The TV has a beautiful picture and with the Roku interface it makes it extremely easy to use. I highly recommend this TV.

It’s not an OLED, but I’m very happy with this purchase, especially coming from a TV I bought back in 2014. This was the largest size that would fit in our entertainment center, and it seemed like one of the better 2026 models available at this price point. I really appreciate the anti-glare screen. Our ceiling and entryway lights hang a little lower and caused noticeable glare on our old TV. With this one, I hardly notice any glare at all. The picture quality is definitely an improvement over our old TV. Based on the few minutes I spent comparing TVs in stores, it looks on par with other models in its price range. What has impressed me most is the sound quality and volume. I haven’t connected a sound system yet, but the built-in speakers sound very good to me. I often have trouble hearing dialogue, and I’m able to clearly distinguish what people are saying on this TV. Setup was easy and took about 10 minutes. Having Roku built in was another plus since that’s what we already used. My only complaint is that the included Roku remote doesn’t have a voice-input button. At this price, I think that should be included. Overall, I’d buy this TV again.

I’ve been wanting to upgrade an older 43in LCD TV I’ve got; it’s currently wall mounted in the dining room but seems disproportionately small for the space. I want the replacement to be bigger and brighter, to make it easier to see anywhere in the room. I saw that Hisense was releasing a refresh of their M-Series with the M7 MiniLED in a 75in screen with Hi-QLED which checked all my boxes. Pros: - Bight and Beautiful Colors. - Roku OS is easy to navigate. - Low Reflections & Glare. - Built in Speakers are Loud! Cons: - Roku Remote doesn’t have a Mic. - Refresh Rate of only 60Hz with “Motion Rate 240” to smooth out motion. - Color calibration is off out of the box. Out of the Box: Even before taking it out of the box, the Hisense 75” Class M7 MiniLED is a big screen (comparatively to my old 43in). Luckily, Hisense makes taking it out of the box easy as long as you have 2 people. I don’t recommend trying to move or take this TV out of the box without a 2nd person. When removing the box, make sure to reach under and brace the TV as you’re lifting so it doesn’t fall over. The TV is well packaged, but easy enough to get out. Included in the box is the TV panel, 2 stand feet, the Roku remote, and Power Cable. The 2 stand feet can be placed in different locations on the bottom of the TV panel, depending on your setup. Due to the difference in TV sizes, from 43in to 75in, and increased weight of ~55lbs, I needed to order a new wall mount that supported the new TV. The 75in Class M7 supports a VESA wall mount of 500mm x 400mm. Roku TV: The Roku TV OS really brings this smart TV together, it’s easy to navigate and is perfect for streaming. Setup was simple; connect the TV to the internet, then either create a new account or login to an existing account, selecting a couple of settings, then an update and you’re done with the main setup. Setup does include a step asking for a Credit Card, as there are purchases through digital stores for rentals or purchases, but you can skip this. You are required to set up a PIN for the account, but you can set when the PIN is required, such as only for purchases. You can also set up the TV in a Guest mode if you share the TV. One of the big benefits of Roku TV is that they offer many channels to stream for free, both online and local networks without the need of a traditional cable TV connection. This is perfect for us as we haven’t had cable TV for over a decade, as we stream most of our shows online or an app. Apps can be added from the home screen by simply searching and adding the Third-Party stream app, like Amazon Video, Crunchyroll, and Dropout. Then just launch the app from the home screen and login to start watching! Overall, navigating the Roku TV OS is easy, it’s all organized by tabs with a general search being able to find what you want with only a few letters entered. My only complaint about the navigation is that there is no voice search, where you can press a button on the remote to say what you want to find. Instead, you must use the remotes arrow keys to type out what you want to find. It’s nothing major, but I might investigate finding a mini-keyboard or better input alternative. Screen & Picture: The focus of any TV is the Screen and Picture it can produce. For the Hisense Class M7, the Screen is a 4K Hi-QLED MiniLED. The major upgrade here is the MiniLED which provides Direct Lit backlighting with local dimming, which provides major improvements in brightness and contrast compared to standard LED backlighting. The Hi-QLED technology makes the colors really pop with better depth than traditional LED TVs. When paired together, MiniLED & Hi-QLED make HDR content look amazing on this TV! I did find that the pre-set colors were far off, which is easy to see on the skin tones. The best options were the Standard and Movie pre-sets, though Movie left the image muted & duller than needed. Thankfully, Hisense included manual color calibration settings, though it is tedious and time consuming but worth it if you want highly accurate colors. A small but important feature is the Anti-Reflection & Glare-Free coating Hisense used on the screen. This is one of the issues we’ve got with the current LCD TV, the dining room gets direct sunlight which causes bad reflections and glare. The Hisense Class M7 makes this almost impossible to see now, due to the coating and improved brightness of the MiniLEDs. The only major downside is the 60Hz Refresh Rate, which on it’s own would be a major downside. But TV’s use a bunch of software tricks, the sales term here is “Motion Rate 240”. This helps smooth out the motion blur from fast moving images, read as faster than 60Hz, using inserted frames between the actual frames. For normal TV and movie viewing, this is not going to be noticeably different from an actual 240Hz refresh rate as the image will look smoother than just a 60Hz screen. But you might notice some inconsistencies or image clarity issues in fast-paced activities like gaming or sports when the source is recorded in higher refresh rates. But honestly, for our use of the TV, this isn’t going to be an issue. The big benefit here is that it keeps the cost down considerably compared to having a higher refresh rate panel while still providing a better viewing experience over a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Sound: One thing I usually expect to be underwhelming is the built-in TV speakers, but Hisense didn’t cut corners on the sound. The TV has 2 speakers with a total of 20 Watts of output, which doesn’t seem like much until you realize you have them only at 20% of maximum output and it’s enough to fill the whole room! I was considering getting a speaker system, but I think I can easily put that off for now. It is worth noting that the TV does support DTS Virtual:X and eARC, which can be important when selecting a speaker system as eARC supports uncompressed audio. Connectivity: During the setup, you are asked to connect the TV to the internet, which you can select wireless or wired via Ethernet on the back of the TV. The TV supports WiFi 5, which is a more commonly available standard which helps ensure compatibility with any router. For the initial setup, I connected to the TV via WiFi and had zero problems. Streaming was smooth at any resolution, though that will mostly depend on your router and home internet speed. Additional connections on the back are 3xHDMI 2.0, Antenna/Cable (coaxial), and a USB-A. HDMI 1 supports eARC/ARC audio return channel which can be used to send audio back to a sound system or game console without needing an additional cable. The additional HDMI ports are helpful for those with multiple game consoles or devices such as DvD players. Conclusion: If you’re looking for a big TV that has amazing color and brightness, while being affordable (currently onsale for $599.99), the Hisense 75in Class M7 MiniLED series is a great option! The TV comes with Roku TV OS, which makes the TV great for streaming online and local channels even without traditional cable TV. I’m looking forward to getting this wall mounted so we can enjoy some movie nights this upcoming holiday season!

