Had a lot of information behind the scenes regarding the rise and fall of wcw however I think that wwe purposely left out some information that led to wcws downfall such as starcade 97

I grew up watching wrestling and whether it's real or scripted isn't the issue for me. I love the cast of characters and the valuable storylines of wrestling from the 80's, 90's, and early 00's. The Rise and Fall of WCW is a part of wrestling history that can never be forgotten nor replaced. Will be watching this tonight with my husband (wrestling fan too) eating pizza and reminiscing about our glory days gone by.

I grew up watching WCW and thought this documentary was very well made! It gives a good behind the scenes look at what caused the success and failure of the NWA and WCW! Worth the watch it you were a fan of either group!

    Where is Sting?

Overall I really liked this look at what was at one time one of the top wrestling organizations. I was a big fan of WCW during the NWO era. In fact, I had quit watching wrestling then got back into it when Nitro was on. What I think is a huge hole in the history is the Sting/NWO feud. Maybe there are some legal issues tied to Sting's character still being in TNA or maybe McMahon just doesn't want to shine a light on him since he never worked for McMahon. Either way, that feud was a huge reason for me to watch the show week after week. I was really looking forward to seeing some of this in the DVD package. That by far is my biggest disappointment.

This is a pretty cool and informative documentary. I was wanting some matches which were not included. This is a one disc version so on the three disc version there are probably matches as extras.

Best price. The video was indepth. Detailed to the "t". Very informative. And just plain exciting. Classic matches for the die hard old school wrestling fan.
