A fantastic look at a key moment in wrestling

This set contains the first ten episodes of the WWE Network series and does a great job showcasing this battle between WWE and WCW. It goes in depth with various topics (Nitro, the Cruiserweights, Mick Foley, Steve Austin, Goldberg, DX) and great insight not just from those involved but stars today talking about watching it all. It may be a bit slanted to WWE and repeat information over episodes but it does give a lot of credit to WCW for its moves like the cruiserweights and others. Bonus stuff includes key matches and each episode having a sit down between HHH and Sting giving their sides of the events. Overall, a must-have for wrestling fans to relive this amazing moment in history.

Nostalgic and informative, this volume is a fantastic documentary set about several key aspects of the Monday Night War between WCW and WWE. Among those featured in this set are episodes about the NWO, Hall and Nash, Hogan, Shawn Michaels/HHH/DX, and more.
What sets this apart from the series you can see with your WWE Network subscription is the post-episode interviews with Sting and HHH. Their inside knowledge of what was happening both on and off screen add another exciting element to what was arguably the greatest era in professional wrestling.
This is a must-own for any die-hard wrestling fan.

The Monday Wars was a documentary that was originally made for the WWE Network that has been released on Blu-ray and dvd. This is the first 10 episodes of the documentary which has Renee Young interviewing Sting and Triple H after each episode. The documentary went really deep from the WWE and Turner being partners at first until they become adversaries on the Monday Night Wars. It really breaks down the war into bite sized pieces showing you the rise and fall of WCW. It is entertaining to watch and I would recommend it to anyone who likes wrestling and remembers the best time in wrestling.

Since most people who would be interested in this probably already subscribe to the WWE Network where they can watch the entire series as part of their subscription, I'm not sure how well this sold, but I found it to be a worthwhile purchase, just for the extra exclusive content of Sting and Triple H discussing each episode.

The Monday Night Wars were the most fun time period in wrestling, er... sports entertainment history. Performers switching companies, outlandish antics, evolving characters... anything that could've happened just about did. And not knowing what was going to occur next made for exciting television. I miss those days.

If you have WWE Network then you can pass on this DVD. If you do not have the WWE Network this is a must watch DVD. I have WWE Network but I still purchased this DVD. The only issue I have with this is the victor (WWE) gets to tell the story from their point of view (biased).

For an older fan like me, watching the old matches, promos, and clips is just pure fun.
It's got the typical WWE revisionism but not to a distracting degree like a lot of WWE related stuff.
