    Increddible!

If you are new to MMO's, World of Warcraft is the game for you. The story line of World of Warcraft is enjoyable allowing characters to easily slip into the lore or world of which surrounds them. Those who find the story line to be enjoyable and relaxing may role play (RP) with one another branching their own story line from the already existing one. The game allows the user to have many options. Their are many servers available to players in order to keep the game free of lag and overpopulation. Blizzard has also created three different types of servers; RP, PvP, PvPRP. RP realms allow members from each faction to live in a world free of war, the user has the choice to join PvP by flagging themselves as "in war" with the other faction, unlike PvP realms which automatically flag you in contested areas. The User Interface is very user friendly and customizable. Blizzard has in game options for changing the interface of the game. WoW is very user friendly. If you like cartoon graphics, WoW is for you. The game is far from realistic, set in a fantasy world among great warriors of strength, powerful magical beings, and war between the Horde and Alliance, this game is long from getting old. The graphics are easy to run on some of the simplest computers including PC, Apple, and many laptops. WoW has many large cities within the game, each homes of the many races of each faction. These cities have trainers of professions and classes, auction houses, inns, barber shops, stable keepers, mailboxes, battle ground officers, banks and much more! The game has two factions, the Horde and the Alliance. Each side have five races. The Alliance: Gnome, Human, Draenei, Dwarf, and Nightelf. The Horde: Undead, Tauren, Troll, Orc, and Bloodelf. After choosing your faction and race, you then have many options of classes which include; Mage, Warlock, Priest, Warrior, Paladin, Shaman, Druid, Deathknight, and Rogue. Each race have many nice racials and each class has three-sub-classes allowing you to choose the "type" of sub-class you would like using talent trees. Some of the disappointments in the game, being that the game is close to their third expansion, many old land content is abandoned making it more difficult and time consuming to find groups.

Cool new mounts, armor, weapons, areas. Leveling from 60-70 is too easy but if you play the game, you need this. 70 Stuff Great PvP system. If you have talent, it will show everyone how good you are. Flying mounts are about 5,200G. (Between 30-55$ in real life...a little obsessive?) Level 70 was okay, I'm going to play Lich King out of curiosity. Too addictive, this game can make you an angry person and not want to do things in real life. With technology through emails and such, your account can be taken just by having your email address posted on a guild site (Make an email that's not on your contact info to avoid problems)

    Good Stuff This Way

The first expansion to WoW definitely does not disappoint! Huge new continent, new races, new level cap of 70, flying mounts, tons of new quests, tons of new loot, epic encounters (Battle at Mount Hyjal!), and much more. If you're already playing WoW there should be absolutely no reason for you not to have this expansion. If you've never played WoW before, what better time to try than now? You'll only lose your social life and possibly your job, significant other, friends, family, and any other number of people close to you. But hey, at least you have a flying mount right?

    1. This game had me addicted for around 1 year. The graphics are great, and the quests are non stop. You are always doing something or working towards that new epic sword you have always wanted. 2. NOTE: This game is very addicting. I do not suggest you purchase this game if you are not home for more than 5 hours a nite. 3. NOTE2: This game takes up a very large amount of hard drive space (over 5G) and requires 512k ram. If you have an older computer, I do not suggest you buy this game. Game play: 4.5 Online: 4.5 Graphics: 4 Over all: 4.5

    For the closet addicted gamer

This is the first expansion pack to the other MMORPG known as World of Warcraft. Gamers are not exaggerating when they say this is a very addictive game. The expansion includes new lands to explore, new factions to join and conquer, new skills and talents that every class can learn, flying mounts(!!!), crazy new land mounts, beautiful scenery to enjoy, and all sorts of new monsters to battle. You'll never run out of stuff to do. There's also a new PvP component added known as Arena, which is as fun as it sounds with the right group make-up and gear. However attempts to make the additions to the PvP aspect of game balance out has offset and and in some cases handicapped certain playstyles and specs for PvE gamers. Don't be scared!!! It doesn't take away from the overall fun factor. Strategy is all about adapting and adjusting to these changes and making them work for you. One full year after release and developers are still slowly but surely updating the system in the "old world" (Azeroth) to keep up and match the "new world" (Outlands). So anyone just starting or returning to the game should still expect alot of sudden changes or modifications to their choosen class. As a former, hardcore, Im-extremely-addicted-but-laugh-and-tell-everyone-Im-not-THAT-crazy-about-the-game type gamer, I feel like I should make it my duty to inform everyone to make sure that real-life time always weighs in heavier than game time. Sooner or later every gamer hits a point were everything becomes a test of stength and will power, whether we want to admit it or not. No matter what it is, real-life > gaming.

