Not a groundbreaking game by any means but solid in all aspects. I would say that towards the end of the game the difficulty begins to feel "cheap" as opposed to difficult. The game also has too many save or protect the hostage gimmicks this time around which quite honestly kills the fun. The lack of checkpoints can be very frustrating as well. Ince you die or even a hostage dies you have to redo the enitre map all over again. This can take up to 30 to 45 minutes at a time.

This games reminds me more of what it was like playing the original L4D on release with scale in the environments. There are epic hordes and detailed environments. I’m happy with this game and what it delivers.

This game is very good on its own, but this adds 4 new levels and weapons.
