If you've only seen the live action Wonder Woman movie and think, it can't get much better than this, you are mistaken. This is a fantastic Wonder Woman film at the height of DC Animation. It is one of my favorite DC animated films and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The fact that it also comes with a beautiful graphic novel with stunning artwork makes this purchase a no brainer. Well worth picking up.

This is a great DC animation film about Wonder Woman and her origin story. Alfred Molina does the best voice for Ares as does Nathan Fillion for Steve Trevor. Great animation, action, and great humor for all fans. Wish DC would do another stand alone animated movie for her. The collector edition with the cards is a real treat of great artists, too.

Bought this for my daughter hoping to get her into comics, which I loved as a kid. I think it might be a little over her head at this age, but I am hopeful she will pick it up down the road and really enjoy it. She went to the movie this summer and loved it. For what I paid for this on sale, it was worth the gamble. She will probably enjoy the included movie as well, but I won't let her watch it until she reads the book.

This is a good movie with a good storyline. Although the story largely based on the original Wonder Woman, it includes quite a bit updates for the current generation audience and does a good job to keep everything intact. The modern society does not emphasis woman right as much anymore, mostly because woman are regarded as equal in many settings, thus the original storyline may not capture the new generation customers.

As a huge comic book and movie fan, I really enjoyed this product. You get a hardcover graphic novel of the first five issues of George Perez's amazing rendition of Wonder Woman (which is an absolutely amazing storyline) and then the blu ray and dvd of the Wonder Woman animated feature based from the pages themselves. It's fun to read the comic and the watch it come to life on the screen. Great combo pack, I hope they release more like this.

On the mystical island of Themyscira, a warrior race of Amazons have raised a daughter of beauty, grace and strength: Princess Diana. When Army fighter pilot Steve Trevor crash-lands on the island, Diana defies Amazonian law by accompanying Trevor back to civilization. Meanwhile, Ares, the god of war, has escaped his imprisonment at the hands of the Amazonians and intends to start a world war that will wipe out every living being on the planet. It is up to Diana to save her people and the world by becoming Wonder Woman!

I owned this movie and it was misplaced or never returned to me. Once I see that Bestbuy had it in stock and for an amazing price of $10 I couldn’t refuse and now have into in my collection once again. The movie itself is amazing. The storyline, voice acting, graphics and voice acting is superb. Why can’t all the DC movies have this same formula excluding Deadpool and Wonder Woman movies of course.

I didn't like the Wonder Woman movie at the theaters, so I was looking for a different version of my favorite female super hero's story. I got this one on my kids recommendation, and it was awesome! This movie, literally, had me yelling at the screen! It gives a better backstory for Wonder Woman and shows her strength as a true Amazon warrior princess! This is one for the permanent collection!

I thought this animation version was a good representation of Wonder Woman origin story. In some ways, it was more in line with the comics than the live action version. I still like the Justice League episode where Ares alluded that he was Diana's father instead of being her sister. I thought that plot change made sense, giving Diana will not hesitate to fight even though she doesn't have the same desire of all out war as Ares does. In the animation versions, Diana and Ares (in his human form) favor too.

This Blu-Ray/DVD Combo Pack is a reissue of DC Universe animated film fr. '09,which I already own. I bought this "Commemorative Edition" for Best Buy exclusives of 3 comic art prints(Adam Hughes,Jim Lee & I forgot the 3rd artist's name) & "all new" "What makes a wonder woman" featurette. The film is fun with all-star celebrity casting(Keri Russell in title role, Nathan Fillion et al). The animation is pretty good since the director Lauren Montgomery has worked with Bruce Timm's crew for other DCU cartoons.

Don't be suprised, this is a rehash of an older animated Wonder Woman movie, but can you blame DC for capitalizing on the success of the live action one? This rehash however comes with more special features than its predecessor and a nicer, and in a nicer bluray sleeve. If you never saw this film, it was one of DC's better movies and is a great add to the collection.

This movie is a great portrayal of this iconic character and I truly enjoyed this movie. I wish DC would make more Wonder Woman animated films because this is the only one. I am very happy and proud of the success of the live action Wonder Woman movie. As a bonus, this film offers a graphic novel which does a excellent job telling the story of Princess Diana.

From when I first saw this back in 2009 till now, I have always felt that this animated film in particular held the torch high for others in the DC Animated series to have a standard by which to be guided. It is an absolutely fantastic animated feature that truly embodies the Wonder Woman mythos and is a must have companion piece to the 2017 live action film!

Just in time to celebrate the release of the big-screen adventure, here is another relevant and very exciting look at popular culture's most dynamic super heroine WONDER WOMAN the Commemorative Edition also features a bonus feature that is a stunning look at the widespread influence the comic book character has had on her fans and audience.

This edition is the same as the earlier release, except it has new cover art and an additional special feature. I bought this new Wonder Women reissue because I liked the artwork on slip case and the outside liner and I really enjoy special features. If you already have the older release and do not care about the cover or features, save your money and do not buy it.

In all of my years of watching animated superheroes I think that this Wonder Woman is the best as far as how she is portrayed. The animation is solid, and the story is as well. This isn't the kiddie-friendly wonder woman of the Super Friends era and that's a good thing. If you like Wonder Woman, then I think you'll enjoy this movie, and if you've never really seen Wonder Woman then this is a good movie to watch as a starting point. Enjoy!

These DC movie / comic collections are great. So far I have 3 different ones, but really only think some are worth while as the set. The hardcover comic book is great, the movie was good, but wish they would not just set the discs in the back cover, and instead have a case for them that came with the book.

This is a great story for the original first lady in comics...Wonder Woman! The villain is the perfect fit and even the ending makes me want to look and see if there is another movie that goes on after this one. This animated movie is a great way to warm up for the real version coming out this year

Any Wonder Woman fan will want to have this in their collection. This sits nicely alongside the Live Action Wonder Woman film. The animation is top notch, the voice acting is superb, & I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in Wonder Woman & wants to know more about her origins.

Great film though the drawing of Ares reminds of Gemma from Ninja Scroll!! Arguably one of the best DC animated features!! I slept on it since it originally came out in 2009 but the animation holds up!! I highly recommend if you are a fan of DC films give a new appreciation to Princess Diana of Themyscira!!
