1st one had a damaged screen flickerd alot exchanged and lot better feels good and looks geatt rbg lighting is sweet down side is games like miceosoft flight 2024 you have to program your own presets and thats Tough..i have srar citizen i i thing i can download settings feom turtle beach.

This set feels VERY premium. A nice grippy material on the stick and throttle. More than enough buttons to handle about any keybinding you would need for any flight sim. Also works great with space sims! The RGB is very nice as well, though I would have liked a little more compatibility with other products, or at the very least an improvement on the software to allow more customization. However, it is still very nice. The software is not bad either. Customizable buttons and switches everywhere. Profile switching as well I do like the ability to change certain setting on the fly using the screens built into the sticks. Helpful to change certain elements without having to open the software. Also able to be used individually since both have Usb-C cables, though you do have to use 2 ports to use both. Overall great value for the price without moving to top tier equipment. Definitely recommend for any flight/space sim player looking for added immersion.

No regrets the bases are heavy they don’t move on your desk it’s a little hard to map all buttons most simmers will learn quick! Throttle is super smooth so far I like.

DESIGN: The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightdeck is a well-designed piece of hardware that impresses right out of the box. The flight stick and throttle mechanism are both solid and robust, featuring a soft suede-like material on the controls that feels fantastic initially. However, this material may wear down quickly over time, which is something to consider for long-term use. The inclusion of two OLED screens on the device enhances the high-end feel, providing essential in-game metrics and customizable themes. SETUP: Setting up the VelocityOne Flightdeck using the Turtle Beach Flight Hangar app is a breeze. Assembling the flight stick is straightforward, involving a simple plastic screw that can be tightened by hand. Updating firmware and UI information using the app makes it a painless experience. Initially, the integration with Microsoft Flight Simulator was nearly unusable. But with the release of MSFS Sim15, it's almost plug-and-play. Connecting the unit via USB is straightforward, and Windows recognizes it immediately. For Microsoft Flight Simulator users, simply putting the deck and stick in flight mode is all it takes to get started, making the initial setup process seamless and user-friendly. While the stick is plug-and-play, it also offers full customization and may need some work to tailor it for each individual aircraft available in the game. The proprietary software from Turtle Beach, called VelocityOne Flight Hangar, plays a crucial role in the setup process. This software allows users to update firmware, UI firmware, and create custom layouts. The customization options are extensive, allowing for a maximum of three pages of fully custom touch screen controls. Additionally, users can control most of the backlight RGBs and remap them to something else entirely, providing a highly personalized experience. PERFORMANCE: The VelocityOne Flightdeck delivers a highly responsive and immersive experience. The tactile feedback from the controls is excellent, providing precise and smooth in-game reactions. The on-screen display of the thruster is well-made and highly responsive, significantly enhancing the overall simulation experience. The immediate feedback from the flight stick and throttle mechanism makes it feel like you're truly piloting an aircraft. The Top Gun Maverick challenges in MSFS felt exceptionally smooth, with the flight deck providing a realistic sense of wind resistance against the airframe. FEATURES: This flight deck boasts an impressive array of features. The two OLED screens provide access to virtual switches, haptic detent controls, and customizable themes. With 139 programmable buttons and switches, the VelocityOne offers extensive customization options, allowing users to tailor their setup to their specific needs. Additionally, the inclusion of a headphone jack on the flight stick is a thoughtful touch, enabling users to connect their headphones comfortably and fully immerse themselves in the simulation. The throttle is very smooth, offering enough force feedback to feel authentic rather than free-floating and clicking into position. It holds its position well at any setting. BUILD QUALITY: The build quality of the VelocityOne Flightdeck is commendable. The flight stick and throttle mechanism feel sturdy and well-constructed, ensuring durability and reliability during use. However, some of the switches and buttons on the flight stick could feel more premium, as they come off a bit plasticky and might be prone to wear over time. Cleaning the device might be challenging due to the many moving parts, cracks, and crevices. Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall performance and functionality of the unit are exceptional. CONCLUSION: The Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightdeck is a standout product for flight simulation enthusiasts. The recent updates have significantly improved the integration with Microsoft Flight Simulator, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a high-quality, immersive experience right out of the box. Notably, the Sim15 update has enhanced the device's compatibility, ensuring smoother interaction and more reliable performance with Microsoft Flight Simulator. The extension of the Top Gun content in MSFS was particularly enjoyable during this review, adding to the plug-and-play feel of the VelocityOne Flightdeck. This makes the VelocityOne Flightdeck even more valuable for sim enthusiasts, as the improved stability and responsiveness directly enhance the overall gaming experience. At its current price, it feels like a bargain, offering a level of immersion and control that is hard to replicate with other peripherals. TEST SYSTEM SPECIFICATIONS: For those interested in the hardware used to test the Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flightdeck, here are the specifications of the system: CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H100i ELITE Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX B550-F Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 64 GB (4 x 16 GB) DDR4-4000 Storage: Toshiba X300 8 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM Internal Hard Drive Samsung 870 QVO 2 TB 2.5" SSD Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD Video Card: Asus ROG STRIX GAMING OC GeForce RTX 4090 Case: HYTE Y60 ATX Power Supply: Corsair RM1000x 1000 W 80+ Gold