This is as good as it gets among entry level televisions. It rivals more expensive mid-tier televisions in picture quality. I have now owned four Hisense televisions over a span of six years, and I can safely say Hisense has figured out how to make some of the best televisions. This particular model, the M7 Roku edition, focuses on a user-friendly interface with simplified settings, but doesn’t compromise on image quality. Being that it is a budget model, some sacrifices were made to keep the price down, which I will address later. But it is hard to argue against a TV that creates an impressive picture, uses the latest MiniLED technology, includes a very capable AI processor that handles image processing, all while running on a versatile Roku interface. As proof that Hisense’s TV making abilities keep on getting better, I set up the new M7 model right next to my higher-end Hisense model that’s about two years’ old. Picture quality and color representation were almost identical (see images). When watching fast moving sports like ice hockey, the images remained smooth as the camera quickly panned across the ice. I attribute this to the TV’s effective use of AI. If the Smart Picture setting is selected, AI is used to improve image quality. The TV recognizes when you are watching sports or movies and adjusts the image accordingly. I do not usually like to use these auto/smart settings, but I was impressed on how well it works on this model. For example, AI drives the Motion Rate 240 feature and uses a trained model to reduce judder and other artifacts on the screen. This is better than the old standard that used fixed math-based algorithms called MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation). The MEMC process was widely used on TV’s just a few years ago and can still be found on lower-end TVs today. Overall, Hisense makes it easy to utilize these features. However, if you want to have more granular control of your picture, additional options are also available. I do want to point out that AI image processing is not the same thing as Automatic Content Recognition (ACR). ACR is a more intrusive setting that every TV manufacturer includes. This allows the TV manufacturer to take snapshots of your screen while you are watching something, send that data back to a third part company for processing, so they can feed you content and advertising that matches your interests. Fortunately, Hisense makes it easy to opt-out of ACR. Meanwhile, the AI processor functions locally on the TV and is different than ACR. In regard to sound on this TV, the two internal speakers are pretty standard. The sound was not impressive until I discovered the DTX Virtual:X option in the sound settings (see image). When I turned this on and selected the height virtualization option, the sound became fuller and filled the room better. It definitely is a noticeable difference and a big improvement. Beyond that, if you desire stronger sound with deep bass, I soundbar or independent surround sound system is recommended. Another note, this TV supports Dolby Vision but not Dolby Atmos. This is probably a compromise to keep the cost of the TV down. TV manufactures must buy a license to include Dolby Atmos sound on a TV. Regardless, as mentioned earlier, the TV supports DTX Virtual:X and can process audio that simulates 3D surround. Additional limitations with this model include the remote and the screens’ refresh rate. Starting with the remote, it is a standard Roku remote, but it does not have an included mic for voice searching. If you already have a Roku voice remote with mic, you can par it to the TV. Otherwise, you use the included remote to search for things the old-fashioned way by selecting letters on an onscreen keyboard. But there is one more option. You can download a simple to use Roku remote app onto your phone and control the TV using your phone. The app contains voice search and other useful options. Regarding the TV’s refresh rate, it is limited to 60 Hz. Many new TVs have screens with at least 120 Hz. However, the lower refresh rate on the M7 does not present any issues watching TV (because of its AI features) and while playing basic video games. The limited refresh rate becomes an issue if you are a serious gamer. If that is the case, you’ll want to look for a TV with a higher refresh rate. Otherwise, this TV is good for casual gaming. A Note regarding the image used on Best Buy’s website for this model. There are references on a couple images that show this is a Google TV. I believe that is a mistake. This TV uses Roku as its operating system as referenced in the product Name itself on Best Buy’s website. I have already notified Best Buy of this possible mistake and this may be something they correct in the future. Overall, I am very pleased with this Hisense model. The AI is effective, the picture quality and colors are very good, and the Roku interface is easy to use and comes with a lot of free channels.

