Customer Ratings & Reviews

Let me be upfront — I went into testing the Shokz OpenFit Pro with low expectations. Open-ear earbuds and bass have historically been a contradiction in terms. But after a few weeks with these, I'm genuinely recommending them to anyone who'll listen. Sound Quality Here's the thing that'll surprise you most: the bass is real. Not "pretty good for open-ear" real — actually real. Shokz has engineered something clever with the directional audio on these, and low-end frequencies come through with punch and warmth that felt impossible from a design that doesn't seal against your ear. Mids are clear, highs are crisp, and the overall soundstage feels airy and natural rather than cramped. Comfort & Fit The hook-style design sits securely over your ear without any in-ear pressure — a total game changer if you've ever ended a long run with aching ear canals. They stayed put through workouts without a second thought, and after hours of wear, I genuinely forgot they were there. Battery Life You're looking at around 7–8 hours of playback, with the case bumping that to roughly 28 hours total. More than enough for multi-day trips without hunting for an outlet. The Trade-offs Honesty check: because they're open-ear, sound leaks at higher volumes — not ideal in quiet office environments. And if you're craving the noise-isolating, bass-cave experience of premium sealed earbuds, these won't fully replicate that. The Verdict The Shokz OpenFit Pro are perfect for runners, cyclists, commuters, or anyone who wants situational awareness without sacrificing sound quality. If you've dismissed open-ear buds before because of weak audio — try these. They changed my mind.

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Shokz OpenFit Pro Open-Ear Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds. The sound quality is surprisingly rich and clear, with deep bass and crisp vocals. The open-ear design is incredibly comfortable, allowing me to wear them for hours without any discomfort while still staying aware of my surroundings. The Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable, the battery life is excellent, and the call quality is crystal clear. Whether I’m walking, working, driving, or exercising, these earbuds stay securely in place and perform flawlessly. If you’re looking for premium comfort, outstanding sound, and the added safety of an open-ear design, I highly recommend the Shokz OpenFit Pro. They have exceeded my expectations in every way. Definitely a 5-star product! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I love these! They are comfortable, I don’t even realize I’m wearing them. The battery life is great, I wear them all day long. The music sounds amazing and phone calls are easy to hear. Because they sit on the outside of the ear there not noise canceling, I’m fine with that. I would purchase these again if I needed too.

Great sound quality and plenty of bass. EQ adjustment makes it even better! Very comfortable to wear. I can wear them all day and barely notice them. Battery life is good. Active noise cancelation is okay. I'd say it currently reduces noise about 50% give or take. Hopefully some firmware updates would make that feature work even better, but not expecting much since it is open air conduction. If I need noise cancelation, I'll use my samsung ear buds. Forget bone conduction. Sound is not good with that. Although there is some obstruction to my ears for hearing, I can still hear my surroundings with no issue. Best ear buds I've ever owned.

I wear hearing aids, so normal earbuds are basically a non-starter for me. Anything in-ear means I have to take my hearing aids out, which is a huge hassle, and it also means carrying two cases everywhere (one for the hearing aids, one for the earbuds). Stuff like Samsung Buds are just automatically out. The OpenFit Pro solved that instantly. Since they’re open-ear, I can wear them with my hearing aids still in. No swapping devices, no juggling cases, no awkward fit, no pain. They just sit on my ears comfortably and work. That alone would’ve made me happy. But what really blew me away is the noise reduction. I genuinely thought “noise cancellation in public” was something I just wasn’t going to get anymore. It’s not total silence, but it cuts down the background noise enough that everything feels calmer and easier to deal with, and I noticed it immediately. And the sound quality is honestly fantastic. Clear, punchy, and I’m hearing details in music again that I didn’t even realize I’d been missing. If you wear hearing aids and you’ve basically accepted that earbuds just aren’t for you, get these. I’m genuinely excited about them, and that almost never happens with tech.

I have been searching for earbuds for over 30 years that I can wear without pain. I have really small ears so it is difficult for me to find comfortable earbuds & or headphones in general. I have tried so many & they all end up hurting my ears within 1 hour. Up until now, I have only been wearing over the ear headphones like the Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra. Now with the Shokz OpenFit Pros earbuds, I can wear them all day. Sometimes I forget I have them on. I mainly use them for work because I do call center work (inbound calls). They are also great for listening to music, playing video games, watching videos & etc. The battery life is pretty good in my opinion. They are a tad bit expensive though. It took me a minute to convince myself to buy them. So glad that I did. I plan on getting at least 1 more pair, maybe 2 so I have multiple backups. I highly recommend them.