I purchased this flight deck because I liked the look and the wide range of applications. The price was fair in this category for a HOTUS setup. It feels premium and the lights are cool. The stick has some sensitivity issues where slight movements are not registering making fine adjustments while flying difficult. Unfortunately, the touch screen has gone bad and the display is distorted. Playing last night, the stick kept disconnecting and reconnecting. I have not even had it a month. To spend this much and have it bug out this way is very disappointing. I would look elsewhere for a HOTUS.

At 3 weeks old and only a handful of hours using the stick the stick just stopped working the last time I went to use it. The base lights up but stick is dead. After troubleshooting I also noticed the b15 button which I have not used is half depressed and will not pop up all the way and is lop sided. Not a good start on a 400 dollar kit that is doa after a few hours of use. I submitted a ticket and I will see where that goes.

Turtle Beach really jumped in headfirst and went balls to the wall (aviation reference) with the VelocityOne HOTAS. While the system is not perfect, I think it is exactly what Turtle Beach users would expect. Lots of lights, extra buttons, and customization. The Flight Simulation System is initially very impressive. Set-up is an absolute breeze and the excessive number of dials, switches, buttons, and even screens is absolutely eye catching - and perhaps a bit distracting. At first the quality seems solid and with all of the RGB options and the flash, flair, bells and whistles - it takes a while to notice that there are a few flaws. There is an overwhelming number of buttons to learn and keep track of. Some would say that "less is more", but Turtle Beach definitely does not agree as every single finger sits near a trigger, dial, lever, button, or knob - both physical and virtual. It is certainly nice to have the option of customizing each button and screen, but it may be overwhelming to newcomers and ultimately, I think that the success of the VelocityOne Flightdeck will come down to how much support that Turtle Beach offers. Customization is nice, but programming all of these buttons can take literal hours. Turtle Beach really needs to make more presets available so that this HOTAS System can truly be utilized by more than just those interested in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Both the stick and throttle have a good solid weight, but I find that they do still slide around my desk unless I remember to press down onto the surface while I manipulate the controls. The base of each half does have pre-drilled holes to provide more permanent mounting options, but it would have been nice if they had used a more grippy rubber on the base to ensure the controls stay in place. The flight touch display is cool, but the screen is incredibly laggy. This isn't a huge issue as flights don't often require moving between screens, but the lag is distracting. Having a screen instead of even more physical buttons may be appreciated by some, but I don't like that I have to look over towards the throttle to find the button I need (since there is no tactile feedback). The whole system, both stick and throttle are only designed for those who are right handed. Lefties will be able to use the basic functions of the throttle and flight stick, but they will not be able to reach many of the buttons, thumbsticks, dials, etc. The buttons that sit below the stick are quite spongey and need to be pressed directly in the center - which can be tough to remember in a dogfight - or when simply trying to remember the function of every tool at your disposal. B14 is a larger button, but unless it is pressed exactly in the center, no action is registered making the larger size pointless and rather frustrating. The Fire Button on the stick can be used as an optical mouse (with the flip of a switch), but it is very difficult to be precise. It would make much more sense to have once of the many thumb sticks - or even the main flight stick function as the mouse when the dial is flipped. The seem to have selected the least helpful/useful option. Also a huge failure is that the VelocityOne is not compatible with the Xbox. What a missed opportunity. While the VelocityOne takes a while to learn, I do feel as though the customization and the quality do justify the price point - although more experienced flight enthusiasts would probably suggest saving up and spending even more (on something like the Thurstmaster HOTAS Warthog). I think that Turtle Beach has hit a sweet spot and gamers can be confident that the VelocityOne can literally do it all...though it may take some tweeking.