When our new Hisense - 75" Class M7 MiniLED Hi-QLED Series 4K UHD Smart Roku TV (2026) arrived, we were astounded at how impressively large were the box and the television itself (this is our first television above 65”). But, when my husband and I got it setup and running, size was not the only impressive thing about this TV. The picture was stunning with deep blacks, vibrant colors and sharp images. This Hisense Model # 75M7SR television rivals the picture performance and features on our other brand-name televisions which have the latest technology of the past couple of years and which cost us more than three times the asking price of this M7 Hisense. Plus, for us, it was a bonus to have Roku as the streaming platform and operating system on which this Hisense model is based. We are huge proponents of the Roku platform and have been using the platform and Roku Streaming devices for more than a decade. It has always been an annoyance to my husband and myself to have to setup the Roku on a separate HDMI and bypass the non-Roku platform that the particular Smart television we were watching was based. My husband is not especially technically savvy and I have had to save some televisions from imminent destruction when switching to the Roku platform did not go as smoothly as planned and his frustration had peaked. This Hisense Smart TV with Roku has eliminated the need to bypass unused streaming operating systems and has made it incredibly simple and familiar for him to get to where he wants to go and watch what he wants to see without threatening the TV and frantically calling me to save the day. The most difficult part of setting up this Hisense M7 was determining the best way to install the unit’s two stands. With the television screen being so large, thin and relatively delicate and with us not having a large enough and clear enough table upon which to rest the unit, we had to search around and finally decided to use two carefully constructed stacks of thick, soft lawn chair cushions. The cushions provided enough room and height to place the television on its back and install the stands using the provided 4 screws. The cushions were also not too high to have a long drop to stand up the unit when the stands were secured. It worked out well. Note that if you are going to wall mount the television with a wall mount bracket (which is not included), then make sure to read the Hisense Roku TV Quick Setup Guide that is included with your new TV carefully. The Guide provides you with the information you need to know to mount the TV properly. The rest of the setup is basically placing the two provided AAA batteries into the Remote Control (read the Guide to see how to use the control; it will work with the screen immediately), attaching the power cord to the television and plugging it into an outlet, and then setting up the Roku. The Roku setup screens lead you through setup of your language, your Wi-Fi or Wired Internet connection and, if you already have a Roku account, your login using a QR code and your cell phone. Your current channels are contained in your account and will be downloaded to the TV. If you do not currently have a Roku account, the screens will lead you through setting up your channel / service subscription choices. You will have to login separately to streaming services to which you already have subscriptions, such as Netflix, Disney, Hulu, etc., usually just using your phone and QR codes on the screen. Once setup was completed, it was time to discover what a beautiful picture this display provides. We watched a few of our favorite shows and totally appreciated the clarity and vibrance of the picture. We had not yet set up a sound bar with the television, but were pleased with the unit’s sound without it. My husband watched a football game and did not perceive any issues with blurred motion. I placed some of my phone pictures on a USB key and ran them through the provided Roku Media Player. We are impressed at how clear and true to color they appear on the display. I also decided to test the AI Upscaling feature of this unit. I attached a DVD player to one of the three HDMI ports and ran an old 2K disc of Bourne Identity. It didn’t look upscaled all the way to 4K to me, but the picture was very acceptable and watchable. (I forgot how good that movie was!) On the whole, we feel that anyone getting this Hisense - 75" Class M7 MiniLED Hi-QLED Series 4K UHD Smart Roku TV (2026) will be as extremely pleased with their purchase as we are with ours. Yes, I would definitely suggest this Hisense M7 to all my friends and family.

