Phenomenal documentary about Paul Haymen's entire career dating back to being a teenager trying to get into the wrestling business to today. Very in depth, detailed, emotional, informative interview. I've only viewed Disc 1, which is worth the purchase alone. The matches are a bonus. I only wish they included his greatest feat as a Manager/Advocate by including WM30 match where Brock Lesner defeated the Undertakers WM Streak. There was more than enough time from WM to the release of this BR/DVD set to include this history moment on disc 2's list of highlight matches as a manager. Other than that I'd recommend this to any fan of WWE, WCW, ECW, AWA, NWA, ROH, etc. this man is a wrestling genius. And also the Advocate for the Beast Incarnate, BROOOOOOCK LESNER! Eat, Sleep, Suplex Repeat! Eat, Sleep, F-5, Repeat, Eat, Sleep, Conquer John Cena, Repeat!

Ladies and Gentlemen, whether you love him or hate him you have to respect him. This DVD (blu-ray), starts out by taking you back to the young Paul Heyman before he was Paul E. It really gives you a clear picture of his origins, his teachings, why he is the way he is, his early days in AWA/WCW, his time in ECW, his arrival in WWE, booking for Smackdown and of course his evolution into "The one behind the one in 21-1." Of course during all of this you get to hear from people that were along the ride for his amazing journey. I really enjoyed hearing the honest opinions from everyone from Tommy Dreamer to Jim Ross, it's a different and great perspective on all that is Paul Heyman. That being said, I must admit I was a huge original ECW fan. I mostly purchased this to hear some behind the scenes talk and stories that have never been heard before. Without going into spoilers, I got just this. To my surprise they really didn't edit him. Those stories were discussed but I actually enjoyed hearing more about what makes him tick. I don't consider him just a professional wrestling talent but a master marketer. This DVD confirms that, as you also get to see the side projects that he has worked on and just how creative he truly is. He might be a liar, a hustler and quite frankly not a very ethical human being but he is a once in a lifetime talent. I do have a couple of issues with this documentary in all fairness. The first is that Vince McMahon was not interviewed. This was quite disappointing as it would have been nice to have heard the other side of the story. Without going into spoilers there were times that his version of some stories Paul told would have been very insightful. The second issue I have is with Stephanie McMahon. It is quite obvious she is not very fond of Paul but she has no choice but to respect his talent. There are a few quotes from her that just make me shake my head. She just doesn't get Paul and that he is a genius. Bottom line if you are looking for a great behind the scenes life story of a true evil genius in the wrestling industry; this DVD a must buy. This doesn't even include all of the extras which are interview gold. If i'm a wrestling promoter I'm sitting my talent down and making them watch the extras because this man knows how to cut a promo! First off, I'm a Paul Heyman Guy... this was the first WWE blu-ray I've ever bought, I own well over 500 wrestling DVDs, but never bought a Blu-Ray (simply because it would look weird in my collection) BUT, I made an exception for this set. Paul Heyman is 1 of the most captivating figures in wrestling history, a liar, a cheat, a man who would do anything he had to do, to survive in the wrestling business. This story goes in depth on Paul's rise to prominence as 1 of the best managers in wrestling history, his run as the mastermind of ECW, his time spent in the WWE as the advocate of 'the Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar and 'the Best in the World' CM Punk, and so much more, if you're a wrestling fan, you NEED this DVD or Blu-Ray. Bottom line. The Blu-Ray bonus features are what swayed me to buy that instead of the DVD, well worth it!!

This is definitely one of WWE's most creative releases in the history of their home video library. WWE DVDs have mostly become formulaic since many wrestlers either don't reveal too much about themselves on the documentary portion or WWE is careful about how they present them. On this particular DVD, Paul Heyman seems very open revealing very many topics that haven't been talked about much in his career and even his personal life. You hear about his days at Studio 54, how he broke into the wrestling business, his days as Paul E. Dangerously in the AWA and WCW, running ECW, and his contentious relationship with WWE, among other topics. The documentary portion is perhaps the best in WWE's home video library. The extras are different because with Paul Heyman mostly being a manager, or advocate, there aren't many matches. Although, with Disc 2 being entirely promos, it's a great look at how Heyman has progressed as a character throughout the various phases of his career.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, My Name is Paul Heyman" goes behind the scenes, pulls the curtain back, and recalls one of the most infamous journeys of one of the most infamous figures in the history of professional wrestling, Paul Heyman. From his days as a hustling photographer at MSG events to promoting and photographing the action at Studio 54 to his run through Florida, Memphis, AWA, and WCW, to being the mastermind behind ECW, to working for WWE to being fired by WWE to returning to WWE to be the one behind the one in twenty-one and one, you'll be gripped to your screen for the full two hours as the evil genius himself, Paul Heyman, tells his story. One of the best, if not the best, WWE documentaries in history.

