I am obsessed with this Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer. I’ve been using it regularly since October 2025, and it has held up great. The flip-up design is a total game changer . it saves so much counter space when not in use, which I really appreciate. It heats quickly, cooks evenly, and does everything I need from air frying to toasting and baking. I use it daily for both my own meals and dog meal prep, which has been incredibly convenient. Cleanup is super easy, which honestly makes me use it even more. The sleek gray design looks great on my counter, and it feels solid and well-made. This appliance has quickly become one of my most-used kitchen tools. Highly recommend if you want versatility, space-saving design, and convenience all in one. Worth every penny!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars I have been very impressed with the Ninja Flip Toaster Air Fryer. The design is sleek, modern, and incredibly practical. One of my favorite features is how simple it is to use. The controls are straightforward, and it doesn’t take long to learn all of the functions. What really sets this model apart for me is the sear plate design. Unlike some other air fryers, the sear plate doesn’t sit down in the grates, making it much easier to remove, clean, and work with overall. The flip-up feature is also a great space saver, especially if you want to maximize counter space when it’s not in use. I liked it so much that I ended up buying two—one for each of my homes. It’s been reliable, easy to clean, and does an excellent job whether I’m toasting, air frying, or reheating food. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a versatile and user-friendly countertop appliance.

This Ninja Toaster Oven/Air Fryer is perfect for my tight kitchen counter. The appliance is a little bulky while using it because you have to flip it down, but once you finish cooking, just flip it up and you don’t know that the appliance is there. It is nicely sitting quietly in the corner of my kitchen countertop. Also, it is simple and easy to operate. The price is affordable.

I love, love this Air Fryer! It's very user friendly. Very quiet, and preheats in about a minute. I have used the toaster and it's toast perfectly. Fish fillets come cook perfectly! I use this Air Fryer everyday! You can select the darkness of your toast. Very easy to clean up. . I love that it flips up and stows away to save so much counter space. I have recommended this Air Fryer to all my family & friends.

I absolutely LOVE this toaster oven. The functions are so easy to use, the oven bakes, toasts and air fries extremely well. This made it so I remove three small appliances from the kitchen and replaced with this. It is so easy to clean the interior and the racks. The racks store inside the toaster, keeping everything contained and handy. Air Frier is the best I've owned - never dries out food and cooks perfectly with instructions on rebought foods with Air Fryer instructions.

I like how versatile it is with different settings. It works great too. Flipping is pretty awkward though and the depth or lack of depth makes it inconvenient.

This is the perfect addition to my kitchen. I do a lot of cooking, and already had an air fryer, but decided I needed something with more features. I love Ninja products, I own a few, and this one does not disappoint! First, I needed something that was not bulky. This one is shorter in height and doesn’t take a lot of space. You have the feature to flip it in order to create more counter space. I can air fry larger amounts of food that n my previous air fryer. I can roast, bake, broil, and more. I am extremely happy to have found this product and highly recommend it.

Bought this air fryer Dec 10th 2025 .. tried to use it this morning, april 5th 2026 and it would not work. Error code 2. Googled this and it is more than likely a thermal sensor fault. A death sentence for an air fryer. What a piece of junk. First and last Ninja product I buy. My cuisenart lasted 4+ years.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re disappointed to hear your Flip Toaster showed an error code and wouldn’t operate when you went to use it, despite being purchased only a few months ago. We understand how frustrating and disappointing this must be, particularly when you were expecting the reliability you’ve had with other brands. This isn’t our usual standard, and we’d really like the opportunity to make this right. For further assistance and to explore available options, please contact our Ninja customer support team at 1‑800‑365‑0135, available Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. Our team will be happy to take a closer look and help.
Kind Regards,

The Ninja Flip Toaster Oven & Air Fryer is a versatile and stylish multi-functional toaster oven and more...I only had it for about a week, so I didn’t have that much time to try all its features thoroughly but enough to appreciate a great toaster oven that does it all - roast, broil, bake, pizza, toast, bagel, air-fry and even dehydrate. Overall build quality is decent, though the outer sheet metal feels kind of thin and can bend in and out. Despite being well packed in form-fitting styrofoam and double box, mine has a ding on the top panel towards the back. The stainless steel finish is very stylish, modern looking, and the control panel is well laid out and intuitive. Moreover there is also an interior light that can be turned on and off to check on your food progress, and it also automatically turns on about 20 seconds before cooking time is over - a very nice touch. Ninja was brilliantly able to cram so much technology in quite a compact package, and the ingenious idea to “flip” it up and out of the way to give back countertop space when not in-use. The OvenCrisp Technology works as advertised with internal fans that circulate the hot air at variable speeds to provide faster, more even cooking and crisping. My bread toast and bagels come out just right every morning. I would recommend turning down the shade setting one notch on your first try just to make sure you don’t over-toast until you get a better feel for it. I’ve also cooked some frozen sweet french fries and came out great, better than some restaurant fries and only took 20 minutes. I also cooked some Salmon lightly dipped in egg/flour and Panco bread crumbs and it came out great, cooked at 350 F in 10 minutes. It would have taken a lot longer to preheat the range oven and cook the same fish, and would have consumed a lot more electricity in the process. Even when toasting bagels the outer panels will get hot to the touch, so do leave enough space all around for airflow and cooling, especially when using the broiler/air fryer oven functions, the sides and back will get very hot to the touch. This Ninja will display “Hot” for a while it’s cooling, then will display “FLIP”, when it’s cooled down enough for you to flip it up on its back for more countertop space. All in all, if you don’t mind frying smaller portions than you would in a full-size oven and want to get it done more quickly, less greasy and with less energy consumption and more countertop space when you’re done, this Ninja could be a great addition to your kitchen.