The TV arrived safely and unboxes well – you will need 2 people to lift the box off the top. Because of the size, you will need 2 people to lift and position the TV. One feature that is nice is the adjustable feet for the stand. You can have them farther out or closer in to accommodate your stand. I always like the closer in option as it allows for more flexibility. Currently we have them adjusted farther out. We may hang this TV but haven’t decided yet. If you are familiar with Roku TV, then the setup is really easy. Connect to Wi-Fi and sign in. The remote is also very easy to use and functional. You can also control with Apple devices. Roku has lots of content available. The 4K quality when gaming is outstanding, and when watching a show or movie in the dark - it's so crisp! Game Mode Plus minimizes gaming lag time. There is no glare when the ceiling lights are on in the room, or from a distance and the direct lit backlight makes it pop. The picture is clear from all angles, no visible distortion when watching from either side of the unit. Football motion was very clear. Sound quality is very good - will connect it to the surround sound for gaming and movies, but on its own was great! It even goes quite loud, some tvs don’t. A really wonderful TV. Everyone remarks on the clarity. Now we are the go to spot for gaming. Highly recommended.

With so many TV displayed side-by-side in places like Best Buy or Costco, it can be difficult to tell one TV apart from another. But, in this case, this TV image absolutely stands out. The Hi-QLED 4K UHD Mini-LED screen produces a beautiful picture. Colors are spectacularly bright and vivid while Blacks are rich & deep...almost on the level of OLED (but without the high price, or potential for burn-in). Most importantly, I am absolutely blown away by how well Hisense has been able to reduce the glare on the M7's screen. Bravo Hisense. Seriously. Well done! My family no longer has to spend time turning off lamps, fiddling with lights switches, or trying to figure out which curtains need to be closed to reduce the glare on the TV screen. The matte finish is absolutely STELLAR at reducing reflections. As an example, look at the included picture that shows a chameleon on the screen. I am literally shining a flashlight at the center of the screen from 4 feet away. You can see a small white spot, but even that is not distracting from the image displayed on screen. The anti-reflection feature is phenomenal! I love that the TV has Roku built-in. Roku is still the easiest to use and it is the only smart hub that allows the user to search for a show throughout every app installed on the TV. No more searching through various apps. Just search right from the Menu and Roku will show you all of the streaming providers with your desired show and allow you to link right to that show's launch screen. My only minor issue is that the M7 is advertised as having a "Motion Rate of 240" while the actual refresh rate is 60 Hz. This means that the screen can refresh 60 times per second (which is standard) while the AI generates extra in-between images to give the impression that the picture is moving more smoothly than it actually is. While there is no "soap-opera effect" there also appears to be a jittery picture when sweeping scenery shots are displayed on screen. Ultimately, I don't think that the "motion rate 240" is reliable, or particularly impressive. Perhaps the AI helps better with upscaling closer to 4K. I do wish that Amazon's Alexa was built in, but with the Roku Skill added into the Alexa+ app, you are able to power on the TV and open apps using any Alexa device already in your home. It's not perfect, but it is nice to be able to shut off the TV while you're leaving the room. Ultimately, the picture and features that you are getting for such a low price are absolutely worthwhile. Having Roku built-in is icing on the cake. At such a low price, this TV is a spectacular value, and I recommend it to everyone. This is an affordable upgrade that will be worth every penny. Ditch your older TV and upgrade. You won't regret it.

