Having seen this movie in he Theater in '77, it has always held a special place in my movie goin' heart. It's a fun story about post-apocalyptic Earth with two wizard brothers and the fight between good and evil. At the time we first saw the movie, my son was 8 years old. We have both enjoyed watching it many times through the years. I own an animation cell from the movie. Buy it...it's great entertainment for very little money.

A super deal on this blu ray digibook. The cost was $4. This is Ralph Bakshi's animated feature from the 1970's. It's sort of a science-fiction vs fantasy mashup. An evil wizard is attempting to wipe out all of the fantasy characters using weapons from extinct humanity. Like all of Bakshi's work there's a combination of rotoscoped live action and hand drawn animation. It's worth a look with an entertaining and informative Bakshi commentary track.

Review of the 35th Anniversary Edition. The "classic"...good vs evil movie...as well as being a classic in and of it's self...has been a favorite for years. It was experimental in it's use of removal of detail in objects and replacing with other features...with wonderful artists renderings...excellent in Blue-Ray and has a full color booklet explaining production and story...just one of those really fun movies...

An adult who enjoys dark humor and weird characters like me will get a kick out of it. The bluray did an excellent transfer for a 35 years old cartoon. Nice featurettes and the digibook comes with 24 beautifully colored pages. This cult classic animation should be in everyones library.

One of my favorite movies of 1977. Still waiting for "The Car" to come on Blu Ray. Wizards made me a die hard Ralph Bakshi fan. He has done others that are really great too. This movie is a great battle between good and evil. I bought three copies to give two as gifts to other fans.

This is still a fun film to watch if you are over 40. I doubt the younger generation will appreciate the video montage and imagery done by Ralph Bakshi. I was hoping they were able to some remastering but it looks like they kept it to the original...

I saw this at the movies in the 70's, I've referenced this movie several times to friends who has never seen it, now I can let the watch it, in stead of telling then about it. When I saw it was available, I had to have it.

This is one of my favorite movies. Fantasy and political satire all mixed up with fantastic artwork. You need to see it, if you haven't seen it and you need to own it, if you have seen it. Enjoy

I enjoyed the Cartoon and the style in which it was done... I study film making and its nice to have a solid retro a 1970's style to enjoy and learn from.

I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed this movie! The animation is excellent, the story is great!! It dies get a bit trippy but it adds to the charm.

This cartoon is so full of weird images I had to pause it to look at them.I loved it.It is only about an hour and a half long but it is so wild.

A great classic. We enjoyed this movie very much. Wil watch again soon.
