for me, their previous album "13" didn't live up to my expectations. it was a decent album, but it didn't blow me away like I thought it would. part of that may be due to the departure of long time guitarist Mike Clark, but aside from that, it just felt like it was missing something. that record also symbolized the welcome return of Suicidal's more metallic approach to their hyper punk-funk style... with World Gone Mad, its a noticeable improvement. the album title and album cover seems a little sub-par, but make no mistake, with the addition of ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, the Suicidal Tendencies sound just got kicked up a few notches. by now, its essentially the Mike Muir band, but the musicianship on this record definitely stays true to the vibe of the late 80's, early 90's S.T. albums.

It's been awhile since I was interested in listening to anything new from Suicidal Tendencies, however after seeing them live opening for Megadeth, their on-stage energy and sound rekindled my interest in the band. This new album is a perfect blend of hardcore punk and thrash that should leave most old-school fans surprisingly pleased. They aren't reinventing the genre or trying to modern-up their sound. It's the ST we all know and love. Get this album. And a Pepsi.

Muir and Lombardo! Excellence. Great variety of tunes, mixing old school moments in a very modern way. Did I mention Lombardo! the drumming is excellent and for that fact, the guitar work is stellar with some really nice bass work. I really hope we get another album with this same lineup

How can a band named Suicidal Tendencies last 30 plus years? By putting out one metal masterpiece after another, that's how! By far the greatest metal band so few have ever heard of! Oh well, they're huge in Europe!

Not the heavy Suicidal I remember but a great sound. Takes me back to the skater days when they first burst on to the seen. Great cd it will get you going.

This album was so worth it. I must have listened to the song "Clap Like Ozzy" like 10 times the first day I had it. The whole album is catchy and well worth a listen.

I don't know if it was the addition of Dave Lombardo on drums or what. But this is the most classic sounding ST album in a very long time. I hope they keep it rolling.
