Finally a new Anthrax album. This album is back to the roots of old school metal with the new sound of todays technology. Its nice to see one of the BIG 4 still around to keep reminding us of how true metal is supposed to sound like!!! \m/

After all the turmoil that was associated with the creation of this album, Anthrax has recorded a masterpiece. The old school thrash crowd will appreciate the return of Joey Belladonna. And the new school metalheads will appreciate the fresh sound and excellent songwriting. Anthrax shows no signs of aging with this album. Fierce guitar riffs, brutal drum work and a fantastic job of singing by Belladonna. Do yourself a favor and buy this album.

Sound quality is exceptional, the singing sounds like old school AnthraX, and the riffs are insane, and as usual Charlie beats the heck out of the drums.

Best thing they have done since Among the Living. Joey sounds so good and the songs are a perfect mix of modern metal and classic thrash. I was not a fan of the Bush era and for the last 7 years or so Anthrax has been a joke (except for the amazing 25th anniversary tour) but this album makes you forgot all the BS. The music speaks for itself and it is great, definitely the best metal album of this year and the type of record Metallica could only dream of making.

    Possibly their best album!

As the summary says, possibly their best album. Certainly the best one since Persistence of Time. Not a knock on the Bush Years, but it is vastly superior to any of those albums.

Good but not their greatest. Joey Belladonna sounds better than expected but the music has the same tone from song to song. Most of my friends like it more than I do. Still worth the buy.
