I love my MIP rebot. I bought the rechargeable battery pack from the website. Which is great because it goes through batteries like crazy. The app for the rebot is awesome. I would recommend this rebot to everyone.

Great cute little robot but the main problem is it does not come with a rechargeable battery, it takes four AAA's which wear out fast. Another issue is it topples over easy and does not recognize stairs, it will fall down if it wanders too close.The app is the best way to control the robot in which it will perform alot more commands like follow a map you draw or dance to your own music beats.Overall this robot should cost about 50.00 to be reasonable.

I purchased this for my 6 year old grandson for Christmas. He has enjoyed playing with it so far. It is not perfect, but overall does a pretty good job. I wished that the batteries lasted a little longer or that it came with rechargeable ones. He also enjoys being able to control it from his iPad Mini.

For a small motion controlled robotic toy, great fun. Using the app to control brings it to life. Pretty amazing what the littl MiP can do. Great fun.

My 10 year old saved his money for this robot, it is tough to learn, but only fun for about an hour and he's done with it. He turned if off with new batteries and the next morning it was already running very slow. It should be rechargeable and shouldn't have been released yet without better options on it. Also falls over a lot. Very disappointed he spent so much of his money on it!

I waited for this toy since seeing it at the toy fair. It lives up to the hype. We'll worth the purchase price and will keep adults and children entertained.

I like the robot. It's very interesting and fun to play with. I wish it could pick itself up when it falls over though. Other than that, it's pretty awesome.

I was so happy to see my adult son open and immediately play with this little robot! He was already making plans on how to trick and surprise his friends with it. He also learned to balance and maneuver MiP quickly as he really enjoyed playing with it. As a mother it gets more challenging each year to find the right gift for my adult sons. This one was definitely a hit!!! My only concern is that I've heard it uses up batteries too quickly.

Purchased this for my son and he loves it. He constantly challenges the limits of its carrying and control with his IPad. Enjoys the battle modes with his friends. Great toy.

MiP Rocks!! (Roomba+R2D2+Segway) / 10 = MiP (1/10 Scale Robot) MiP does a lot for the price, using Segway style drive/balance system, has several built in games that show off the technology and features of this novelty Robot. Your dogs will freak out and love it when it is in free roam mode chasing them. When dogs bark MiP freaks out and runs away. Sensors, Mic, LED, Speaker., Segway Drive and Bluetooth connectivity. they packed tons of technology into this little device. MiP also supports Apple and Android phones and Tablets. This allows you to drive MiP like an R/C car. There are more Games built into the app that you can't do without the use of a phone or tablet. That being said it works without it but better if you have it. It uses the latest in Bluetooth which will be known as SMART Bluetooth in ALL devices by 2016. Read below for more on that, MiP uses Bluetooth 4.0LE (Low Energy) a rather new technology, soon to be the new standard under the name SMART Bluetooth on all devices by 2016, but is only found on newer Tablets and phones. There is a list on the website of supported tablets and phones, One last thing although it says ages 8 and up, I would recommend adult supervision and to never use it on a counter or table always the floor.

We bought 2 MiPs for Christmas for our 8 and 11 yr old grandsons. Each MiP has several built-in features, including learning a sequence of actions and dancing to its own music. Adorable sounds! Easy movement on carpeting. Before purchase, we double-checked what devices would be compatible for using the MiP app, because that's what makes it an interesting toy for the 11-yr old grandson. WowWee confirmed Kindle Fire 2015 as compatible. In the Best Buy store, we double-checked with a sales associate, who said this could be loaded via the app store on the Kindle. So we bought the Kindle Fire 2015 devices for the boys to use the app with the robot. FAIL. The Kindle Fire 2015 does not allow downloading the app via the store, as the Best Buy sales associate claimed. And, via Amazon, it can be downloaded but doesn't ever work. Reported this to WowWee (manufacturer). They confirmed that Kindle Fire 2015 doesn't work for this robot; Bluetooth function isn't stable. So buy this robot to work by itself, or with your Google Play functions, iPhone, or iPad. But don't waste your money/time on a Kindle device for it.

This is fun for all ages and is easy to use. However, the batteries don't last long.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my grandson and he had it up and running within minutes and LOVED it!

This is a great product for the whole family. Kids and adults can have fun with this robot, even your pet! I love also how you can control it with your ipad. And you can do many other fun things with the ipad as well. My kids love it, and I'm having a lot of fun with it as well. Battery last long. Degenerate definitely a great toy.

This little robot is wonderful for my 10 year old son (older daughter got the Sphero). Has quite a few built in features to keep him entertained, and if you download the Mip developer edition software you can use it to program this one like you can the more expensive Mip, so he learns basic logic programming. Great way to get them into programming / robotics at an early age. Biggest downside is the battery drain, they eat batteries ... the rechargeable pack from the company is nearly as expensive as the Mip itself. You may want to pickup some decent rechargeables as well when getting this robot.

I bought this for my seven-year-old and while she finds it fun to play with using the iPhone it is very much lacking in the gestures department. We even watched YouTube videos to make it easier to learn but the robot just does not respond appropriately. Also I have to say the biggest disappointment is the battery use. We did not get the rechargeable and this thing eats batteries like no tomorrow. I also tried fully charged rechargeables and it lasted about five minutes and had very low power and slow response. Not impressed

Love this robot and so do both of my boys (7 and 10). So many things to do with it we're only scratching the surface. The only complaint is it should have a battery incorporated in it that you can recharge instead of regular batteries. Definitely invest in rechargeable batteries with this. I have multiple sets so they are always charged and ready to go.

My kids are having a blast with these robots. Very neat interactive toy for the money. Tip: these things are pretty dull unless you download the interactive app on phone or tablet.

My son is 11 and all about his iPad! He loves the Mip and the interaction he can do with it. The only thing I can say is the batteries run out way too fast! But it is still a blast!

This was a birthday gift for my 8 yr old son & he has loved it. It's easy to operate & fun.
