Bought every Collectors edition of WOW Ever made!

I may not be as hardcore into WOW as I was but I will always buy every collectors edition ever made for them. The game is always great and sucks me back in every single expansion! I love the big fancy boxes they come in with all of the extra loot. With today's games that sell collector's editions for over 100, this is a good deal over all. Cant wait to add this box to my WOW library!

WoW is an amazing game and the franchise has gotten a lot of attention this year. Legion brings amazing story, artifact weapons, new combat animations, and features that makes WoW feel fresh again. The collector's edition has amazing perks, such as the artbook, mouse pad, and soundtrack.

Wanted to give some time before posting a review. Now that it has been almost 4 months since Legion's release, I can easily say that it has been a great expansion. I don't feel like I'm struggling to get on this game, I keep wanting to get to keep playing through the content. I have never leveled alts as much I have in this expansion simply to see the different artifact weapons. I don't usually touch the PvP content, but with the artifact skins, and the PvP talent tree and spell changes, it's been a lot more interesting (Sorry to the real PvPers for being the baddy in BG's and Arena). A new raid just came out, and my guild is ready to try tackling it on heroic. It's been a blast!

    A great comeback for WoW

I really enjoyed the questing in the expansion. The storylines are great, but the basic Blizzard concept - good person gets corrupted, turns bad, and you need to kill them. I ran through all of the zones and hit 100 on my mains. But then I'm forced into dungeons, raids, and PVP. Now, I have no problem doing these things myself, but I don't want to be doing them alongside other people that don't want to. The community is a bit of an issue, and unless you're in a tightly knit guild (which I no longer have as they've all moved on from WoW) then you may end up playing with some toxic people. But I can't fault the game for that. If I had any complaint, the time gates on things is real stupid. So I can invest a bunch of currency into something for my hall and get an upgrade? And it takes TWO WEEKS of real time to do that? Huh, sounds like a cash grab to me. "Gonna take a while... better keep that subscription up." Oh well, it lasted me a good two months, which is longer than I stuck around for Pandaland and Warlords.

Legion the Expansion we all needed.

First off I would like to say as a wow player for the past 6 years, I can say that legion is probably the best thing we've had since wrath, I liked Mists and Warlords and Cataclysm weren't the greatest expansions, but Legion makes up for them. First off wielding ancient lore weapons such as Ashbringer and Doomhammer is probably one of the coolest things ever wow has had in its 12 year life AND it lasts the whole expansion since you power that weapon up throughout the whole expansion so its with you for quite some time. 2nd the world quests is a fun new feature that spurs out plenty of quests at level 110 across all zones, consider it kinda like dailies but with better rewards and always something new each day so it doesn't getting boring, and best thing out of it, you can go at your own pace, there is no need for the major rush to get the best gear for raids you can go nicely and easily at your own pace anyway you feel,The only small con I have for the game are the way professions are. Professions are more of a questing to get more recipes instead of buy all the mats your done in 10mins on the ah which is nice change don't get me wrong but some of the quests are more of if you don't got the right profession for the mats which some mats are different from your profession your forced to go the auction house and buy extremely inflated mats right now that will take a while to drop in price to get it, with one quest were you need to have bracers of each 4 major armor styles what are extremely overpriced even though there low quality gear. But with that being said I've really enjoyed Legion I love the Artifact weapons you get, the town halls which are kinda garrisons but better and the amazing world quest system, If your a returning wow player or someone new to the world of warcraft now is a GREAT TIME to get back in or start fresh :)

This is the sixth expansion to the world famous World of Warcraft MMORPG that took the world by storm 12 years ago as of this review. It is a far cry from past expansions, adding a ton more content than what most players are used to. New in the expansion is the Artifact weapon system, in which each playable class gets a specialized weapon for every talent specialization. This also means that there are no weapon drops from dungeons or raid instances. You upgrade these artifacts as you progress and explore throughout Legion. Keep in mind that this is the collector's edition of the expansion, which provides considerable extra content and an in game mount your characters can use!

    The best Warcraft Expansion!

