This trilogy is a good buy! Hot Fuzz is by far my favorite in the three because it is *packed* with references throughout-- the most blatant being that it is a satire of cop movies, the main character refutes all the "cop movie cliches" saying they don't happen in real life, then by the end all of the references cliches happen. But it has sooo many subtle references to itself that you can watch it a dozen times and still not catch everything (reusing dialogue, lines that seem throw-away but are clues to other parts of the film). Shaun of the Dead does the same, but I'm not sure if to the same extent. The World's End gets a bit odd because the pace and camera work tries to replicate the increasing stress and drunkenness of the characters (without making you motion sick), so it takes some getting used to.

This "trilogy" (the three movies are not connected narratives, but rather are referred to as a trilogy for their common themes of relationships and a running gag involving fences) of films directed by Edgar Wright are fantastic examples of what British comedy films do so well and what American comedies don't. The movies not only deliver great spoken jokes, but also great visual comedy. Edgar Wright understands so well that cinema is about what's inside the frame and he uses this to his advantage, always blocking to maximize the humor in it. All around each movie is hilariously funny and are first rate examples of excellent story telling.

I'm an aspiring filmmaker and this trilogy gives me all three if edgar wrights visual comedies and also supplies commentary which is very important to me. Unfortunately the Shaun of the dead DVD doesn't have the quentin tarantino interview which is bit of a let down but I can't complain too much.

If you haven't seen these movies shame on you. One of the best comedy collections you will find while delivering great action and storytelling. I would give it more stars if I could.

Great collection for fans of the Edgar wright trilogy. Lots of bonus features and each movie comes on it's own disc loaded with special features. Can't go wrong for $15

I don't think Edgar Wright knows how to make a bad movie. All three of these movies are hilarious, but I believe The World's End is my favorite of the 3.

The three movies are awesome and the best part they come together in one case. Which is nice of your running out of space for your dvd collection.

My son asked for all of these movies for Christmas. I loved the fact that they all 3 came together in a set. Wonderful movies. We love Simon Pegg!!

The trifecta of British humor, story's as outlandish as the characters. A perfect combination to create a hilarious cinematic experience.

A great set of movies. Shaun and Fuzz are laff out loud funny. World's End is the weakest of the three, but still a good watch.

3 awesome films at a great price. What more do you need?

I wanted to buy the Blu-ray set but my local Best Buy couldn't locate it in store, so I opted for the DVDs. I'd never seen World's End before, and I thought it was meh compared to the other two. All DVDs have the standard set of extras and whatnot.

I got these movies for my daughter.. She loves these movies. . and she really Loves Simon Pegg... They are all really funny...

I love these stories, they each have sentimental meaning by who i watched them with, and now i can have all three! Love them!

If you want to see the evolution of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as a movie team, then this is the trilogy for you. All 3 films are entertaining and funny, each in their unique way. In my opinion, this set is shelf-space worthy.
