THQ has outdone themselves again with their latest WWE video game titled WWE '12. Gameplay has been drastically improved, making it quite possibly the best that a Wrestling game has ever had; and at the same time making it easy for new players to pick the game up and get right into things. With a Roster of 70+ Wrestlers and over 80+ match types, Revamped Road to WrestleMania Story Mode, and the newly re-done WWE Universe mode where you basically live the lives of the WWE Superstars (as seen on TV)...this is one of the most in-depth video games out there today!

WWE 12 is an improvement over previous THQ wresting games in the series. A lot of the clipping and graphics problems from previous versions have been fixed although some new problems have been introduced. The biggest issue with the game has to do with the online play. The servers have numerous issues. Connecting to a game is very difficult most of the time. Almost impossible to connect to download servers at times. The single player game is very good but not as polished as it could have been. Still overall a must buy for wrestling fans. Lots of options for creating custom content. Story mode is great. Love the graphical improvements. Lots of match options.

I've been playing Smackdown vs. Raw for years and it was always disappointing to see very minor improvements to go along with just a different roster, year after year. WWE 12 changes all that. Unfortunately, the countering system that drove me nuts with WWE All Stars is back in WWE 12. I've had this game for weeks now and I still cannot master countering the A.I.'s attacks (even with the settings set to easy). If you can ignore the frustrations that drive you nuts via the counter system, the game is quite fabulous. If you have surround sound, the sound effects are fantastic as well. Something about the Road to Wrestlemania storylines that can be annoying is that you can be pawning your opponents and all you're really doing is making it to a certain area or point where you can hit 'Y' to trigger a cutscene. So basically, all the punishment you dished out on an A.I. opponent can be all for not due to a pre-made cutscene. But in any case, this is the best wrestling game I've ever played so far. The countering can be frustrating at times, but overall, it's a great game.

I LOVE the fact this is playable at Best Buy before it comes out. I got to play it in a store today and it is fantastic. I have been playing WWE games since No Mercy, and this improvement to the gaming engine is the very best ever. The character models are stunning, the presentation is just like watching it on TV, the finishers are awesome and easy to execute. I preordered so I play as The Rock. Heading back to the store so I can play tomorrow.

Great game, I have the whole series since 2006 and THQ has done a great job every year improving the WWE Video Games. I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of wrestling because it is a blast to play and never gets old.

They finally got all of the components right with this one. If you haven't bought a wrestling game in a while, you should give this one a try. You won't be disappointed.

This game is sick! I can really tell the creators of the gane put a lot of effort in making this game. i get so addicted to this game at night, i play till 1 AM sometimes!!

The kids like it but complain about how some of the characters look. Not as much time was put into the non-main characters. Divas look horrible. The kids like the Road to Wrestlemania story though.

I have been playing the Smackdown Vs. Raw games for a long time and WWE '12 is one of the best WWE Games produced in a long time great story line hopefully THQ and WWE can continue to put out good games like this!

Advertised the Rock but he was only available for pre order. He is not even a downloadable character- super lame. Game play on old-school NES 64 much better than this horrible game. Only wrestling meat heads will enjoy. Save your money.
