Pro: The price ($20). You can't beat it for (6) blu-ray movies. 1 container for all 6 disc, nice. :D Con: No Extras on some movies. Others, only have a few. Look, I grew up on the xmen comics of the 90s with Jim Lee and the blue and gold teams and the Wolverine solo series. If you go in expecting that, yeah, you're going to have issues. But overall, as the movies have gone on, they have gotten better and better. They are pretty consistent to themselves and viewed with that perspective, they are good. Not MCU great, but that I blame on FOX and too much influence from bryan singer and his outspoken near-disdain for comics. But this collection gets 5 stars because its all the movies (minus days of future past and the latest Apocalypse). Funny thing is, I watched them with my son (he's almost 13) and we were just going to watch the first one . . . ended up doing a marathon and watching the whole set through the night. Good stuff.

The must have X-Men Boxed Set for the MARVEL superhero fan! It's got it all: Great story telling, Directing (Singer), cast, action, etc. I already had the first three X-Men movies and X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE on DVD, but this was still a great deal, at less than $10 per (Blu-ray Disc) BD. This set has all 6 of the movies currently available on BD including: X-MEN (2000), X2: X-MEN UNITED (2003), X-MEN THE LAST STAND (2006), X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE (2009), X-MEN: FIRST CLASS (2011), & THE WOLVERINE (2013). It also includes 13 eXclusive character cards: Magneto, Professor X, Mystique, Beast, William Stryker, Sabretooth, Wolverine, Storm, Cyclops, Phoenix, Iceman, Shadowcat, & Rogue.

I am a big fan of the x-men movies and had thought I had missed my chance to own a set of the blu- ray discs. I was pleased to see the re-release of a set that included the two wolverine movies and snatched it up! I am pleased to have them as blu-ray format and the quality is much better than the dvd(s). I only wished that I had waited to see the set that included the extras and the prequel....maybe they will release another set after "Days of Future Past". I like that the case is not bulky and that each movie is distinctively labeled. The set is the movies, not a lot of extras or extra packaging, enough for a concise movie library.

I was in Best buy with my brother after Christmas and was looking for something to spend my gift card on. My brother saw the X-Men and said only 30.00 since they were on sale at the time. We had just watched the latest X-men movie, days of future past which was awesome. I like this completion of movies since it has all of the movies included the Wolverine series all in one simply package. I actually did not buy them at the Best Buy were were at and then changed my mind when I came home. I went to the Best Buy where I live and bought them haha!

I purchased this boxed set to prepare for the new prequel that was coming out, "x-men: days of future past," mainly at the request of my girlfriend. She's the type to want to know exactly what's going on in a franchise/storyline before she goes to see a movie that isn't a romantic comedy or drama. This boxed set allowed us to binge watch all the movies over a three day weekend and then we we to see the newest movie in theaters.

We love all the X-Men movies, so to be able to get them all in one set like this was really nice. The only drawback was for me; I am a fan of behind-the-scenes extras, and this set does not have them. I am used to having a full disc for each movie with nothing but special features. With this set though, you only get the feature films and maybe a couple of things. Not bad to get all the movies though for the price I paid.

My wife and I wanted to watch the X-Men movies from beginning to end to in preparation for "Days of Future Past". I owned the original trilogy on DVD, but it was time to upgrade. This set is what we needed. Every movie from X-Men saga and it's spinoffs is included: X-Men (2000) X-Men United ((2003) X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) X-Men: First Class (2011) The Wolverine (2013) All blu ray discs say "Disc one of one" which makes it feel as if they were left over discs from their original sets and repackaged for this collection. Even if that was the case, though, I don't mind, as we rarely see the extra content on blu rays. It is a very good starters collection and I encourage any X-Men fan to buy. Mine came with a set of bonus X-Men character bio cards, but that blu ray set is specially marked. The set will indicate if they are included and the price is the same. Look for those if you can find them.

I picked this up after seeing days of future past because I really enjoyed that movie. My wife and spent a weekend watching all these movies and we really enjoyed them. I had seen most of them, but not "The Wolverine" which is the one I ended up enjoy almost the most. There are some semi-dud movies here, but honestly, they're not that bad. I'd recommend the collection if it's on sale. You'll be glad you added it to your Blu-ray collection.

Unbelievable quality set of 6 movies; each on their own disc. Even though it doesn't include the latest installment of the series (Days of Future Past), I couldn't pass up the opportunity to own this boxed set in Blu-ray HD for the sale price of $19.99 .... That comes out to a little over $3 per movie. Outstanding set. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves this series; just make sure you get it on sale.

6 GREAT movies for less than $10/movie that come in a compact case that takes up little shelf space... plus one of the movies being brand new. What's not to love? If you love the X-Men/Wolverine movies, this is the best option imo. And if you are buying online, nobody ships with better care than BB. Other places ship blu-rays so poorly that they usually arrive with the covers/cases all beat up... not at BB.

I really love the X-Men series. Bryan Singer did an amazing job with these movies. For an X-Men fan like me it was a no-brainer to pick this up. All six movies for less than $40 on blu-ray is great. If you like the movies then you probably either have this set or something similar. For the people that don't like the X-Men there really isn't anything I can say that will change your mind.

I love the X-Men and Wolverine movies! This was a great find to have them all in one collection. As long as you are not looking for extended versions and bonus discs/features, this is a great collection to have.

I recommend this for anyone who loves X-Men or has not had a chance to see any of the films. This is great because it has all the movies including the Wolverines. I really enjoyed watching these films, and they are transferred great on Blu Ray the picture is clear not blurry and sound is good. Just all around fun, family adventure packed movies anyone can enjoy.

I came in planning on buying all of the X-Men movies individually, which would have cost me a lot more and then I found this boxed set. Ended up buying this plus Days of Future Past for much less than it would have cost to buy everything separately. Only drawback is that if they would normally be part of a 2 disc set, only the first disc was included.

This has basically all of the older x-men + wolverine films. Got it on Black friday for a great price, and I was happy with the quality of the bluray picture sound. I really only wanted the first two x-men movies, but for the same price I was able to get all of them. Probably wouldn't have bought all of the others, but they're still fun to watch.

Excellent set containing all 6 Blu-ray discs, including the latest released movie "The Wolverine". Not the best box presentation (ex. a limited edition or collectors edition), but for the sale price ($29.99) I couldn't have asked for a better deal, considering the latest movie is still retailing around $20. Overall this is a great purchase, couldn't be happier.
