I like more the first one, but this one has a good history.

I had very high hopes for WW84, but I must admit that I was a little let down. The story doesn't flow as naturally as the first film and the special effects are not at the high level audiences expect today. That isn't to say the movie isn't entertaining, just not at the level of the previous WW. From a technical level, the 4K disc is a beauty. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos soundtrack look and sound phenomenal. A great demo disc if you are looking to test out your set up.

WW84 isn't as weighty as the first and lacking in a certain punch when the action kicks in, and it goes SUPER heavy on the 80s cheese early on, but the setting and indulgent aesthetic serve a clear storytelling purpose rather just being there to look cool. Gal Gadot is better here than she's ever been and Chris Pine is an eternal charmer, while Kristen Wiig & Pedro Pascal (whose Max Lord is essentially a giant middle finger to a certain orange wannabe dictator) combined make charismatic villains offering equal doses of slime and pathos. It's bigger, flashier, and more out-there than its predecessor, and while it trips into schmaltz now and then, there's still some very down to earth drama at its core with more restrained humor than I was fearing to spice it up. It's a wonder!

It's a ok movie go out it u will enjoy it very good.

The movie gets a lot of flack for being silly, which it is in the beginning. I was almost ready to dismiss it after the first half hour. But it does pick up, though perhaps thanks to stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine, who instill the characters with the proper substance. The story has more substance later in the film, and more interesting, though I can understand those who might dislike it. The video/audio is excellent.

While this movies suffers from the sophomore curse that can plague some movie trilogies, that does not mean this is not a good movie, just that it is not as great as the first. I enjoyed this movie as a whole, but the overall flow is uneven and some aspects of the story seem rushed. Gal Gadot was the best part, as is the case any time she plays Wonder Woman. Chris Pine was good too, although his character seemed forced at times. But that is due to the writing, not the actor. The rest of the cast is OK, but again the story was the real problem here. It is worth watching, if only to remind you how great the original was and give you hope the next will do everything it can to overcome what went wrong with this one.

There's a few things to like about WW84. UNFORTUNATELY, IT'S not much. Don't get me started on Quantum Leaping, body hijack gimmick.

Not as good as the original, but still entertaining and enjoyable. Gal Gadot owns this role though and does a fantastic job showing the two sides of Wonder Woman's/Diana's persona. I especially liked the way that Patty Jenkins incorporated many of the same characters who were instrumental in Diana's life in the first film to make key appearances in this one as well, such as Connie Nielsen's Hippolyta and Robin Wright's Antiope in flashback scenes to when Diana was a child and of course the "resurrection" of Steve Trevor. New characters play key roles as well starting with Kristin Wiig's Cheetah and Pedro Pascal's Maxwell Lord.

This steel book version is really nice, but I would have liked the movie itself to be a bit better overall. Gal is Gal, she is Wonder Woman and did the best she could with the script given. I think she looked good and the sound was good. Artwork throughout. Got on a good deal on this, less than $14. I hope that the next standalone WW movie is far better and has a script that is worthy. For me, the movie is 3, the steel book is 4.

It's funny. Everyone said that Tenet needed multiple viewings to "get it." I pretty much "got it" on the the first try. Oh I'm sure that I'll pick up other things but not the basic story. I feel that I need to watch WW1984 a number of times. For me the special features helps me understand which way the Director wanted to go. WW1984 is more of a character piece. Sure there was action, just a little different. The picture quality is awesome, you know you will get this if you are a collector.
