Been out of the Wow game for 10yrs and coming back I remember the good old days

I've played through all of the expansions and this is probably my favorite.

Person helping me had trouble locating it. My son seems to enjoy the game.

I was a casual player of WOW. With this expansion I completely stopped playing. The leveling system is annoying. The best part of this expansion was the graphics upgrade. I'll probably never play WOW again.

This is probably the best expansion yet for WoW. Love the demon hunter.

More of the same -- nerfed characters and grind, grind grind. I'm sorry I wasted yet more money on this played-out franchise.

this game is nothing like vanilla wow anymore. you literally have 2 or 3 button rotations and the game is severely dumbed down. if you are ok with that then i guess its ok but I dont enjoy casual MMOs.

First I'd like to say this is my first time picking up WoW when I bought the new expansion, so I have no idea what WoW used to be like and can't comment on the nostalgia etc. I played casually about 1 hour a day and maybe 2 hours on the weekend for about 2 months. There's a lot of content for a casual player in this expansion. Daily quests, world quests, etc. Story however was split off in many directions, and although it was clear to figure out which quest was a story quest in the beginning, it begins to branch out where I wasn't sure which is the main story quest I was supposed to be following. So although I understood and liked the story at first, after clearing out the initial story quests for each region and getting the key items from each one, there was no clear way to help me figure out what the next quest for me to take that follows the main story (the adventurer's newbie guide on this was very vague as to what to pursue next). Additionally, getting into a group through the group finder to experience some of the harder/locked content might be rough as a DPS or a terrible tank or healer. I managed since I did pretty high DPS on both AoE and single target (~300k Single Target DPS and high AoE DPS at ilvl 860) as a WindWalker Monk, but if you are a new player who hasn't experienced MMOs before, you might have a rough time with experiencing the fresh content that comes out (I had hardcore raiding experience as DPS in other MMOs previously like FFXIV). Pretty fun game with a ton of small hidden items and rare finds you can get from the open-world. The open world experience was great at release, but I'm not sure as of now how to rate it. What I really enjoyed was that at no times an area was 'dead' or empty in the current expansion zone, really liked the large playerbase WoW has. I would recommend it if you are playing with someone else or if you want a good MMO.

Legion is by far one of the best xpacks that I have seen for wow in a long time. The launch was very smooth compared to previous ones. I was able to play and not worry about lag, mob tagging, disconnections, etc. There were a few hickups but nothing massive like in the past. It felt so seamless that in a way it did not feel like a brand new release. I hit 110 in about 20hrs. By the 31 I was already doing world quests, dungeons, etc and they feel fresh. The world quests could be a little more different that what they are but hopefully more will be added as time goes by, since that seems to be blizzards intentions. The dungeons feel fresh, they have good mechanics and they are fun to play and to go through and I can't wait when Kara is released.