I was excited to get this MiniLED Hisense Roku TV as soon as I got it. I had a previous generation model that performed well, but had some minor issues on fast moving images (sports for example). I had heard that the new models performed a lot better and I wanted to test that out. Before I get into that, I'll give a quick update on the packaging and initial setup. As with most TVs nowadays, the TV came well protected. They had an extra cardboard sheet to protect the screen from damage during shipping. Unboxing was easy, though you probably need two people to get box top off and get the TV out without damaging the screen. The TV is relatively light...gone are the days of super heavy consoles. It was light enough that one person could lift it, but the width of the screen makes it a little difficult to do it yourself. Setup was straightforward also. After putting on the feet (a couple screws per foot), I plugged it in and the setup was easy, though a little time consuming. I have used Roku displays and devices for years, but never had to setup an account. In order to get past the setup screen on this TV you must create a Roku account or provide login credentials of an account. A little annoying that I need to do that to just watch TV, but it was a minor inconvenience. Setup takes about 15 minutes as it downloads the apps you said you use regularly. OK, now to the important parts, the picture and sound. I'll start with the picture. By default it comes with the TV set at the brightest setting. I put it in a room that has some natural light already so the brightness can be helpful when you have that scenario. That being said, it seemed unnaturally bright to me so I moved it down a couple notches to "normal" for a while and then settled with the setting in the middle between those two, "bright". I mainly watch sports so I wanted to see how it performed watching football and baseball. With previous TVs, some fast moving images would blur to the point that it would become annoying to watch. I'm happy to say that I didn't notice much, if any blurring with the fast moving images. Very good for watching both baseball and football. The one thing that isn't good with this TV is the audio. I don't really knock any of these thin flat screens due to poor audio since I know they are all bad. I end up using external speakers to get good audio since all these TVs have poor bass capability and overall sound ends up very tinny. Overall, this is a great TV for the price and I would recommend it to friends. The picture is very nice and does a good job with fast moving content. The audio is bad, but I wouldn't recommend internal speakers for any flat screen TV so I didn't drop my rating for this review.

