Everything about this phone is close to perfect. I am not a huge fan of the sharp corners but I will live with that based on the perfection of everything else. The display is amazing, fantastic battery life and the camera is great for an everyday user especially with including the wide angle,. I prefer iOS as an operating system, but occasionally if I want to play with Android, this would be the phone I would pick up.

Huge upgrade from Flip 5. So much screen. With light use, you get 2 days of charge. Perfect aspect ratio for daily usage. Both displays rock. Side mounted fingerprint reader just feels natural. Two hole punch cameras males it easy to take calls. Very light. From dev pov, was looking for something that can double for note taking & agentic coding on the go. Was great of BB to extend the promotion.

Best phone i have ever held, use this for a bit and you wont be able to come back. This is an amazing phone, i reccomend getting a dbrand case be ause its amazing.

I love this device because it is compact enough to store in my pocket but as powerful as a bigger device.

Quite simply the best phone i ever bought. Super-thin, super-light. Screen bright and very responsive. Battery lasts all day. The best part for me? The shape. Real passport style. Best for viewing media. I really could go on and on. The camera is still great. And i don't need an S Pen. You'll have 0 regrets with this phone. It's really really good.

Having upgraded from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and having owned two previous foldables, I can tell you that this is the best foldable I have ever used. The aspect ratio allows for, really, three phones in one. The 5.5-inch cover screen is extremely usable and easy to type on, even with small hands as I have, and shows enough content to be able to be useful all the time. When you open up the device, you get a 7.6-inch horizontal screen that is great for viewing websites and media, as well as doing multitasking, spreadsheets, etc. To read books or for certain websites, one can turn the device vertically and have an incredible experience. This foldable is basically three phones in one. Highly recommend.

Design: The big change is the wider, shorter “passport” shape. It’s more comfortable as a normal phone and still gives you a 7.6-inch 120Hz inner display when opened Performance: Excellent. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy makes it a top-tier Android performer Display: Excellent—bright, smooth and with a less noticeable crease. The 4:3 inner screen is particularly good for reading, multitasking and browsing. Cameras: Good, but this is still not Samsung's best camera phone. The regular Fold 8 lacks a dedicated telephoto, so zoom photography is its biggest weakness. Battery: 4,800mAh, with 45W wired charging. It should comfortably get through a moderate-use day, but competitors offer larger batteries and faster charging. Software: One UI 9/Android 17 and Samsung's multitasking features remain a major reason to choose the Fold.

At first coming from a larger pro max size phone the front screen might seem too small at first but after just a few hours the larger phones feel enormous and weirdly tall. The inner screen is beautiful and immersive and has been fantastic for watching movies, gaming, and multitasking. The switch from iPhone is far less annoying than I thought it would be and I don't think I'll be going back or be able to live without a foldable. Crease is still super subtle after a couple weeks of heavy use. Highly recommend.

It fits perfectly in the hand, slips into any pocket, and is very lightweight. Shape: 4.5/5. Battery: 4.5/5; depending on tablet mode usage, it usually lasts through the day without issues. Heating: 3/5; it gets a bit warm during heavier-than-usual use. Price: 3.5/5; yes, it is expensive, but I bought it during excellent Best Buy promotions, making it very affordable. Recommended for anyone who occasionally needs a larger screen.

Overall, I am very happy with this phone! Everything works great, and performance is top-notch. If I had to point out a couple of minor downsides, the side buttons feel slightly off from where my hand naturally rests. Also, regarding the form factor, I feel like the phone could be just a tiny bit taller- not as tall as a full 8, which can feel a bit too long, but somewhere between passport proportions and the 8 height. Other than those minor ergonomic nuances, it's a fantastic phone, and I definitely recommend it!

i was never really sold on foldables until i got the new z fold 8. honestly, the completely redesigned form factor is the only reason i finally made the switch, and it’s perfect. instead of feeling super tall and awkwardly narrow like the older ones, it’s shorter, wider, and basically the size of a passport when it’s closed. the new 10:16 cover screen actually feels like a normal phone now—i can comfortably use it one-handed to shoot off texts or scroll without feeling like i’m holding a tv remote.

When folded, the phone fits neatly in one hand and you can easily reach all four corners. It views most vertical and horizontal content really well without too much extra give. It unfolds to a high-res 4:3 screen the size of a small tablet. You really can't see the crease at all unless you're viewing at an angle. I'm a huge fan of my new Fold8 and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfy form factor with the flexibility (no pun intended) to turn into a small tablet at a moment's notice.

The z fold 8 is samsungs best foldable yet! Thinner than an iphone when folded but has all day battery and a huge screen! Fold 8 regular/wide (this phone) has a smaller screen than the fold 8 ultra (7.6" vs 8"), but it is the exact same size as the inner screen of the phone im upgrading from aka the z fold 5 (7.6" inner screen). So the fold 8 was basically a direct upgrade!

The perfect fold I have been waiting for! It fits the pocket and does what I need it to do i.e. multitasking, media consumption, and design with ease. The camera is enough for me for daily use to take photos with AI tools to modify it accordingly. Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone that needs comfortable and manageable phone that you can conveniently use without the bells and whistles of other phones.

Main gripe is the phone will "wobble" when placed on a flat surface, screen facing up. This means you HAVE to buy a case that levels out the back of the phone to eliminate the wobble. You can see the crease in the fold when the light hits it a certain way, unless the phone is in use and viewing dead on. It doesn't alter usability, though, because if the screen is lit up and you're using it you can't see the crease. Phone is fast, responsive, and was a big upgrade from my old phone.

It only took Samsung 8 generations to finally make a phone with the dimensions that people have been asking for. The Fold 8 provides a much better experience for the outside and inside screens. Samsung should continue with this form factor moving forward.

Been with apple for 15 years and this phone blows every iPhone I've had away. Haven't had this much fun with a phone since my BlackBerry back in the day lol. The Samsung interface and customization is incomparable. Highly recommend

Display is crystal clear, the full screen is perfect for videos, photos and games. It is much lighter than previous galaxy models and perfectly fit in pockets of any trouser or jacket. Love all the features including camera! I think galaxy phones have the best camera features!

Phone is smooth, sleek, and stylish. Apps and games run just fine and the cover screen is good enough to do most day-to-day tasks. The inside screen is immersive and great for viewing content. Note, some apps not optimized well, biggest con of the device; but that's true of most foldables.