For all of you who have the original World of Warcraft game, this expansion is a must have! The regular weapons and armor that you get in the expansion are better than the level 60 epics of the original. The level cap has been raised to 70, and Blizzard has introduced flying mounts which make questing much easier and give the player access to areas that are otherwise inaccessable. New mobs, quests, factions, gear, and a new profession: Jewelcrafting. Discover a whole new continent with new dungeons and end-game material. Go get it now!

    3 years and still going!

As a casual PvPer and end game Raider, I'm still enjoying WoW after a little under 3 years. I constantly find new things that keep the game exciting for me, and have PvP gear to work for and Raiding gear to work for. I can still log on and find things to do and it's not boring. Whether it's Battlegrounds, reputation (faction) grinding, Heroic dungeons (at level 70 and with certain reputation in certain factions, there are Heroic dungeons. Just like 5-man dungeons but with better loot (gear) and the mobs and bosses (enemies) hit harder. As other people have mentioned, this game is very addictive. Some people suffer from "burn out" because they play it every chance they can and it gets boring and they start to feel like it's a chore; especially if they're in an end-game raiding guild where they have attendance requirements. The Forums are also very helpful for everyone. There are Suggestion forums, Realm forums, Class forums... Just about any question you have can get answered there. There are also in-game GMs you can contact when you open a Ticket inside the game. There are always things to do. Definitely think about it if you can't dedicate a chunk of your life to it. People with careers and families can still play the game and have fun, but I haven't seen too many in the "hardcore" spectrum of things. Personally I have a career that I'm dedicated to and definitely love to raid and PvP, I just recognize where I have to actually focus my time. If people tell you that they're bored in the game and have nothing to do, they're probably just burning out. There's ALWAYS something to do.

Having only been playing WoW for 6 months when this expansion came out, I still hadn't explored all the original content available. The new content and quicker leveling made this expansion a must have over the previous content. Two new races, Blood Elves and Dranei, as well as new spells, armor, weapons and craft items enhance game play immensely. Only buy this game if you want to have fun.

This is a great game for those who like MMORPGs. With 9 million players worldwide there are always people to interact with and things to do. The game is updated continually, adding new features and areas to explore. Cons: The monthly fee is fairly steep, especially due to the enormous ammount of time required to reach the end-game areas.

I loved this game, im still working my Mage up to lvl 70 [he is @ lvl 41 right now] but i bought this game over the summer so i could make the new classes.. let me tell you.. it is amazing.. the Blood Elf starting Area is full of beautiful scenery, but go to the Ghostlands, and you can see the distruction caused by the Lich King. The introduction of the shaman & palidin now being avalible for the Alliance Shaman [Draine only] & Horde, Paladin [Blood Elf only] makes the game even.. or as even as it can be... its addicting.. looks amazing.... but ppl... go horde... i mean, come on...

A Great Addition, To An Amazing Game

Well, after playing the original World of Warcraft since it came out, and loving almost every minute of it, of course I had to pick this up. It was worth the money, the standing in line at midnight on a bitter cold night, and the lack of sleep for the prior 2 years. The Burning Crusade added a great amount of new content to the game, for both low and high level characters. There is new gear, including, new weapons, new armor, and new "toys". They added a bunch of new pets, for the non-hunters to have their own friendly companion. The added flying mounts. More world PVP zones, along with a new Battle Ground. Oh and how could I almost forget, the Arenas. There are now Arena seasons, to get amazing gear. With season 3 starting today, and the gear being compared to Tier 6. There is so much more new content it would be hard to list it all. As far as Raiding goes, they stepped it up a notch. There is now 10 man and 25 man raids, which most recently were given another addition with the latest patch. So all in all, they did a nice job and they continue to update the content with bigger and better stuff. Now on the other side of things, it is still Blizzard, and we all know Blizzard. They have struggled for the last 3 years to figure out a way from letting their servers have issues. Now I understand it is hard to maintain 50 plus servers, but you would think that 3 years down the road, you wouldn't be having some of the same beginner mistakes that you had when the game was released. Also with a estimated 9-10 Million + players worldwide, how come we are all still paying $15/month? I understand some sort of fee, but with that many people playing, could you not lower the fee to $5/month, maybe eve $10? I guess we'll never know what the thinking behind the fee is, but we will always know WoW is one of the greatest games of our time and millions of people will continue to play it for years to come.

