I got this skimmer because I had not really saw one of these before for my pool. It came up on one of my feeds and I investigated and feel this will be useful for my pool. I got this to test in the off season knowing I was going to my be able to test it at a family member's house in Arizona and if I didn't like it, I could return it. There are lemon and orange tree leaves and plenty of bugs to be had in the pool. This was an easy set up out of the box, and connecting the app and robot to wifi was easy, you can also do bluetooth. It did a update to the firmware right away. I charged this overnight before I put it out the next day and this runs in cycles for like 30 to 45 minutes, stops and charges by solar, then goes again. You can have it go on automatic, but if you have time you can have fun and drive this to spots to clean, or send it to the spot on it's own. I like how it stays at the edge for a while on passes and sucks water through for a while until it gets edge debris in. The pool has round eges and this does good. The filter is easy to shake out and clean. This is light and quiet and really does help me do preventative cleaning by keeping stuff from going to the bottom. I tested it for the week I was in Arizona and am so looking forward to having this in my pool starting in the late spring. I have no complaints, 5 stars. My family member is looking at getting this also, along with the bottom cleaning robot.

Wybot - F1 Robotic Pool Skimmer is a really good device for skimming insects and leaves. I like the ability to solar charge and still have options for charging with a cable. Packaging/marketing materials very impressive. The cardboard interiors in the box kept everything compartmentalized and stored very well. All the components are very durable and the weight of the machine is easy to get in an out of the pool. Quality of the app and the easy to install and connect was super easy. Really like the app and the software to run the device. I also am glad I can use the charger from the robotic cleaner with this device. Charging was easy and full charge without any issue was very good. The rubber bumpers and the ability to empty the bin was super easy. Easy to clean and hose off any residue. My pool is 20 x 40 inground and will be very efficient without having to use a skimming net so much. This is a great companion to the Wybot Robotic cleaner and reduce the amount of leaves and insects that will get in that device. I like the black color and hope that it will continue to look as impressive as it does a this time.

If you are like me and you would rather enjoy more time in the pool than working on the pool, buy this robotic skimmer. I hate chasing surface debris around the pool with the net, and there are areas in the middle of my 20 x 40 pool that I have a hard time reaching at all. This robot will clean the entire surface. It has a self-charging solar panel on top of it. You can run it in smart-cleaning mode, which will allow it to adjust its cleaning time and frequency with the current sun exposure to keep it going throughout the day. Or, you can run it on standard mode to just continuously clean until the battery runs down. My favorite mode is using the remote control function through the app to specifically target a few areas if you don't have a lot of surface debris to clean up. The robot is fairly light for its size. Accessing and cleaning and rinsing the filter is easy. It does have adjustable anti-stranding bars on the bottom of it to keep it from getting stuck on shallow steps. My only complaint is that it has a DC charging port to allow it to charge outside of the pool, but it DOESN'T HAVE a charger included with it. And it's not just your everyday charging port that you'll have a charger on hand for already at home. Why would you not include a charger on a several hundred dollar device if it's not a standard USB or similar universal charger? That's why I give it 4 stars. The solar charger does work, though, and the cleaner does, too, so overall I would still highly recommend this product.

Having a pool is a blessing and a curse. There's something about lounging in the pool after a long week of work, but there's always maintenance and cleaning that comes along with it. While I appreciate the exercise (no I don't) of manually skimming the leaves and grass clippings, there are some days I just want to get in the pool and relax! We have only had the Wybot F1 Cordless Skimmer for a short time but so far, we have been very pleased with the results. The F1 Skimmer did a good job collecting all the leaves on the water surface and the solar charging functionality is much better than I expected! We'll really put it to the test this spring with Alabama pollen that coats the pool surface. The pollen is super fine and even the pool net doesn't do a great job collecting it. But having the Wybot running constantly will be a huge improvement in how the water looks. I would say that the Wybot F1 is attractive and futuristic while the functionality is smooth and easy to use. I feel like we're living in the future with this and the cordless pool cleaner. Now I can spend less time cleaning and more time relaxing with family and friends.

The idea of this product is awesome. A solar powered leaf scoop to keep your pool clean. Who doesn't want that? In execution I was really underwhelmed in the performance. Three overall experience is missing several features that would make it feel way more premium. In the box you get the robot and that's it. Which this is my biggest issue. The robot does not come with a charger. I somewhat understand that it's a solar charging robot, but I find the lack of a charger a ridiculous omission, especially if you but this in winter which I did. Since I don't have a charger the only way to charge this is too or it in the pool and wait for the sun to charge it. The only problem is the lack of sunshine in the winter. Because it's this the robot is constantly dear, I'm not even sure if it ever reality runs. Everytime I connect to it there is less than 10% battery. If it would run the features seem reality cool, it connects to wifi, should run continuously, and does a really cool job to keep your pool clean. Unfortunately all I see is a dead battery.
