Do you like old school FPS games with a modern flare. Well, this is your game. It's single player only, but they definitely made it worth it with the in-depth story that accompanies the game. If you're familiar with the Wolfenstein series, then you'll feel right at home.

This is truly what a first person shooter should be. Being a fan since the first 3D Wolfenstein game back in '92, I've enjoyed all the subsequent sequels that came out. This one, by far, is my favorite and it has delivered on all fronts - fun factor, replayability, graphics, interactivity, variety, and it is true to its origins.

The game was fun and looks great . Story line is good.

Have only played about a couple hours in , but so far so good-it's a quality shooter made by Bethesda. There is only campaign so those who are looking to FRAGment are out of luck-the story plays through an alternate history where zee Germans have won. Looks great, audio's good, plays better.

When I first heard there was a new Wolfenstein coming out I was excited but skeptical. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was a great game for it's time, then the 2009 release was met with mixed reviews of the like/hate kind. Don't know that anyone loved it. Wolfenstein: The New Order is a modern take on the Return to Castle Wolfenstein but expands the theater that BJ Blaskowicz operates within...including a trip to the moon. The graphics are top quality but you gotta have a pretty high end system to get the best that it has to offer. But well worth it. I have a core i7 system with a GTX 2xx series video card (not supposed to work with that) but it does, albeit with some minor tearing along the way. The story line has you make a choice early on in the game so after you finish the game on 1 story line, you can play it again for a different story line. Graphics differ a little between the two scenarios, & one of BJ's skill actions is altered. Either way though, the story line is surprisingly engaging and flows well through the campaign. Game play is entertaining, and sometimes takes a few re-spawns before you figure out what to do. But when that happens it puts you back really close to the point where BJ failed. No game save option, but you don't need it. The biggest negative (that you reluctantly get used to) is picking up items (ammo, health, treasure). You have to hit a key to pick up things instead of moving through them. Hope that changes if there is ever another installment to the series. 4 Difficulty levels and unlike the hardest level setting in R.t.C.W. that wasn't that hard once you played it (future replays), the 'I am death incarnate" level on this is hard, especially in certain scenes. I had to drop the difficulty level mid-play to get by a couple of times. Which is a nice feature actually, you're not locked in to one level once you start. You can change it on the fly as desired. And even when you play the game again, the hardest level still offers a stout challenge even though you know what's coming. Just a warning to younger audiences, the stealth takedown option during gameplay is rather graphic. The game is worth the purchase and time spent. If you are a fan of FPS's and/or of the Wolfenstein series this game will not disappoint.

I played the original Wolfenstein games years ago on PC and found them fun and entertaining. This new game is full of incredible graphics, challenging game play with an intriguing story line. The multiple keys in use during the game take some getting used too for newbie PC gamer, but the Razer Tartarus made it a little easier for me as I programmed all the keys closer together and keep them all at my fingertips.

I have been an avid game player since my first game which was pong so since 1974 I have played hundreds of games. Wolfenstein The New Order I am 57% complete and it's been worth it so far. Far Cry III now that was a good game and I would rate this game at it's level... bye..

I am playing this on a Inter Core i7 Extreeme processor with 16 Gig of memory a SSD 240 Gig as a bootable and game store, The 4 DVD's took 2 hours to install (Steam Install) then another 35 min for the Steam Update (I have a 60Mbps connection to the net). After all that it FINALLY allowed me to play the game. Guranteed my machine is not a hard core gaming rig but the game play is good. You have to have the newest NVIDIA driver for the game to be totally smooth and fluid. Overall still good other that the technical issues I cannot fault this game once its loaded.

Multiplayer games are fun but I'll take single player action any day. I can play and learn the game at my own pace. This game is a fantastic single player action game that does not disappoint. The game challenges every level of expertise with plenty of special effects and awesome graphics. There are also story lines that are sprinkled throughout the game that add to the interest and intensity of the experience. You will learn to hate some characters and love others. All the while wondering in what situation you will be thrust into next.

Wolfenstein returns with a very intense game. The game is very well designed, however recommend for adults only. Lots of language, extreme violence (including torture) and love scenes.

compared to the last game, this one is advanced and more on par with the games today. the size was huge it took 3 hours to install. great graphics.

My son has been anticipating the release of Wolfenstein since first notified around Christmas. Best Buy had an exclusive offer that if you pre- ordered the game, you would get an Action Figure with the game. When we went to pick up our game and action figure our trip ended up being a 2 hour ordeal just to get the game without the action figure., be spoken to by corporate as if we made up their action figure offer even though we furnished the front counter with the Best Buy Pre-order ticket that stated the action figure came with the game, and having left without my son's action figure nor any information on the action figure. My son love's the game but we were very disappointed with the lack of responsibility with Best Buy.

I am enjoying playing the game quite a lot. I've been playing the Wolfenstein games since the very first one in 1981. This one is quite a lot of fun.

This storyline in this game is what makes it such a great buy. If you are tired of the same old military games that are out there, this is the one for you.

I like this game. Graphics are great and fast on my new computer. I would have given it 5 stars but some aspects of the game are near impossible to complete. Very happy.

Super packed game...graphics are super, speed of game is terrific... more ways for Duke to get out of and 50 ways to kill more of the enemy...GREAT choice for the serious Duke Nukem fan
