And they’re not first gen either (my ring cameras) all of which are on a solid WiFi connection for what it’s worth. I’d recommend both to be frank but for the price and the features that you don’t have to pay extra for-Wyze for the W. (W=win lol)

It has motion tracking and it can also be set to scan different areas. It has a microphone so you can hear what’s going on around as well as a speaker so you can speak from it.

I already have three v3 floodlight cameras, and this was a great addition to the family. Crystal clear video and sound with capabilities to rotate and speak into. For the price and quality this is a must buy.

Just get the app and follow the setup instructions and it was really easy. I'm giving it 4 stars since you have to subscribe to a monthly thing to get recordings and those things where you can differentiate pet movement and people movement, etc. But you can record and save it on a separate memory card if you don't want to pay and it still captures a still motion of whatever it is that flagged it. Although sometimes it misses it and captures too early or late. But all in all it works for what I got it for which is to see when my daughter got home and to use the mic feature when she didn't have her phone on her or she simply wasn't answering it. I would recommend it though. It's really good for it's price on my opinion .

The resolution is pretty good and "night vision" works well too. I appreciate the fact that a subscription is not required to operate the device, although having one provides you with more options. Another aspect, which I wasn't really looking for but is nice to have is the ability to rotate the camera remotely. In general, and in this price range, this device appears to be a good deal.

Update the Wyze App:
Make sure your Wyze app is up to date. You can check your app version in the Account tab > About.
Update Camera Firmware:
Go to Account > Firmware Update in the Wyze app to ensure your Wyze Cam Pan v3 is running the latest firmware.
Check Location Permissions:
Ensure that location permissions are enabled for the Wyze app in your device settings. For iOS, also enable Precise Location.
Switch Network Connections:
Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.
Force Close the App:
Close and reopen the Wyze app.
Reboot Your Router:
Restart your Wi-Fi router to refresh the connection.
Check Signal Strength:
In the Wyze app, go to the camera’s settings > Device Info > Signal Strength. If the signal is weak, try moving the camera closer to your router.
Lower Live Stream Resolution:
Reducing the resolution can help if bandwidth is an issue.
Power Cycle the Camera:
Unplug the camera for 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
Factory Reset:
If the issue continues, remove any microSD card, then press and hold the setup button on the bottom of the camera for 10 seconds until the status light turns solid red. Once it starts flashing red, set up the camera as new.