As an avid sim user I was really looking forward to the Turtle beach Velocity One Flightdeck. This HOTAS screams premium when you unbox it and just looks amazing. My game of choice was Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th. I will start off and say with Update 15 this is a true plug and play solution. You can manually map the buttons if you wish to, but it’s not needed as all 32 buttons are assigned and feels natural in the way they were mapped out. To the hardware! The throttle is an amazing piece of technology as it has an lcd screen that’s touch and has multiple button configurations to suit the aircraft that you are using. As you see in my photos I tested out several air craft, Cessna, Fighter Jet and even tried the Commercial Airliner. By using the Turtlebeach App you can quickly change the button theme on the screen that suits the aircraft. Truly creates an immersive experience. The main stick has ample feedback and tension that creates a very realistic experience while flying. I enjoyed how light of touch was needed to actually maneuver the aircraft. The overall experience with the controls gave an immediate immersive feel while also feeling not overwhelmed. This is in part to how well that Turtlebeach layed out the controls making it very ergonomic and non cumbersome. Overall if you are a in the market for a premium plug and play solution for your flight sim- the Turtlebeach Velocity Flightdeck won’t disappoint!

Overall, this is a very high-end HOTAS or Hands on Throttle and Stick setup. Features include 139 customizable buttons, Hall-Effect on the max axis, profile storage so you can save different control schemes. There is an app you can download from the windows store (Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight Hangar), which will run you through some firmware updates, so make sure you download and install. I was able to utilize the MSFS Sim Update 15 beta (full production build out in April, so very soon), and tested out the rig in MS Flight Simulator. Only adjusting a few buttons, I had zero issues playing MSFS. The stick and throttle are well built and heavy enough for my liking (Too light, and rigs move, which sucks). There are tons of customizable RGB lights, adjustable stick height, easy to pick up and go with sticks being able to be removed, and this can be mounted as well. I would say this is the best HOTAS device I have used, and it will only get better. I really enjoy the OLED heads up display (it makes it feel more immersive, in my opinion). Knock out of the park by Turtle Beach!

What makes this product great can also be over whelming. The sheer amount of button on this thing is more than I can keep track of in my head. I don’t use it every day, but I use it for dcs and Star citizen. The button mapping can take a bit but I found a free pdf online that lets you put in your mappings. The software is okay but I don’t have to touch it much. I enjoy the customization of the led zones, and I enjoy having separate profiles I can load in. The build quality seems to be really good despite the reviews. I can feel that the caps on the switches would come off but you have to try to pull them hard to even make them budge. Is it worth the price compared to other options? For right now I think so. Currently any other higher end option will requires a lot of import fees and taxes that will add 1/3 to the cost overall. Since this is just buy it online or in store, it’s pretty straight forward. I don’t like many turtle beach products, but this feels good and it looks very good on my desk. Plan for the space though as it is very big from what I was expecting. I am coming from dual Logitech x3d sticks. Which replaced my x52 after that got bricked. So I have had been up and down the spectrum on hotas and hosas. The only real bummer is while it is supported it doesn’t have default profiles without going to the internet to grab them for specific games. I was expecting war thunder to have a preset but nothing. I didn’t have time to try to set it up for the bf6 beta but I am sure it will feel nice flying even in that game with this. Just like any real enthusiast or higher end device it takes tinkering and figuring out what you like. So if you are impatient then this is not the device for you. If you are okay with taking an hour or two to figure out the bindings you want then this a strong contender.