    Great addition to WoW

Just as with World of Warcraft, the expansion is an awesome game. With add-ons to the Horde and Alliance to even out the imbalance made from paladins and shamans being exclusive, the game becomes more fun for PVP players as well as the role-playing server players. Jewelcrafting in addition to slotted weapons add more personality/uniqueness to the game and items you get. This game is very fun and enjoyable... a must have for anyone who has World of Warcraft.

Now i have to say, i usually don't play online RPGs, but i got hooked on this one. The graphics are amazing, and there are so many different things you can do, the choices are endless. Though i'd have to say that if you play it, be prepared to spend alot of time building up your character, and you can get addicted really easily. But besides that this has got to be one of my most favorite computer games, i'd definatly recommend it to anyone who likes RPGs.

The Burning Crusade: Picks up with the dark portal opened to the realm of Azeroth and leads you to the shattered realm of Outland. Outland is controlled by Illidan the Betrayer and it is your job to take out The Betrayer and free Outland. The story is solid with the quest givers pointing you in the direction of the main goal of the game. The more you level-up the closer the quests seem to relate to the end goal of the game. Overall, the Burning Crusade is well thought out, keeps your attention through the quests, and is rewarding if you ever see the end. I rate The Burning Crusade lore 4 out of 5. Game Play of The Burning Crusade: It is divided into two factions - The Horde and The Alliance. They both have their unique starting zones and leveling areas. The only way to experience the game play of either faction is to make an Alliance and Horde character. You level-up your character, you get spells, you use spells, rinse and repeat. What makes it different from other games in the genre is the movement system and the control of your avatar. This is the closest gamers will ever see to a skilled MMORPG. Overall I rate game play a 5 out of 5. Visuals and Graphics of The Burning Crusade: The visuals are smooth and have their own unique appeal to them. But looking at it from an artist point of view they lose the style from Warcraft and take on an alienistic architecture. Graphically demanding it doesn't require top-of-the-line graphics which makes it accessible to the average gamer and the enthusiast. I rate visuals and graphics 3.5 out of 5. Audio of The Burning Crusade: Audio isn't special. At times it is a repetitive track that switches only when you zone into another area. It sticks to the them of Warcraft but isn't mind-blowing. I rate audio 3 out of 5. Interaction of The Burning Crusade: Is a necessity at times or if you wish to see the ending of the lore. To complete group quests you will need a group to advance in the game. To increase the strength of your character you will need a group of 25 or more players. Going back to World of Warcraft you need 40 players to strengthen your character. The community consists of guilds of 25+ players who seek to reach the end of the game, guilds of levelers trying to level their avatars, and guilds for fun trying to tease the other faction. It is a fun experience, but sometimes it is to reliant on the help of other characters. At times you just want to solo the game. Overall a refreshing experience and helpful atmosphere. I give interaction a 4 out of 5. Rewards of The Burning Crusade: The reward system can only be described as tedious manual labor. The way the game is divided now is arena game play - player vs. player (pvp). Or, people trying to progress to the end of the game - player vs. environment (pve). There are times when it seems the developers don't want you to finish their game. With small rewards being divided amongst 25 people in pve and equivalent rewards being divided between two people in pvp, this loot system doesn't reward players who wish to seek the end-of-the-game which is the harder task. The end-game armor rewards look identical between the pve and pvp armor with only a different color. In the previous World of Warcraft the reward system was based toward players who wanted to see the-end-of-game and gave a rewarding atmosphere. I give rewards a 2 out of 5. Therefore, my overall rating of The Burning Crusade averages 4 out of 5.
