I didn’t think I needed electric scissors until I tried these — and now I actually look forward to breaking down boxes and tackling awkward cuts. These ZipSnip scissors have taken the grunt work out of everyday cutting tasks around the house. The little motor does all the heavy lifting, slicing through cardboard, plastic packaging, fabric, and paper way easier than my old manual scissors ever did. The rechargeable battery holds its charge surprisingly well, so I’m not constantly hunting for a cord or new batteries, and the self-sharpening blade really seems to stay sharp longer than I expected.

ok, maybe the title is a bit of an exaggeration BUT I have been incredibly impressed with it. I have a similar type attachment for my oscillating multitool but it's never worked that well. I've had my eye on this one for a bit and decided to finally get it when it went on sale recently. This thing does an amazing job not only at cardboard boxes but also those stupid hard plastic shells manufacturers like to put their products in. Historically I've used razors/box cutters but those usually last for 10 or so cuts per side before they lose their edge and stop being effective. This thing slices through all of it reliably, smoothly, and safely. If you need to cut through cardboard on a regular basis, the ZipSnip will easily pay for itself in convenience in a few weeks. Replacement blades are between $3-$6/each depending on where you get them.

I've had this for a while now. Yes, it takes a while to fully charge. I'm not sure how long the charge last because I haven't had to charge it since. I know it's months. It has cut everything I tried to cut, mostly items shipped in plastic bubble bags. I did use it on some boxes to see how well it would cut them(cut the boxes effortlessly). My main reason for purchasing this was because I'm old and a south paw. Scissors aren't generally made for folks like myself.

Great little cutter! Been looking for something like this for awhile. Didn’t want to spend a lot of money on one because I wouldn’t use it often, so I jumped when I got it for $20! Love that it’s cordless. Seems to last a good while. Haven’t used it heavily but so far so good! For $20 it has been worth it!

Love my cardboard cutters. These eat cardboard for breakfast lol. It's also nice to use on blister packages as well. Cuts right through the packaging no problem. The only real con Is the charger takes forever to charge the unit.

This works great on cutting boxes. I get a lot of online deliveries like Amazon and my recycle container fills up fast if I don’t break down boxes. Since my city only picks up recycling every two weeks this has come in handy. Full charge will take care of 15 medium to large boxes easily before needing a quick recharge.

I use this tool mainly to cut down cardboard boxes for the recycling bin. It definitely helps me reduce space taken up by the many cardboard boxes we receive. It works as intended. Sometimes I wish it was a little bit more powerful, but it does the job. I wish it was USB-C charged, so I didn't have to have an extra barrel-type charging cable, but that's not too bad. I got this on a deal, and I would say it was definitely worth it at the discounted price.

Works great for what i needed. I got this to cut up boxes because we get a lot of packages and it has helped to break the boxes down. Works with no issues. I got this while it was on sale at a great price and was worth it. Cant wait to try it out on wrapping paper for christmas.

Excellent little powerful cutting tool. It helps protect my hands while cutting boxes into smaller recyclable sections.

It is just what I needed. Able to make quick work of all the cardboard boxes carrying Christmas gifts. They are now ready to recycle. Also worked great on wrapping paper. Would highly recommend.

This handy tool made cutting wrappin paper this Christmas so much quicker and easier as it just zips through. It also cuts through those awfulnplastic packages easily. I love it!

Pretty convenient and easy to use. It’s a lot of fun to use compared to a box knife so I myself cutting all the cardboard for our recycle bin. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because sometimes I have to force it to continuously change the angle for it to bite down on the cardboard. Sale price was the deciding factor.

Got this on a deal of the day for $19.99. Worth every penny. Just recently moved my mom closer to us so she had quite a bit of cardboard boxes to get rid of. This came in handy to cut boxes into manageable sizes to get rid of.

I like this Worx cutter. It has replaced my scissors for most things & my arthritic hands are thankful. I’ve used it a lot on the first charge, still running strong, It’s a lithium battery(should have good charging for a long time) & Worx brand has a great reputation. Makes cutting fun & found it will even cut cardboard, carpet & plastic bottles. My cuts are far more straight- can see how this will work great for wrapping paper cutting. I believe I paid $25, shipped.

This thing is awesome, I go around cutting everything I can get my hands on. I’ve used this a ton and no issues at all.

The zipsnip works great. Have used it to easily and quickly cut up cardboard. Unfortunately, my wife discovered that it is fabulously for cutting fabric for a sewing project. I lost my zipsnip - but I bought another.

Ignore any bad reviews. It works great as a box cutter and everyday scissors. If you have a basic understanding of it's limitations and can imagine where it would be useful, you will not be disappointed.