Having been a World of Warcraft player since the very beginning (and owning all Collecters Editions except the first one, stupid me) I can honestly say that this is THE best expansion for WoW Blizzard has ever released. I only reactivated my account because my kids wanted to try it and Im glad they made me change my mind. After the last 2 expansions I was skeptical there would be anything that would make me want to play in WoW any more. They have made changes to the play mechanics which take a little getting used to if you like the previous ones. However the changes are for the better once you experience them. There are a hugh number of intricate story lines that just keep going and going across multiple zones. Finally I have a desire to actually read the quests before accepting them. Unlike the previous expansions there seems to be a depth to the amount of content that makes me want to enjoy the trip rather than simply "get to the end" and be level capped. The ability to choose where I start in the new Broken Isles and how I progress is a refreshing change to the previous expansions that had a mostly fixed zone progression. Thats nice since I can take control and visit zones that suit my characters needs and my interests at the time. Plus Blizzard managed to put in an impressive feel to each of the zones that made me want to stop and look around. I can't say when the last time that happened in WoW but its been a VERY long time. The only down side to this one is that some quest chains require you to visit instances to complete. If you are a casual gamer (or are in a Guild that never does anything together) and hate waiting in the 30+ minute Looking For Group queues then you will not like that change. The wait times seem to be getting longer as fewer players are doing the regular instances and the players who want to level their professions have already done their forced runs. Still this is a relatively small ding against what is definitely a worthwhile expansion pack. I have yet to savor the extra Collectors Editions goodies much. They all are extremely well done and worth the extra cost over the regular version. The caliber of the material is on par with the previous CE versions of WoW Expansions. I VERY rarely score anything the maximum (or minimum) score simply because I rate on a bell curve. It takes real effort to score top or bottom marks in my book. In this case I think Blizzard has definitely gone above and beyond to make Legion a top notch expansion that all WoW players will enjoy.

If you are a WoW fan and enjoy collecting the physical items contained in the collector's editions, Legion's collector's edition is a great addition. Best Buy shipped the item to me a day before the expansion even went live, so I would definitely recommend them if you are like me and want to have your collector's edition in hand for the release day.

This is one of the best expansions that blizzard has put out. I usually start getting bored pretty quickly after a new expansion, but this one has me hanging on. They have been releasing more and more content, and now after what was announced at blizzcon. I am excited and I am sure I will be hooked until next expansion.

Better than Burning Crusade with all the accumulated quality of life improvements and lessons learned put in along the way. Deep story telling and engaging play makes it so that the hardest choice will be whether to stick with one character or split time with more than one.

If you play the game, you'll appreciate this expansion for trying to mix the best parts of past expansions to make this one good. I think they succeeded. Haven't got to any raids yet because I have a life outside the game, so I can't comment on that.

The battle of Alliance and Horde rages on in the latest expansion from Blizzard. The CE comes with in game digital items for all of Blizzards video game franchises. In Heroes of the Storm you get an in-game mount. Starcraft gets you player portraits. Diablo 3 gets you wings and a helm. Hearthstone gets you 3 free packs of classic edition cards. Overwatch, well you get nothing.

First, I would like to mention that I started playing WoW during its Vanilla days. So I've been around to see the high and low on this game. Legion is a beautiful game, no doubt about that. Each zone is different and the graphics have improved again. The problem is the what the developers did to the game mechanics. Developers have been really bad at communicating with the community, making changes that makes no sense, and insulting the player base. Classes have been pruned to the point where it's all homogenized. Professions are useless. Artifacts are time-gated... They're afraid of innovation, just milking WoW for all its worth. If you stopped playing the game at some point, there's no need to return. If you're new to WoW, give it a try. Despite all the flaws, it's still one of the better MMO's out on the market.

I love this expansion. Ran smoothly even on day one. The new raids are awesome, there's more group content, and leveling doesn't feel like a chore. It brought me back after disliking the second half of the last expansion.

Can level thru any new zone in any order. Monsters scale to you. Interesting zones and there was a ton of stuff to do once I hit max level (unlike many other expansions). Like it better than anything else since WotLK.

Having played since Vanilla, I often catch myself wishing that the game was more like it used to be back "in the day." BC was my favorite expansion...until this one. Legion offers a whole new playing style for WoW. It creates various challenges and this expansion really seems to be more about...secrets...than just going out and questing (though there is a fair share of that too). World Quests completely changes the boredom of daily quests and even though you will eventually have done every type of World Quest, you don't have to feel obligated to do them all...every day...or be punished. The artifact story lines and class halls really make you feel like a Champion in the game.

Collectors Edition comes like the previous before, DVD special features, mouse pad, art book, music etc. etc. But the New Legion Expansion is worth the buy. Try it out and see for yourself.
