Exasperating BestBuy support for defective laptop

Bought this laptop from BestBuy online. Did not use without the power cord until 21 days after purchase; 14 days after delivery. Wouldn't work without it. Took it back to BestBuy 16 days after delivery because it's almost an hour away. When Geek Squad guys tried to diagnose it, the battery fell completely out. I understand factory errors, but the most exasperating issue is that BestBuy would not replace or refund. I have to send back to Acer hoping for warranty repair. Shame on BestBuy.
