Like the fact this was based on a true story. Haven't watched the movie yet but couldn't pass up the price.

This is an excellent movie for kids to watch. The main character is a little boy who has had multiple surgeries to his face. He starts going to public school and learned quickly how cruel the world really is. The movie portrays the perspective of the little boy who gets hurt time and time again from his peers because of his looks. It’s a tear jerker for any parent and lesson for kids “not to judge a book by its cover.”

If you like a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and jump for joy this is one for the books

Watch with your children and talk about this movie, and it's message!!! Incredible how the writers created storylines for each character to tell how the main character's journey was supported by other characters, displays a powerful message that I believe we as a society show instill in the younger generations, as this has been degraded though our generation. This allowed the main character's arc to be supported by each other characters' own arc. Very well balanced and acted.

Man I only gave it 4 stars cause it was so emotional. Kinda messes with your head.

My daughter would give this 10 stars, but very well done movie.

A heartwarming story about someone who is different and must face the pitfalls of what that means. Without giving away too much of the story - you will feel up and down emotions about what the young boy in the movie deals with. Jacob Tremblay does a marvelous job as the young boy while Owen Wilson and Julia Roberts are good in the parent role.

Inspirational move the whole family can enjoy. Recommended!

This is just what the world needs; a story of hope and faith in the face of great odds. Julia Roberts finest film in ages, a welcome back for Owen Wilson, and a tale that would make the Grinch's heart grow 5 sizes. Based on a true story, and from what the Missus says, a fine retelling on film. Living proof people CAN be who they want to be, regardless of the obstacles...........HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This movie shows a lot. The impact bullying can have, though not to the extreme. The struggle to fit in with others. Especially while going against your own feelings. The latter being shown as his friend talking behind his back to fit in with the cool kids. How one act can change others overall opinions. This was also a mild tear jerker. I absolutely love Julia Roberts