– OVERVIEW– The Ninja Flip Toaster Oven and Air Fryer is quite simply a very effective, space-saving air fryer. It can air fry, roast, broil, bake (cookies), (bake) pizza, and even dehydrate. It comes supplied with, from top to bottom: air fry basket, sheet pan, wire rack, and a crumb tray. Each one of these options can be seen on the front of the unit so there’s really no confusion on what you’re trying to achieve. What’s unique about this air fryer is that you’re able to stand it up after use to free up some much needed counter space. Air fryers today are large and bulky; this tries to solve that problem at the expense of a little bit of air frying real estate. But don’t let the size fool you as it can get many jobs done. – LOOK/FEEL – The entire unit is made of brushed aluminum; be careful to not ding it on the top or sides! The front panel sports a viewing glass so you can see how your food is doing, and it even has a nice light to illuminate the cabin. The buttons are all analog push buttons, so none of that touch capacitive stuff here, and the buttons themselves are made out of aluminum. You’ve got mode, temp, time, start/stop and a light button. Very simple. The only exception to the names on the buttons are when you’re making toast; Temp becomes shade level, and Time becomes # of slices to be toasted. All this information is seen on the Time and Temperature Display. The unit will also tell you when it’s PREheating, when it’s HOT to the touch, and when it’s ready to be FLIPed. – SETUP – Setup is quite simple and depends on what you’re cooking. The wire rack is a mandatory install and the basis for placing the sheet pan and ultimately the fry basket. Ninja includes a very straightforward manual that explains each mode and what accessory needs to be installed. For instance, pizza would only require the wire rack, broiling would entail the addition of the sheet pan, and french fries would be all three (wire rack, then sheet pan (optional), then fry basket). The Flip is about a 13”x13” space, with about 4-5 inches of head clearance. – PERFORMANCE – Because of its smaller dimensions, cooking is actually much more thorough as it is able to move hot air easier than a much larger unit. Upon use, I’ve learned that some things cook much faster on the Flip than my much larger air fryer. With all air fryers, going through a few trial runs will help you narrow down the optimal temperatures for cooking. I’ve done wings, fries, chicken nuggets, pizza and even toast. I trusted the units’ modes and just watched the food cook occasionally (Ninja suggests you do this as you get used to using it). Obviously some modes will cycle the fan on, and some modes will be whisper quiet. Overall, the unit is very quiet. Food is cooked evenly and comes out very crisp. – GOTCHAS – As I mentioned above, with each accessory inserted into the air fryer, the headroom diminishes. It’s clear when you look at photos with the fry basket in place. So keep that in mind if you’re looking to air fry types of foods that are taller in nature. The popular foods such as fries and party wings are able to clear the roof just fine. – CONCLUSION – I’m extremely happy with the Ninja Flip; I just realized that not only does it save space on my counter, it also replaces my dedicated toaster oven. There's plenty of space for the family for their favorite foods and cleaning up is a breeze (I just throw the basket and sheet pan into the dishwasher). Ninja provides some starter recipes to help those new to the air fryer market get a good feel for how an air fryer works and to maximize its potential in your home.

The Ninja Flip Toaster Oven and Air Fryer is a super versatile appliance that can take the place of several appliances with a small slim footprint. In addition to the included detailed owners guide there is a color tri-fold reference that I found to be the most helpful. It outlines for each function what types of food it is for, which accessories to use and some best practices. On the back side there is an awesome cooking chart to help with temperature and time settings for different food types. Start with the toaster. This thing will toast up to 6 slices of bread or 2 large bagels with ease. I did have to do a little experimentation to determine the optimal shade settings to crisp things to my liking as the shade settings did really correspond exactly to what I was used to with our old toaster. I found that a setting of 3-4 out of 7 was the sweet spot. The air fry feature works awesome for French fries which I make a lot. I have the best success with just the basket. If you have food that might drip a little like wings, I recommend using the sheet pan to catch the drippings. Air roast works for thick meats and fresh veggies. The broil feature works every bit as good as my oven with a much quicker heat up time. I baked some canned dinner roles, and they turned out perfectly. The pizza mode is like the bake mode but with some moderate air flow, so it works like a regular convection oven but again with a faster preheat. I have not tried the dehydrate feature yet but would like to soon. The accessories are easy to clean, and the crumb tray catches most of the crumbles that fall through the basket and rack so you can keep the bottom inside of the unit clean. The owners guide an everyday and deep cleaning routine. The tray and rack are hand-wash only while the other pieces are hand-wash recommended. Controls are well laid out and easy to navigate without having to refer to the instructions. Toast settings are 1-6 pieces and shade 1-7. Time can be set from 1-59 minutes and temperature range is from 250-450. There is a button to toggle the light on/off and it will also come on automatically for the last 30 seconds. The front panel will also let you know when the unit is still hot to touch and will also tell you when it is cooled off and safe to flip up into the vertical storage position. If you do want to store your unit, vertically be aware that you must leave it plugged in after using it and wait until it says flip before storing. I found that it can take quite a while especially if cooking at high temperatures. 30 minutes or more was not uncommon. If you are a type A person that feels the need to put things in order immediately after using it, this might bother you. Otherwise, I really cannot think of a negative thing about the unit.