WWE has a great track record with their documentaries, and this isn't an exaggeration to say this is one of the best. It's not a fluff piece, but it's not a burial. The comments are candid from all parties and Paul Heyman is a treat to listen to. He has a great story, and he is a great storyteller both in and out of the ring. The blu ray has a great assortment of extras that will take days to get through. I highly recommend this for any fans of pro wrestling.

Im a HUGE WWE Fan in general and Paul Heyman is literally one of the greatest managers of all time. When I heard this was being released i couldn't wait for it to come out. As a Paul Heyman fan from his ECW days it makes you wonder what exactly went wrong with ECW as a product and this story told everything beginning to now of Paul Heymans career. I definitely recommend this product if you want to know more about him not only as a manager but as a person!

I was always a fan of ECW and Paul Heyman has arguably been the best /most entertaining character on wwe tv in the past few years. This dvd/blu ray continued Heymans recent hot streak of great television. Its a must have for any wrestling fan. It spans from his time as a teenager getting into Madison Square Garden, taking photos at ringside, to WCW, to ECW, getting fired from the WWE, getting rehired, and to where he is now. Heyman has truly had a interesting journey and its very enjoyable to go along for the ride.

Even if you're not a "Paul Heyman Guy" this blu ray is by far one of my favorites. WWE has gotten a lot better with there blu rays. CM Punk, Mick Foley, Edge and now Paul Heyman is just a short list of how well they been doing with their blu ray choices. Paul Heyman is a pure genus in the mic and is the best thing to ever happen to pro wrestling. You will not be disappointed and the extras are just a good. So get some popcorn turn off your phone, sit back and enjoy.

For anyone looking to learn more about the man who has spent decades in the wrestling business I recommend this DVD in the highest regard. You'll learn about his days as a photographer for the WWWF, his days as a manager in Florida, the AWA & WCW, of course his days of running ECW & his present role in WWE. His take on WWE's version of ECW was eye opening to say the least. You'll also hear comments from many of his peers in the wrestling business too.

A must-have for any wrestling fan, a terrific look at Paul Heyman's life as he's outspoken on his rise in the business, terrific insight to his career and tons of clips of WCW, AWA, ECW and more. With more folks chiming in to praise him and also note his flaws, it's a great set of the story only Heyman could tell. Throw in slews of extras like classic promos and such and it's a must-have for any wrestling fan to see a true mad genius at work.

Paul Heyman is one of the best minds and managers in wrestling history. This release highlights what Paul does best (promos) and gives background into his start in the wrestling business. The DVD is heavy on WWE and ECW which makes sense, but Paul also had an impact on WCW and AWA that could have been covered a little more. Overall it's one of the best DVD's that WWE has ever produced.

This is an amazingly produced WWE doc that tells the life story of one mr Paul heyman. It doesn't pull any punches as it's pretty honest regarding both his strengths and shortcomings. Lots of great interviews and a wealth of promos throughout his career. Only negative would be seemingly limited BLU Ray print run as it was near impossible to find after initial release.

As a long time wrestling fan, I have always enjoyed Paul E.'s work. This retrospective look into his career provides great insight into the mind of, arguably, one of the best talents to ever work in the pro wrestling industry. If you were a fan of his work in WCW, ECW, or his current run in WWE, you owe it to yourself to buy this dvd.

The perfect story of a wrestling fan who never had the size, never had the skill but was DETERMINED to make it in pro wrestling and crawled and snuck and weaseled his way into being one of the most influential men in wrestling's history....amazing stuff!!!

if you love WWE, or ECW, then you will love this documentary. He goes in to Paul Heyman entire history in the wrestling business. You get everything Paul Heyman has done at the store is behind everything he did. this maybe WWE best video ever.I would recommend this to any pro wrestling fan!

One of the most hated personalities in the history of professional wrestling, but after watching this dare I say respected. This a man that has such a passion for the business that he literally lied his way in. Awesome documentary plus hours of promos, a must own for any fan.

WWE has been knocking it out of the park with some stellar Blu-Ray documentaries. If you especially enjoyed their CM Punk one, you need to pick up the Paul Heyman one. I would have happily sat through several more hours of his stories. How about a sequel to this, WWE?

Paul Heyman tends to have a polarizing reception with wrestlers and fans alike. I am one of those people that loves his work. This Blu-Ray chronicles his past in WCW and running ECW. Plus, you get to hear from people such as Raven and Brock Lesnar.
