Ok, but not great

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The thermometer is easy to use but you have to download app and connect to wifi and authorize bluetooth connection for it to work. I’m not quite sure why I HAVE to set up an account with Withings and provide so much personal information just for my temperature to be taken or the device will not work. Although it’s easy to use and gives a quick reading, I don’t think they’re incredibly accurate. Taking 5 back to back readings on the same person in the space of 5 - 10 seconds, yielded 5 different temperatures...some varying by as much as a degree. I’m not saving data on my phone as I’m not too keen on my health data being sent to some company in England.

Easy to use, but not always accurate.

Unfortunately compared to a regular thermometer, it’s not always very accurate.

I use it as my go to but you don't need your phone to use it. There are little lights that will tell you what temperature you have.

Bluetooth and app were selling points. However it’s probably easier to get an accurate reading with our in-ear Braun.

Application is Nice but readings are inconsistent

Initial bought this in Aug '20 and temp reading appeared to be accurate. Recently family member got sick and we did a compare with an ol fashion mouth temp reader. Consistently was reading 1 to 1.5 degrees higher over a course of a couple of days.
