If you're a fan of old school wrestling-and if you're not, why are you buying a Jerry Lawler dvd?- you have to get this. It has a lot of the stuff he's done since joining the WWF/E like the feuds with Bret Hart and Roddy Piper, stuff they don't even talk about anymore like it never happened but more importantly, it has a lot of matches from his time in Memphis. That's where the legend of Jerry Lawler really began and without that, the set would have been incomplete. I'm glad they did it before the passing of Jackie Fargo. There is no Jerry Lawler without Fargo.

Jerry Lawler: It's Good To Be King, is somewhat based on the book of the same name, published nearly a decade and a half ago. This home video provides a ridiculously large amount of (WWE Oriented) Jerry Lawler content. Also, the viewer will learn more about the life of the WWE Hall of Famer and wrestling legend, including his best moments as well as some of his more embarassing ones. It's a great video and the extra content on the Bluray version of the video is worth it.

Jerry Lawler might be known as a commentator to younger fans, but his legacy spans decades as this WWE blu-ray chronicles so well. Lawler tells his own story with recollections from a host of talking heads, including a weathered looking Vince McMahon. A generous amount of archive footage (including the late, great Andy Kaufman) as well as classic mid-south matches adorn the 2 disc set. Wrestling fans will either have this or need it...simple as that.

Long overdue, this terrific set has a fantastic documentary of Jerry Lawler. Newer fans may be amazed at his long career with great stuff from his feud with Andy Kaufman to dominating Memphis wrestling and the King shares it all with frank and honest talk. It's emotional on his heart attack and the matches are a great selection of his time on the wrestling world. Overall, a set worthy of the King and a must-have for classic wrestling buffs.

This doc on Jerry Lawler is one of WWE's best! Jerry's story pretty much does the work for the team that puts this together and they did a great job. He personally comments and talks about all of the moments in the doc and it is delivered in a story format similar to a movie. Because of this not only wrestling fans will enjoy this, I believe even non wrestling fans who have never heard of Jerry Lawler would enjoy this as well.

This bluray provides an in depth look at the career of Jerry "The King" Lawler. WWE does another fantastic job covering his entire career from his start in Memphis to his current role as a commentator with the company. At less than $10, this was an incredible bargain!

Great doc, good match list. I wish it had the actual footage of his interview with Letterman with Kaufman (even though it's all on Youtube), but it is still a great documentary of a true legend.

i grew up watching mid south wrestling and USWA where Jerry was king. He has always been a favorite of mine even before i ever knew Hogan. To have a set like this is a dream come true.

This an excellent video on Jerry Lawler. It covers his career which has lasted over 40 years. Highly recommended for any wrestling fan young and old.

I have always been a fan of Jerry " The King" Lawler and was excited to get this Blu-ray. I was not disappointed with this purchase at all.

Great compilation, as always, by the WWE. Great retrospective of Lawler's entire career, including his "disagreement" with Andy Kaufman.

Another great home video release by WWE. The documentary part alone is worth the price but the matches are also quality.

This dvd is the first ever documentary and collection for King Jerry Lawler and well worth the wait! Great job by WWE!

I bought this DVD because I'm interested in Memphis wrestling. I like this DVD, but wish it had more features on it like commentaries and more Memphis wrestling matches.
