Customer Ratings & Reviews

I’ve been using the Quest 2 for a couple of years now and was debating whether to drop $500 on the Quest 3 or just wait. When the 3S came out at $249, I finally pulled the trigger. Honestly, I’m glad I saved the money, though there are definitely some tradeoffs. The performance jump is the first thing you notice. The menus are snappier, and games like Batman: Arkham Shadow (which came free with it!) look way better and load faster than anything on my Q2. The mixed reality (color passthrough) is the biggest game changer, though. It isn't "real life" perfect—it’s still a bit grainy, especially if your room isn't super bright—but being able to walk to the fridge or check a text without taking the headset off is huge. The lenses are the main compromise here. If you’re coming from a Quest 2, they look identical (Fresnel), so you still have those subtle "god-rays" and a smaller sweet spot compared to the pancake lenses everyone raves about on the regular Quest 3. I tried my friend's Quest 3 once, and yeah, that edge-to-edge clarity is nicer, but is it worth an extra $200? For me, no. Once you're actually playing a game, you stop noticing the edges anyway. Comfort is... okay. It feels slightly bulkier on the front than I expected, and the stock strap is still pretty terrible. Do yourself a favor and use the money you saved to buy a third-party strap immediately. Bottom line: If you have a Quest 2 and want mixed reality and better graphics without emptying your wallet, this is it. If you have an unlimited budget, get the regular Quest 3, but for $249 this thing is a steal.

Hands-down the best entry point into modern VR I’ve ever experienced, and honestly one of the most impressive pieces of consumer tech I’ve used in years. Right out of the box, the setup is fast and painless. Within minutes I was fully immersed, and the upgraded performance is immediately noticeable. Everything feels smooth, responsive, and powerful — from fast-paced action games to productivity apps and mixed-reality experiences. Load times are short, tracking is incredibly accurate, and the visuals are crisp and vibrant without feeling over-processed. What really surprised me is how comfortable and accessible the Quest 3S is. The headset is lightweight, well-balanced, and comfortable even during longer sessions. The controllers feel natural in your hands, and the intuitive interface makes it easy for both newcomers and experienced VR users to jump in without frustration. The 128GB storage option is a perfect balance — plenty of space for a solid library of games and apps without paying extra for storage you may not need. Plus, being completely wireless is a game-changer. No cables, no PC required, just total freedom to move and play. Mixed reality is where this headset really shines. Seeing virtual elements blend seamlessly into the real world feels futuristic in the best way, and it opens the door to entirely new types of experiences beyond gaming. Overall, the Meta Quest 3S delivers incredible value for its price. It feels premium, powerful, and thoughtfully designed. Whether you’re gaming, working out, socializing, or exploring new worlds, this headset does it all — and does it well. If you’re on the fence about VR, this is the headset that will convince you it’s worth it.

I’m extremely impressed with this VR headset. The setup was quick and easy, and the visuals are incredibly clear and immersive. The headset is comfortable to wear, even for longer sessions, and the controllers are very responsive and intuitive. I love that it works wirelessly, which really enhances the experience without feeling restricted. There’s a great variety of apps and games available, and everything runs smoothly. Whether you’re new to VR or upgrading, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!

The Oculus 3 delivers an amazing virtual reality experience. The visuals are sharp, the headset is comfortable to wear, and the performance feels smooth and responsive. Setup is straightforward, and the controls are intuitive, making it easy to jump right into games and experiences. Whether for entertainment, fitness, or exploring new worlds, it offers a lot of fun and feels like a big step forward in VR technology.

Very immersive technology. A little heavy on the head. Games are expensive but the experience of playing is great. It is wireless and allows movement. Needs to be charged regularly.

First and foremost, WOW! The meta quest 3s is a beast of a VR headset. Plays all the titles, and links with steam easy One issue, the battery is pretty bad, but with a third-party headset strap with battery pack solves that. $20-$60 on amazon for the headset strap with battery pack. I bought 2 meta quest 3s, blown away! Great job meta

The quality is as it should. Image/graphics, sound and playability. This is definitely worth the money. My favorite feature is Remote Desktop. I can have up to three very large screens, great for workflow productivity. Depending on your taste in games, will depend how satisfying that portion of things are. Great shooting games, simulators like flight and driving, chess, RPG board game and of course puzzle games. I thought about if for a while, if your reading this thinking the same. Get it ! You won't regret it. I did end up upgrading the unit for max usability and comfort.

