This device does not give accurate temperature. It was compared multiple times to oral thermometers and always showed 1-2 degrees lower. We also compared it to temperature taken on the same person within a few minutes and it was different every time. The ap portion is nice but utterly useless if it doesn’t give an accurate temperature.

We buy this product because we need something good for take temperature to my family , we are very excited for receiving this product and starting use , when I saw in Best Buy (internet ) look something special about that and easy for use, in first time connecting good , working good , second time try use but is not working any more , try again, again, again, nothing , I try did release that but is not working, now I am waiting for the manufacturer respond what can do .

Product sets up easily with multiple users, however after one user it may or may not sync with Apple HealthKit. I tried multiple setups...with bluetooth and without, with wifi and without. It might work once or twice or even all afternoon but ultimately it quit syncing with HealthKit. I contacted support via email and after 3-4 days finally got a response and they could only tell me to try something I had previously explained that I had tried. This happen twice more with similar delays and unhelpful responses. The app is over a year old with no updates, the product itself is a 5 year old design...and they still ask $100 for it! I returned it for a refund.

WOW... I've had bad tech before but this one takes the cake. 1. Sign up for account on the app NOPE... i get a random error code that i cannot get past. 2. Sign up instead online... now there are 4 profiles with my name. To delete these, you have to jump through hoops to 'delete stored data. 3. Walk through the setup... the message on the THERMO says RETRY... over and over and over. There is no troubleshooting, no error code reference... nothing. PS- i bought this to take kiddos temp when sleeping which it clearly advertises. What it doesn't tell you is that it reads UP TO 1/2 INCH AWAY FROM THE HEAD... not sure about you but who can sweep this thing across someones head at less than 1/2 inch. Ridiculous.

I have two other Withings products and both of them connected to my Wi-Fi and were easy to setup. This has not been the case with the thermometer. I have gone back and forth with Withings tech support and it is obvious they have no clue as to what the issue is and they just keep having me reseting my router, deleting and reinstalling the app. The app is a different app than the one the other products use so I suspect this is the issue but I'm convinced Withings will keep me jumping through hoops until they fix the app or I return the thermometer. If you have a lot of time to waste dealing with offshore tech support buy this otherwise don't waste your time or money

Bought this 6 months ago and it is not working anymore. Tried calling customer support but to no avail. They don't even honor the warranty on the device. Just a total waste of money!

First off the from Withings will not allow you to add adition members which makes it uses for Families. It is always 1 to 2 degrees lower then your actual temperature. Whithings Support is non existance. Withings stopped updating the Thermo app 2 years ago.

Stay away from anything Wirthings!!! This thing never really worked and honestly should’ve been returned. It consistently reads 2 to 3 deg less than it should. Just took my temp and it says I’m 96.7 degrees. It also gives different results every time you use it. I also bought a Withings scale and blood pressure monitor and both don’t work.

This thing has not been updated in years, and it requires its own very dated app. Does not connect through the HealthMate app. Most importantly, the device will not connect to a modern router that uses a single SSID and band switching. If you own a Nest WiFi or any other router that doesn't give you full control over SSIDs and radios, this will not connect. Bluetooth only.

I purchased this for my child who has a medical condition that we need to monitor their temperature. Sadly this always reads 95-97 degrees for people in our house who are not sick and i have never gotten a correct temp when someone was running a fever.

It took me an hour to connect it to my WiFi .. keeps asking again and again about the password and which network.. then ALL THE READINGS are inaccurate my temp and ALL THE FAMILY MEMBERS are 95-96 !! That means we are all Hypothermic .. and when you repeat it again it gives either up or down a degree , a half degree !! Not recommending.. sorry

I'm a big fan of Withings. I've been using their scale for over a year and their BP monitor. They share the same app and update automatically. I can't say the same for the Thermo Smart. It is not accurate, clunky to use and does not share the same app.

Withings needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. Very low readings, 96s and 97s, got a 98 once. Had 101.2 fever, but Thermo recorded it at 97 7. Very disappointing. Would have returned, but because I became ill I missed the deadline to return.

This device goes through batteries every day. Support said that a few are lemons and they are sending me a new one. I will update this (if possible) if the new one works properly.

Can't use it with out app. Can't download app on my phone. So useless. Had to return it.

This product was a big disappointment. Repeated problems with installation and linking to the app. A new software update would not install. I feel I wasted my money.

This is expensive and not worth the money. Does not work. Bad readings - tried 4 times and is useless

Tested against Kinsa oral and the temperatures read weren’t the same. Additionally, this thermometer can’t be used without the app.