TLDR: The new Hisense M7 offers a ton of value for the money. The Quantum Dots add vibrance and Hisense includes a very well-designed picture calibration suite. PROS Rich, Vibrant Colors Direct Backlit Display 240Hz Max Refresh Rate Picture Calibration Suite 11-Point Grayscale Accuracy Supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, and HLG Content CONS Out of Box Color Accuracy Difficult to Tune Colors Colors Very Red Near Peak Brightness Few Local Dimming Zones SET-UP & INSTALLATION Roku TV's are so easy to set-up and configure, it's hard not like them. Scan a QR code and log into your Roku account and things are well on your way. Pick your streaming apps of choice and they are instantly downloaded, installed, and logged in. It doesn't get any simpler or easier. For a TV measuring in at 75", the M7 is impressively light and easy to manage. An easy two-person job to lift and mount on the wall. PICTURE QUALITY Out of the box picture quality is sub-par to say the least. Picking the movie preset and warm color temp (historically the most accurate settings) and colors were WAY off. Far too much red. Changing the color space from warm to normal took the red out but moved the picture too far in the other direction making it too cold (blueish). The Cool temp setting was nearly unwatchable as colors were just too far off to be enjoyable. Honestly, I was a bit concerned. I could live with the Normal setting, but it was obviously out of adjustment and the Warm and Cool setting were horrendous. Digging through the menus, I noticed Hisense's substanial picture calibration settings. SWEET!! I wish more manufacturers included such a comprehensive suite of adjustments with their TV's. The Hisense allows basic settings like Color, Hue, Saturation, etc., but also includes the ability to make finite adjustments. Most impressive of which, is their built-in 11-point grayscale adjustment feature. If buyers can get the grayscale nailed, colors often fall in line. Not always, but often. Nailing the grayscale settings will improve overall picture quality of any TV, even if the TV can't accurately reproduce the primary and secondary colors, it will still improve the overall color accuracy of the display. I spent quite a bit of time getting the grayscale dialed in. I was surprised at how much red was in the picture. I had to take ALOT of red out towards the top end of peak brightness. More than I have ever had to do with any TV to date. However, there was plenty of room for adjustment, with some left over. Yes, I could have started with Normal or Cool, but it would have required similar adjustments, just with the removal of different colors. I didn't spend much more time getting the remaining colors dialed to perfection but was happy with the overall picture quality after nailing grayscale. It's nice to know that if I choose to go back and tweak the setting even further, there is the ability to do so within the Hisense menus. I'm going to wait until the LED panels get more time on them before deciding whether or not to delve further into this endeavor. BLACK LEVELS / CONTRAST I have another 70" Hisense Roku TV in my workout room. I bought it several Black Fridays ago. It was on super sale but unfortunately is an edge-lit panel. Why do I mention this? Because the direct backlit panel of M7 is far superior to its edge-lit sibling. The M7 does a substantially better job at controlling light output in the darkest scenes of programming. The difference in quality between a back-lit panel and its edge-lit siblings are worth the price of admission. Black levels and overall contrast are not even in the same league. This M7 puts my edge-lit Hisense to shame. However, one area that this TV falls short of its competition and higher-end siblings is the number of overall local dimming zones. This 75M7SR has a low 180 local dimming zones. Most pricier TV's in this size have dimming zones that reach into the thousands. Because of this, the M7 does experience more haloing and light bleed than other TV's, but nowhere near the issue that edge-lit panels experience. By my calculations, each dimming zone in the M7 is approximately 3.6 square inches. By comparison, top-tier TV's in this class and size often have dimming zones measuring less than .75 square inches. FINAL THOUGHTS Is the M7 a good TV? Honestly, yes. It is quite good for the price. No, it doesn't have the best light control abilities. Yes, it colors are wildly inaccurate out of the box. With that, the colors can be tuned quite nicely, more accurately than many TV's in its price point. Many TV's still use edge-lit panels to control price. The M7 is superior to ANY edge-lit LED panel. The only real trade off with the M7 over pricier models is the limited number of local dimming zones. However, this would be unnoticeable in the real world if you aren't watching dim, moody movies or sci-fi shows with a lot of space scenes. For sports and day-to-day viewing, buyers would be hard pressed to find any real issue in the limited number of dimming zones or the M7 as a whole. RECOMMENDED

I have always been impressed with the Hisense TV line and was very excited to try out the 75" M7 line. I already have a previous 50" Hisense and was looking to upgrade my size to a larger one to better fit my living room. Upon arrival of this Hisense TV, I was already impressed with how well it was packed and how easy it was to start the unboxing process. I definitely recommend having 2 people during the unboxing and placement of the TV as the size would make it difficult for just one person. The setup was extremely easy as well, once turned on there is a very nice and simple walkthrough that will guide on setup. I was very impressed with the signal strength of the WIFI and the speeds it connected at. It allowed for a very quick software update of the TV. The UI for the Smart Roku is very quick and responsive; however, I do recommend to setup an account to make things easier. I would like to point out have responsive the Roku UI is when it comes towards setting up the apps that I use the most along with going into the system settings. I have ran into other smart TV UI software that is very sluggish and aggravating upon setup. I also like the auto detect features for the Picture and sound. I found that they would accurately detect the proper settings however if you wish to modify further you can always go in and do that as well. The TV itself does have a lot of memory space which is a good sign for longevity. As for the speakers of the TV, those are ok, I would even say average. I would recommend a sound bar or system to amplify the sounds. Overall I have really been enjoying this TV and recommend this to anyone interested in trying the Hisense brand.

I’m very happy with my Hisense 75-inch Roku TV. The large screen makes watching movies and shows a great experience. I really like having Roku built in because it makes accessing my favorite streaming apps easy and convenient. The TV looks great in my living room, and overall, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend it!