Absolutely the best earbuds Ive owned to date. This is the third pair of Shokz Ive owned over the years and they just continue to get better. Noise cancelation on an open ear headphone, genius. The sound quality is top notch and the battery life is great. Overall, I cant think of one thing that I dknt live about these earbuds. I highly recommend.

The Shokz OpenFit Pro has been an excellent purchase for me. I originally had another open-ear brand in mind, but after remembering a YouTube review and trying the display unit in the store, I decided to give these a chance. I was especially skeptical about how well open-ear earbuds could deliver noise canceling and bass, but they exceeded my expectations. I’ve used them on a flight, in a crowded room, while producing live streams, and even while working in the yard, and they have performed extremely well in every setting. For someone like me who finds in-ear buds uncomfortable after about 30 minutes, these are a real breakthrough. The sound quality, comfort, and convenience make them a complete game-changer for both production work and everyday use.

If your someone searching for an earbuds for calls this one is the best in market right now, just a bit heavy than first gen due it’s noise deduction and other features, sound quality is awesome with long battery life.

Sound quality is very good, comfortable can wear all day battery life 8 hours on one usage and real quick charging 15 minutes give you 80% and can have a good conversation with other people while wearing the earbuds

If you need lightweight, clear audio this is it. A little highe end on the price, but SOOOO worth it. No irritating buds inside my ears, ans the dolby and noise canceling is o point. Ive been using open ear for the last 3 generations of shokz/JVC, and this is the best so far.

[Employee of bestbuy] Before this headphones came out I had the open fit 2 plus and they were amazing very comfortable and easy to use I use the a lot and then this model came out and I couldn’t resist to upgrade and the sound on them is amazing it’s very crisp with great bass, and I am very picky when it comes to audio I don’t want just something that makes noice I want to be able to distinguish between sounds

Product performs as expected. Have only used for a month but sound is clear and connection is reliable with the 2 devices for which I programmed this headset. Seamless transfer of Bluetooth when I pick up one device or the next. This is a key point for me. Also like that I can comfortably just use one side when I prefer. The App is basic and lets me adjust sound quality easily to various modes.

[Employee of bestbuy] After trying 8 different open-ear buds from Jlab, Soundcore, Sony, and Shokz, the OpenFit Pro by Shokz is the winner. The OpenFit 2+ used to be my favorite, but with massive upgrades to bass quality and levels, better connectivity and features with lower latency Bluetooth 6.1, upgrade from Dolby spatial audio to Atmos, smart wear detection, and somehow noise reduction, the Pro easily shot itself into the new flagship of open-ear. While the open style of buds tends to fall short in audio quality compared to high-end in-ear buds, these actually compete with my previous favorites, the Sony WF-1000XM6. They are not just the best open-ear buds, they're incredible buds in general

These are part of my EDC... last all day.. so comfortable i forget im wearing them... best part they dont block your hearing so you keep your situational awareness... definitely recommend 1000%

I love these headphone there was a youtube video that made me go over the edge I was on the fence but the noice cancel is litterally magic i cant explain but OMG God bless Shokz for the hard work they put in to design these. i am a runner and go to the gym often 5 days a week and you will not regret these I got a great deal on these open box. Best buy is the best for offering deals almost half the price for an open box excellent. I purchased these with my own money not sponsored these litterally replace my Airpods pro 2 theres something about hearing your music and being open to the world. Life is so beautiful why block it all out with in ear phone when you can get the best of both world with these just turn on the noice cancel feature and you going in your own world but if your baby or if someone wants to get your attention a hot girl or guy you wont miss out on that opportunity because you shut off the world with in ear!!! If your on the fence this is your sign

These are the best headphones I’ve ever purchased. They’re perfect for the gym and stay comfortable and secure during workouts. The sound quality is amazing—clear, powerful, and really enhances the listening experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for great headphones for both workouts and everyday use.

The ANC is absolutely fantastic for the form factor. The battery life is better than that of other Shokz products (OpenRun specifically). The sound quality is pretty good, but this isn't an earbud designed for the best sound, so keep that in mind. The build quality is also top notch.

I have airpod pros and these are way better, i dont like my ears fully plugged, my ears sweat and the airpods fallout. These sit around ear and dont go in yr ear. They sound unreal. Go in the store and try them on at the display you will be amazed. Love these.

Very comfortable headphones with great sound quality. The open ear designs is exactly what i was looking for to wear around the house or in the office while maintaining full attention on my surroundings.
