Wolf Children is one of the most beautiful animated movies I've ever seen the movie follows Hana a collage student who meets a man in one of her class they fall in love then the man reveals that he's a wolf man and that he's the last of the Japanese wolves they live together and have two children the father dies and Hana has to raise her children alone but she's only Human to where her children are human and wolf

This is an excellent movie. The story is very charming and fun for the whole family. It is about a single mother struggling to raise her werewolf children and keep their secret. There isn't much action in this movie, its more of a drama film. But the characters are interesting and the story keeps you interested. My two little girls loved it. It definitely has the charm of a Studio Ghibli film, only its not made my them.

If you are a fan of Hayao Miyazaki's style, a fan of good animated films, or just a fan of good stories, then this is a MUST SEE! The story about a young mother raising her unique, young children hits all of the right emotional tones. I don't want to give anything away so I will just say that I highly recommend watching this movie! It has a little bit of something for all ages. It is definitely worth your time! Buy it!

Wolf Children is a touching fable of a mother and her two kids who move away from the urban life to the wilderness to hide the kids secret, they can turn into wolves! The blu ray has great picture and wonderful sound, and a pretty good amount of special features. check it out!

Wolf Children is a beautiful and beautifully animated tale of a mother raising two wolf children after their father passes. The settings are very nice, with the story progressing from city, to country, to school and watching the children find their own paths. They turn from human to wolf, being human-wolf hybrids, when they are stressed. Other times, they are free to be their wolf sides in the absence of humans. It is a good story, but at two hours, it is a bit too long. I found it satisfying, but not worth a re-watch, personally. So, I recommend renting it or finding it on a streaming service rather than purchasing it for your collection.

Wolf Children is one of the best animated movies I've seen on par with Studio Ghibli releases. My wife and I enjoyed the story for a semi-date night but the ending had us wanting more. The artwork is fantastic, it'll make a calibrated HDTV shine. The audio is great as well. One should definitely watch this with a good surround set up the rainy scenes definitely made me feel proud to own a good set up.

so, i believe i rented this movie when it first came out, and i loved it then. i then managed to get my mom to watch it with me, may or may not have been on ore around mothers day, but i dont remember. still she liked it. if you want an animated movie with more depth, and emotion then you normally thing you would, then watch this, you will be glad you did.

It's hard to sum up my feelings about this film. It was recommended to me, but I otherwise had no idea what I was in for, but it's a gorgeous, often somber film that deals with some odd inter-species subject matter. It's a riveting and warm film, unique, and worth watching. The dub is excellent. The presentation is beautiful, and there's a decent selection of special features.

I initially approached this movie because its cutesy art style. The characters looked adorable and the plot synopsis sounded interesting but the level of emotional maturity far exceeded my expectations. In a very grounded fantasy about the duality of nurturing vs animal instinct I can tell you this film tugged at my heartstrings in all the right places.

After viewing the "The Boy and The Beast" by the same director I had to check out this wonderful film. I honestly thought I would be bored with it's slower pace but the characters are developed masterfully and to run the risk of sounding cliche it definitely tugs at the heart strings. Definitely a must see for fans of anime in the Miyazaki style.

Anime is not for anyone. If you cannot appreciate the larger stories or the beauty of the design, then open up to it. This is a great and sad story of a single mother raising her half wolf half human children. Pay close attention to everything going on some awesome reoccurring themes are going on throughout the film.

For a movie that didn't receive as much attention as a Studio Ghibli film, this is definitely one of my favorites. By the end, both me and my girlfriend are in tears, but we still watch it again. Probably my second favorite anime movie of all time. One of many I'll pollute my future offspring with.

Amazing detailed animation that brings the story to life, the story revolves around a mother making it great not only for children. The emotions it gives usually can't easily be given by other movies with a calm like demeter. The story sucks you in immediately, catching your attention making you wonder about things.

This movie tells the story of a woman who falls in love with a wolf and bears children. She ends up having to raise both of them on her own and does so in an exceptional way. The characters are enjoyable and story is well paced. Its the perfect movie to get someone who isn't into anime to appreciate the medium.

The Wolf Children is a wonderful tale of how a mothers love will endure until the end of time. As parents we want nothing but the best for our children. The anime feature is superb in the storytelling of how a Mother will sacrifice her heart and soul for the well being of her children. This move is fantastic for all family members.

Honestly, this is one of the best anime movies that I have watched in a while time. The story line, the picture, the music, the characters - I have no complaints. It's a beautiful story about family and love. Some parts may not be suitable for children or may be a little too complicated for them to understand, but it's a great movie.

This film is an instant classic. The animation quality and style is superb. The voice cast both Japanese and English are fantastic. If you love Studio Ghibli films, then this is a must see.I highly recommend watching this on Mother's Day with mom or the wife and kids.

A movie from the director of Summer Wars, Mamoru Hosoda, I went in to this with high expectations. The story revolves around a single mother who has children that are basically werewolves. That is oversimplifying it greatly but if that concept doesn't sound appealing to you then you should look elsewhere. The movie has some spectacular animation and the kids are absolutely adorable. My only real complaints are how the movie comes to a conclusion. I think it feels a little rushed and a little messy. Overall though I enjoyed the movie and I would recommend it to any anime fan.

It was refreshing to watch this movie with my grandson because it helped him to understand how important a mother is to her children. It showed a mother putting her children first before anything and he so wants that in his life. I wish his mother would watch it and realize that time is fleeting by.

What a piece of artwork. It looks like there are some actual photos mixed in with this anime but, the artistry is gorgeous. The story of course would be considered Sci-Fi. Love a good Sci-fi. Definitely set in a simpler time. Again my 6 year old artist loved it. Seeing the pups/children was exciting for him. I cried.