The picture quality of this TV is great. It doesn’t have a lot of glare and it is clear and crisp. We use this TV at our church for watching videos, but it is also perfect as a monitor for large meetings due to the picture size and quality.

The Hisense M7 is a good example of just how far entry-level TVs have come. You’re getting a huge 75-inch panel, Mini-LED backlighting, Dolby Vision and a simple Roku interface without spending anywhere near what a premium TV of this size would cost. Setup is straightforward, although at 75 inches I definitely recommend having two people available for unboxing and positioning the TV. The TV itself isn’t unusually heavy for the size, but the width alone makes handling it much easier and safer with another person. Build quality is perfectly fine, though there’s nothing particularly premium about the materials or construction. Roku remains one of the M7’s better features. The interface is simple, responsive enough and very easy to navigate, especially if you’re already familiar with Roku devices. That said, the TV itself is limited to Wi-Fi 5. It’s perfectly usable for streaming, but if this is going into a primary entertainment setup, I’d still lean toward using a newer external streaming box for better long-term performance and connectivity. Picture quality is good for what this is: a large, relatively inexpensive TV. The Mini-LED backlight gives it better contrast and backlight control than I’d expect from a basic LED television, and it gets bright enough that I had no issues using it in a variety of room conditions. The anti-reflective coating also does a decent job controlling windows and room lighting. Hisense doesn’t specify the number of local-dimming zones on this Roku version, which is unfortunate. The closely related Google TV variant has been listed at 128 zones, so I would expect the M7 to be toward the more basic end of Mini-LED implementations rather than competing with higher-end models that use hundreds or even thousands of independently controlled zones. Even so, having Mini-LED local dimming at this price and screen size is a meaningful upgrade over a typical entry-level direct-lit TV. Out of the box, Hisense defaults to a much brighter and more vibrant picture mode. It certainly makes the TV stand out, but switching to Movie mode produced a noticeably more natural image to my eyes. Colors become somewhat more muted, but overall accuracy improves. Color accuracy is adequate for this class of television rather than exceptional. The biggest issue I noticed was in reds and oranges, which could make skin tones look visibly off at times. It wasn’t enough to ruin normal viewing, but it’s one area where you can see the difference between an affordable large-screen TV and a more refined higher-end panel. The biggest hardware limitation is the 60Hz refresh rate. That’s perfectly acceptable for normal movies and TV viewing, but this isn’t the television I’d choose specifically for high-frame-rate gaming. Hisense does at least include VRR through Game Mode Plus, which can be enabled for compatible sources and helps provide a smoother gaming experience within the limits of the panel. Overall, the M7 is a solid value if your priority is getting a genuinely large screen with better-than-basic backlighting without spending a fortune. It gets bright, handles reflections reasonably well, Roku is simple to use, and Mini-LED helps the picture look considerably better than the cheapest 75-inch TVs. You could do much worse if you’re upgrading a living room, family room or secondary entertainment space to something substantially larger. I just wouldn’t personally make the M7 the centerpiece of a dedicated home-theater setup. Its 60Hz panel, modest local dimming system and merely adequate color accuracy remind you where Hisense had to make compromises to hit the price point.

I own quite a few TVs and this one has impressed me the most of anyone recently. First off, it comes very well packed and the screen is fully protected with a full protective film. Unboxing was easy with two people. It is surprisingly light for the screen size. The icing on the cake with the unit is the flexibility of the TV stand configuration. Most TVs either have the stand on the outside ends, which provide a challenge for small TV cabinets. Or they have a stand in the center, which provides more flexibility in placement, but is less stable. This TV allows you to either attach the stands on the outside corners or closer to the center. This is a game changer and will allow placement virtually anywhere. In addition, placing the stands near the center are still far enough part for stability, yet allow placement anywhere the screen will fit. Getting started after placement is just as easy. It uses a standard Roku remote and prompts for a Wi-Fi connection and logging / creating a Roku account on initial startup. Picture quality is top-notch out of the box and the sound quality is crisp and powerful. Navigating the applications is simple and launch quickly. There are dedicated game modes if you wish to connect it to a gaming console or PC. This is overall an excellent choice a quality, budget friendly and easy to use large screen TV.