The Meta Quest 3S is an impressive VR headset for anyone who wants to experience virtual reality without wires or complicated setup. It’s comfortable to wear, easy to use, and offers smooth performance with responsive tracking. Improved graphics make games and apps look sharp and immersive, while 128GB of storage provides plenty of space for a solid collection of experiences. The controllers are intuitive, and the headset works well for both gaming and entertainment. Battery life is ok, but overall, the Quest 3S delivers excellent value and an enjoyable VR experience for beginners and casual users.

Gave the system to my brother as a present he absolutely loved it, he says it’s everything he’s been wanting. Only issue noticed was it does get quite hot when in use even early on, but given it’s literally a gaming system on your face it’s understandable hahahaha. Besides that absolutely perfect even thinking of getting one of my own to play with my brother!!!

The Oculus Quest 3 is hands down one of the best gaming systems I’ve purchased. The visuals are incredibly sharp, the performance is smooth, and the mixed reality features take gaming to a whole new level. Setup was quick and easy right out of the box, and the headset is noticeably more comfortable than previous versions. The controllers feel responsive and intuitive, and the game library keeps getting better. Whether you’re gaming, working out, or just exploring VR worlds, this system delivers an immersive experience every time. Highly recommend for both first-time VR users and anyone upgrading — totally worth it!

This product is so fun, my kids had so much fun playing games on their meta quest 3s, we played beat saber, blade and sorcery, VRFS, this vr headset is perfect for your kids i highly recommended buying it if your looking for a experience.

This is a cool system. It’s worth every penny. I see the told updates from the 1st generation. It’s had so many games and activities on it. Love that I can just charge everything and not have to use batteries for my handheld device. It’s very nice size for traveling. I wish it came in colors. If you are thinking about getting one, don’t hesitate grab yours today. You won’t regret it. It also has other devices like a body set to go with it. I’m definitely pushing to get that as well. I’m also trying to get a stand for it. They do have those too. One more thing to mention, the controller are so much better to grip and hold. I like they took off the round thing, fr people with bigger hands. The band around the headset is so better. I post a picture of my old one verses my new one

I bought this mainly for gaming, but it turned out to be great for media and casual use too. Setup was simple, tracking is very accurate, and the visuals are sharp with smooth performance. The headset feels comfortable even during longer sessions, and the controllers are responsive and easy to use. Battery life has been solid so far, and the overall build quality feels premium. It delivers an immersive experience without feeling complicated or gimmicky. I'd easily recommend it to anyone getting into VR.

My quest 2 has recently been having some battery issues and the quality has gone down over time, mind you I got it from launch, so I thought it was about time for an upgrade, when we I tried on my quest 3s noticeable differences were that the quality was ten times better, everything was crisp and clear, the headset was a lot more secure on my head then the quest 2 and the pass through mode was surprisingly clear, almost felt like I wasn't looking through a headset. When I played beat saber, my old headset would usually last me like an hour maybe an hour and 20 minutes, but when I finally got a low battery warning I was surprised to find out 4 hours have passed which completely of guard.

Very very fun and easy to set up. Battery life isn’t the best but I bought the upgraded head strap so it last much longer.

I absolutely love the meta 3s it is the perfect Virtual Reality headset for people enteri g VR or woth experience it is very affordable and has superb features it is also one of the best headsets you can get currently. BestBuy was very good sith fast delivery and great perks I definitetly reccomend buying this headset and if you do BestBuy is the place to buy it.

My kid is a streamer and he uses this headset for his videos. It’s affordable and well in graphics when it comes to playing and recording.

The Meta Quest 3 is widely regarded by experts and users as the "gold standard" for standalone VR, offering a massive leap in performance and visual clarity over previous generations. Its standout feature is high-fidelity full-color passthrough, which seamlessly blends virtual objects into your real-world environment to create convincing mixed reality (MR) experiences.

It's a great VR option especially if you don't plan on spending a lot, as you can find some really good deals. And if you aren't looking for something super immersive with lots of trackers and all that but just want to play the standard games, it's an excellent choice.

Great and awesome and also easy to use and it’s a very fun device for children also a really great price for what it does
