    Deadpool is in it

The Deadpool that appears in this fil is not the Deadpool that we now know and love, but a weird interpretation of Deadpool that is rectified in Deadpool 2. I didn't enjoy this film as much when I originally watched it in theaters. Somehow playing it at home improves the experience. There are some good moments in the film. It is worth watching to see the heroes journey from this film to the end with "Logan."

While the X-Men movies have been hit or miss to me, Jackman's Wolverine is always good. I'm not sure where this story line came from, I thought it was a little odd, but nice to get out of the USA for a little adventure. There were only a few extra scenes from the theatrical release, not enough to really be that interesting. Good quality on blu-ray, good features, it's a a good addition to the superhero pantheon of movies.

It's a twist on wolverine's past, but this movie takes place in the present time, after the death of Jean Gray. Logan returns to Japan to try and find peace and to help piece together his faint memories of his past. This is a great action packed movie, first introducing the silver samurai as one of his arch nemesis. I would recommend it to anyone of a mature audience. True xmen fans will notice a lot of plot twists in this recollection of wolverines. Still, a great movie ☺

I saw this movie in the theater, because I love comic book movies and the character of Wolverine in particular, but I bought this particular Edition because I wanted to use my PSVR for a 3-D movie experience, and I was not disappointed! I haven't gone through all the special features, but the movie itself is just awesome, and the 3-D in PSVR aspect was awesome as well. Totally worth it!

Good super hero film... but not for children

Good action packed film featuring Marvel Comic's popular X-Men character Wolverine. I enjoyed this better than 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Story takes place in Japan with nice scenic shots of Nagasaki. I have some issues with this movie's portrayal of certain characters as ethnic stereotypes. What also marred the movie a little for me was the hero's use of profanity in his language which makes me not want to recommend this for children.

3D Edition gives Unrated Cut on Blu-ray

You can't go wrong with the 3D edition of The Wolverine. It's the only way to get the extended, unrated cut of the film on Blu-ray, the regular 2D version only gives the Theatrical version. The theatrical cut removes the blood and censors out Logan's claws impaling his enemies, but in the unrated version, all of that is back in in proper form. If you were a fan of 2017's "Logan" film, the unrated cut of "The Wolverine" is the only way to go.

This is such a great X-Men film focused on the history of Wolverine. It is so much better than X-Men origins: Wolverine. I believe they made this 4 years later to correct the underwhelming origins film. This is so well acted and takes place in Japan. The writing and acting is awesome! The Director's cut is the only way to watch this film. Video & audio quality is top notch.

This is one of the better Marvel films out there. If the creative and production team behind this and Logan continue in this direction, I'll keep going to see and buy their work. The Wolverine is moody and atmospheric. The cast is pretty solid and the action is well-staged. This blu-ray comes with a gorgeous transfer and plenty of extras. You even get two cuts of the film. Good deal for ten bucks.

I enjoyed this movie and liked learning about the backstory of Wolverine. It came full circle in this movie and at times it felt that it would be the end of Wolverine. I think that Wolverine is the only X-men character at the time that could pull off their own movie. Hugh Jackman is the perfect actor for Wolverine and it would be hard to see anyone else in that role. Sets up nicely for the next one.

This was a decent stand-alone Wolverine story - you can easily jump right in without seeing all of the other X-Men movies. The Wolverine is also much better than X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so it's got that going for it. The story was a little lacking in spots, but the action scenes are pretty decent. If you haven't seen this movie and you like the character it's definitely worth a try.

What a beast of a movie , Wolverine is the best mutant ever I've like him from my childhood. It's great to see all the comic characters I grew up reading about come to life on the big screen. This movie is a must have for any fan , I love the collector cards in this combo pack. The movie is cool in 3D too , can't wait to see what they do in the future Wolverine movies. I want to see Omega Red in one of these Wolverine movies definetly , great villain next to Sabertooth.

The movie was 9.5 our of 10 to me. The Silver Samurai at the end was just IMHO what screwed the movie. Sad to say that, but at least it didn't last long. Here's hoping that Logan will be just as awesome without the crazy bleh enemies like The SS in here and Deadpool screwup on Origins:Wolverine. I really do hope that they do end up making a Wolverine and Deadpool movie before Hugh Jackman truly hangs the claws up for good.

Being a fan of X-MEN and comic books is not a requirement to get into this movie. You'll have a great story and plenty of action and fight scenes to keep you busy, even if you aren't so familiar with the characters (but really, how could you not be?). Like the Origins film, this will help you learn more about who Logan (James Howlett) really is. As usual, Hugh Jackman puts on a great performance.

I have been a big fan of Wolverine since I was a little kid reading the comic books and watching the cartoon shows back in the 90s! He's always been like the most edgiest character/superhero and you always know that he's always ready to fight for whatever especially for his friends. This movie adds another dimension to the life of Logan and gives us a glimpse of his long and somewhat strange history. If you're a Wolverine fan, you should buy it!

Since the beginning of the X-Men series and Wolverine. Hugh Jackman kept stepping up his game on the portraying The Wolverine. This movie just proved how good he is doing this role. He toke this movie to another level and never looked back. The action, story line is incredible and worth having if you are an X-Men fan. It's so much better then The Origins of Wolverine, and it proves that given a chance there is nothing that The Wolverine can Conquer.

This film got kind of lost in the shuffle of all the other superhero movies announced for the future as well as this year releases like Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, etc. Despite the fact that many people skipped this one This was a well written story, definitely better than previous wolverine and x-men films. Wolverine works really well as a standalone character and I really recommend this film for anyone even slightly considering purchasing it.

Fox has a tendency of forgetting their other movies in this universe, and adjusting to their agenda. This one is no exception. Decent overall. The dying bear looked fake as f*ck. They could've used Fozzy from Sesame Street, and it would've looked more realistic. I think I suffer from PTSD from previous marriages. Online reviews are a good coping mechanism.

Since we never had a chance to watch Wolverine on the big screen, buying the bluray would be a no brainer. I'm a big fan of the X-men series. I have to admit that I didn't think I would really like the movie but it definitely slashed my negative thoughts because it was a pretty good movie. I wish there was more action but I'll take it. If you are an X-men fan, watch this movie you'll be surprised.

This movie fills in more Wolverine's travels since he left the X-men after Jean Gray's death. It also has a bit of historical background before he joined the X-men concerning WWII and Japan. Good CGI effects, crisp editing and great international casting keep this story moving until the end. Good addition to my X-men / Wolverine movie collection.

Wolverine engages in his usual ham-fisted fighting style, winning only because of an unnatural ability to regenerate his health. He gives hope for all of us inept folk, that we can succeed in spite of failing to master our core skills even when given multiple lifetimes to learn it. I don't want to spoil it, but there is a little twist in this movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat!