This is next level. Right out of the box, I was/am impressed with the Flightdeck. Extremely well built with all parts and pieces exuding quality. Once plugged in, and lit up in all its glory, the immersive experience that once came before, only deepened. For reference, my game of choice is Microsoft Flight Simulator 40th. I can confirm, the Flightdeck is plug and play, and I was in the air within minutes. The resistance of the throttle and the stick are just right for my taste. All the buttons/switches have excellent tactile responses with all the "clicks" one could ask for. Throw in the force feedback and wow, it's next level. The customization is almost overwhelming. Whatever you need to add and switch, you got it. There is zero chance of running out of configuration options. I was usually limited and would need to involve other peripherals to extend commands. All I need is the keyboard and mouse for set-up, and once in flight, all hands on deck. So far the app has been flawless. It immediately connects and syncs my last configuration upon connecting. In addition, I can use my tablet via Bluetooth and add another set of buttons. I included a picture below. Once again, extra immersion! Another small but mighty detail is the independent headset jack. I have a Woojer vest, and daisy chain it to the flight stick and headphones, and can enjoy an more in-tune audio experience. Loving it! Turtle Beach really threw the kitchen sink at this HOTAS outing and I can appreciate all the nooks and crannies I continue to discover while using it. If you're looking for deep immersion and deep customization, this is it!

Over all, a great HOTAS. They feel premuum and work very well in Star Citizen. I prefer these over my VKBs and my Warthawg. Love the customization and how easy they are to get setup.

This is a good overall product. I would say to get the most out of this product you need to take the time to set it up properly. The native assignments in MSFS are just okay. The app from turtle beach to further customize the device does take time to properly learn. If yo are going to use every button on this device and the screens, it is a good buy. If you are not going to use the screens, save your money and buy something else.

I using it to play an old game from the windows ME days but after downloading the software and setting it up this flight stick works great. I love the customization features and its comfortable to use.

This many not be the absolute best at anything in particular, but it is very good at everything. So much customization, and so many programmable switches, buttons, and knobs it's crazy. The throttles can be independently moved with a button press, and the tension on the stick is perfect for my personal needs. If you need a setup that can do it all, then this is the one you need, hands down.

This thing rocks. It's an amazing piece for any flight setup. Customizable and feels good to play with.

This hotas feels absolutely amazing at this price range, turtle beach used to kind of be a joke, but over the past year or so it really feels like they started striving to reclaim their fame as a premium peripheral manufacturer...have recently purchased the stealth ultra controller, flight stick, stealth pro headset and the flight deck hotas...and all are well above their price point in ergonomics, features, innovations and general build quality...I would strongly recommend the velocity one ecosystem to anyone

I had to leave review for this because there is so much hate for this HOTAS online. Read a lot of reviews online before buying, which almost made me pass but took the chance and couldn't be happier. Overall fit and finish is great. Heavy bases so it doesn't move or need to be clamped, grippy high tech feel, proper button mechanics, and tons of physical buttons and dials for bindings which makes it very nice for space sim games as well. Have over 100 hours on this and haven't had a single issue or signs of wear. Hope this continues for years to come and heard turtle beach warranty claims aren't bad either. I am very happy with purchase.

Very impressed with the VelocityOne Flightdeck. The joystick and throttle feel solid and well built, the controls are responsive, and there are plenty of buttons and customization options. Setup on Windows was straightforward, and it makes flight simulators much more immersive. Overall, an excellent flight control system and I’m very happy with the purchase.

This is a great HOTAS for custimization, with so many buttons you wont know what to do with them all. Ran great on star citizen, with the LED screen you can put alot of your less important binds to just a digital button press.
