So far so good. I like that it records with a memory card. I can review day to day, record certain material I might need, delete that day to day or just format the SD card. I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my car while slept. It's great!

Very clear images, very clear night time images. For the price (especially when on sale) this camera is a very Wyze move. I upgraded my older cameras once I saw how clear the images were. I can view my 8 cameras on my cell phone and computer. I have 3 cams mounted outdoors and the rest 'patrol' the interior of my house. Being hard-wired saves a lot of maintenance with no worries about dying batteries. I have one cam zip tied to an exterior down spout. - I also have two interior Blink cameras but prefer the Wyze.

This camera is amazing definitely a bang for your buck. The potential settings are great. Camera quality, it has a microphone, speaker, spotlight, motion detection, and night vision. This is the best you can buy when you don't want to break the bank. I purchased this just keep an eye on my house when I'm not home. Let me reiterate.... You DON'T HAVE to buy a subscription just buy an SD card to save your vids to view. HOWEVER, a subscription is necessary to use CERTAIN features. $3 month per cam, $20/month for all devices, or $130/year ask devices. Your expense is based off how many devices you have. And what suits your needs You can get notifications without the subscription even though it doesn't save a clip you can view the camera live after the notification. Without as SD card or subscription it will take a screenshot. Let the app run in the background so your setup properly works. The negative reviews are from user errors because they didn't read the manual and set up instructions. It's pretty straight forward , it may require some testing for you to fully gap the concept of how it works and what you like. If didn't like constant notification then the noise and motion detection between 10 - 30

Huge upgrade from my Wyze V2. Night and day quality huge improvement. and now weather resistant. Because of the MP upgrade, you will need a larger SD card. I went with a 256gb and it gets about 2 weeks recording. 128gb is about 7 days, and 32gb is 2 days. The built in motion detection is very sensitive, and will send you a notification every time a leaf or a shadow moves on a windy day (even if you adjust motion sensitivity (had it down to 20%) and Detection zone.) I went to Wyze Unlimited, which uses AI for detection. 95% of the false positives went away, and I feel remote loading times is faster. (which seems like you are being forced into purchasing it). I have 11 camera total, so there is value in the subscription.

The resolution of the video quality is impressive for the price. The menus can get quite complex and confusing compared to other cameras like Blink and Ring. Also, the live feed seems to take awhile to load even with a strong connection to camera and 5G data on phone. I am impressed the camera is able to detect and remain connected to a WiFi network placed far away. I am using this camera in a detached garage about 60 feet from the outside wall of a house, where an eero extender is placed near the window. The camera does not lose connection even though my iPhone cannot remain connected to that eero.

The Wyze Cam v4 is compact, easy to install, and delivers clear video quality with decent night vision. It’s very practical for daily monitoring. The only drawback is that it’s overly sensitive to moving tree branches in the wind, which often triggers unnecessary notifications. If the software could filter this better, it would be close to perfect.

Recently bought these for my house after I went on a trip to Hawaii. They worked really well and the night mode works very well. The only thing is make sure the camera sensor isn’t bouncing or reflecting off the item in its view or it really makes the camera useless. Other than that it’s amazing for the price.

I purchased the Wyze Cam v4 from Best Buy and am very pleased with its performance. The 2.5K video quality is crystal clear, even in low-light conditions, and the two-way audio works surprisingly well. Setup was a breeze, and the app is intuitive and stable. I like that it works with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, which improves the connection. I also tested it outdoors in light rain, and it worked without a hitch. The motion detection and person recognition features are very useful, especially if you have pets or children at home. For this price, it offers much more than I expected. Highly recommended if you're looking for affordable, high-quality security.

camera works great, night vision is great, very clear as well as day time. I have all Wyze cameras and so does the rest of my family, highly recommend them.
