This game is more arcade style compared to the prior 2K WWE games. The controls are easy to use. Each wrestler has a different skill set, but you generally play all the wrestlers the same way. The good news is that the game doesn't have that awful lag, like the prior games, which were horrible. The concept of the games is still basically the same, you have a campaign (story mode) and exhibition mode, and you have to win to make money so you can unlock the other wrestlers. I do miss the ring entrances from the prior games, but overall this game is much better compared to the prior 2K WWE games.

If you understand what you’re getting in this package, then you won’t be disappointed. This is 100% an arcade style game. Not as good as the old game WWE All Stars, but cool for some quick fun. Has a good, deep roster, with a lot of WWE legends, but most of it is locked. The good thing is you can just play matches in the game to get game points to unlock the characters, and they aren’t stuck behind a pay wall. My copy came with a code inside to use WWE legend EDGE with it, so that was pretty cool. Overall, A fun party game or good in short bursts for a quick play session here and there.

I'm torn on this one. It's the only decent wrestling game on Switch currently, but it's also a very shallow and repetitive game. It's fun for a short while but then becomes tedious.

I wanted to love this game so much. It’s fun to a point but quickly becomes more of a chore to play. There is only a handful of characters at first you can earn more wrestlers by earning gems through playing the game or through using real life money to buy coins. The catch is if your not connected to the internet you cannot earn gems or experience. Most of the time a message will flash is your internet is disrupted but it’s easy to miss. So being a hardcore wrestling fan with terrible internet connection I’ve spent $100 of my own money to purchase coins to unlock wrestlers. But cash won’t buy you happiness in this game. There is plenty of wrestlers to unlock by playing through the campaign. Guess what the campaign is simple until you reach Brock lesnar then the difficulty jumps from like 3 to 9. It’s tough. I don’t mind a challenge but what I don’t like is spending 3 weeks in the same spot. I’lol fight Brock 4or 5 times then when I get frustrated I leave the game a come back a few days later to try again. Ok I good gamers and sure maybe I’m not good at this game but it should not be that difficult that early in the campaign. Plus I know when I do finally beat Brock I probably won’t get any gems or experience because of poor internet connection. As a WWE game I want to give this 5 stars because I love this games idea. But because of the horrible difficulty curve, the must have internet connection to earn any gems or experience and the fact that due to these other issues you need to use real world money to unlock characters because it takes to long to earn gems. I do not recommend this game.

Overall pretty fun game. First time switch owner so it was an adjustment to get used to coming from an Xbox. Price was right!

Good game for multiplayer and for kids who like WWE. Unlocking wrestlers is a little frustrating but overall good game.
