    Stunning Visual but Ok Movie!

Over all the Steelbook itself is clean looking with a picture on the inside. As far as the movie goes. It's ok and definitely not as good as the first one but most movies aren't. I do like the movie and it does have Dolby Vision and Atmos so sound and sight is up to par. The movie itself sends a good message about greed and the consequences of being so. Happy ending of course as most Super Hero movies tend to be.

A beautiful Steelbook for a subpar Sequel

I, like most people, really enjoyed the first Wonder Woman. The sequel, which takes place in 1984, tries to elevate the stakes whilst also bringing home a simple message about selflessness. It succeeds in some areas, but overall doesn't manage to reach the heights of its predecessor. Beautiful steelbook though, and I still recommend buying if you're a die hard comics fan like me.

a hot take but dc has been on a roll as of late with their current slate of movies, shazam was awesome, birds of prey kicked butt and ww 84 is great filled with heart and hope. Although the movie has it's faults , the steve trevor return could have been done in a more tasteful manner , cheetah should have not been sidelined and saved for the third film. Pedro Pascal does amazing with what he has to do and saves this movie from being too insane with it's wacky premise. As stuff gets more absurd and crazy it's pedro who keeps it down to reality , very excited to see where his career takes him next.

    WW84 was....a thing.

To keep it short, is it as good as the first Wonder Woman film? No. Is it terrible? No. Wonder Woman 1984 is simply a step backwards, tonally it's a hard shift away from the "dark and gritty" or "mythological and epic" films of the Zack Snyder run in the DCEU. The story essentially feels like that of the Wonder Woman television series, but stretched out over 2.5 hours.... making it feel inconsequential to the DCEU, nonsensical, and a bit empty. Gal and Chris still have solid chemistry, a chemistry that keeps the film from falling apart (aside from an awkward plot point), while Pedro and Kristen are doing their own thing by giving us a more hammed up performances. The film could have had a great message about rampant capitalism, and even brought the Orwellian themes from the book Jenkins claims inspired the film, but instead we got a..... fluffy Wonder Woman sequel, and there is nothing wrong with fluff or showing Wonder Woman's more vulnerable or compassionate side, but the film framed around it didn't fully work. Also the steel book cover looks better in person, but isn't my favorite.

The movie is good. To be honest, it is a bit too long. Having two different villains is problematic. That said, the 3D version is wonderful. Since it was never offered a 3D theatrical showing, this disc is extra special. From the 4th of July fireworks to the final battle, this 3D version is really special and very fun to watch. If you can plat 3D, you are really going to enjoy this disc.

This movie sorta continues about after ww2, forty years later, she still , there is still young and beautiful, still trying to protect, to ease slowly to better world. But Diana even wants something, simple, even she can't have, but what if you could, would it be a simple thing or major thing. Would it create or destroy. It started as a simple thing, but it has a price to it.

Very bad choice of steel-book cover. it has nothing to do with story, just looks cool. My disc, didn't work OTB, no scratches but didn't start fine. I cleaned it with a wipe and worked after that. Movie comments: How to waste millions, make a really bad movie. Oh yeh, this movie is not at all good for any sensible adult but with kids you may like when you know what to expect from it. No DCU, several continuity problem and badly executed cliche characters and scenes. I finally enjoyed it. This movie really struggle to stand on its own. It is not a bad movie at all. It just disappoints and fall flat on expectations. Story is good, screenplay is fine. Editing is very bad for such a movie. Few opportunities to give movie high points were simply wasted. Looks like pandemic affected this movie a lot, and a product was made just for streaming. I also noticed several continuity problem between DCU, WWI, which make it look mediocre and you question about director's state of mind. Several scenes are mediocre, can't even laugh on how stupid these look on screen.

Wonder Women is back and i have to say that even though its not as good as the first movie, its still overall a pretty solid movie. The plot could've been better but the characters were good enough and the action as always we these types of superhero movies was really good. I enjoyed it and i recommend this to anyone thats a fan of superhero movies or DC comics.

The first one arrived in a flimsy plastic envelope, and was bent badly. Took it to best buy and they were able to get it exchanged. The second one looked great. I can't say the movie itself was as good as the first one, but it's enjoyable, and I'm glad this one has a nice steelbook to go with the first movie steelbook I had bought previously.

This is a great movie! The story is well written and conceived. While this is an action super hero movie, it really is a human interest story of people wanting what they can't have and then dealing with the consequences when they get what they should have gotten. Gal Godot is perfect in this role. She is a human who has a breaking heart and she lets you feel it, but she overcomes to face life. The Story has its sad moments, but it uplifting over all. Great story that I will look forward to watching again.

I was unsure what to expect because I had heard a lot of mixed reviews. I was initially going to watch it on HBOmax but wound up waiting for the 4K Blu-ray to get released. I prefer the 4K Blu-rays for the best picture quality and Dolby Atmos audio is much better from the disc compared to streaming. The movie was fun and truthfully better than I expected!

I like this Wonder Woman movie because it has a backstory of her childhood learning to win ethically and morally, and the story deals with the emotions and feelings of the characters instead of depending on explosions to hold the audience, although there was plenty of action for the boys. The DVD has several featurettes and I was surprised at how many of the scenes are real action by the actors or stunt people and not just CGI. The girl actress who plays young Diana is fearless and amazing. Our girls need more role-models like Diana.

Gal Gadot is perfect as Wonder Woman. Kristen Wiig is superb as Cheetah and Chris Pine's return was welcomed even though it turned out to be a bit of a Dallas moment. The visit back in time for someone who was a teen in the 80's was very fun. Maybe not the strongest movie but unmissable if you're into DC or Marvel comic book fare.

I thought wonder woman 1984 (second installment) was good, but I liked the first installment better, since they talked about the origin of wonder woman. I can't wait until the third installment of wonder woman to come out on big screens in theaters in the near future.

This is a good movie, however, the biggest problem I have still puzzles me. From the first Wonder Woman I clearly saw Wonder Woman's boyfriend blowup in a propeller driven aircraft of the period. Now, he’s back! There is a scene where he not only knows how to start a modern jet but fly it too! Did I me something??

I really don’t know why everyone was complaining. It wasn’t quite as awesome as the first one. And cheetah/ golden eagle Armor were slightly wasted. Hope to see more in the future. But Pedro pascal does a great job. Good moral lesson on wishes and consequences (which we as a society need right now). And gal gadot is still one of the best casting choices DC has made (along with Mamoa and Robbie). And not to mention this steelbook design is absolutely gorgeous.

This is a good movie, just not as good as the first one. It's rare to have a sequel that's as amazing as the first. Nothing really happens until towards the end, I guess that's why. Still worth watching. I bought this for the steel book because I collect them. And your more than likely not gonna find one now with the steel book.

i thought it was great!!! people didnt like it because "it was too long" its a long movie yes and its a lot to take in, but in the end it was a fun movie with cool villains this movie gets plus points for having kristen wiig, shes super duper cool haha shes one of my favorites pedro pascal is always great. but i don have to say..... some of the cgi on this thing looked very very cheap, you can tell right off the bat where they didnt want to waste the money its a fun movie tho give it a shot

Not the best movie but the steelbook at half price is hard to pass up. Has its moments. Sound and picture good. Gal Gadot is a good role model. Family friendly. First Best Buy steelbook where I could easily remove the second disc.

To be honest I am burnt out on super hero movies. Lol. I must be the I only one though because they keep pumping them out. However, this is a pretty cool one and the 3D is nice. It's a shame they kinf of fazed out the tech. It's still a cool feature to have every now and then.
