Is this the best Xmen movie? No. That would be xmen first class and X2. (Logan is the best). But it is a fun movie and the 3D is very good.

As the latest X-Men movie (not counting Logan) this is a great movie with a fun and engaging sci-fi plot. The surround sound track on this movie is especially great.

The film itself is an OK work, with good and very good moments. It should have been so much more. There are character development scenes, unfinished and in lower visual quality, that would have elevated this film so much. They are included as bonus material. They should have been edited into a director's cut of lasting impact and breadth. We need time to buy into Scott and Jean as friends, let alone a future couple. We need time to be sold on this specific group and their team bonds. The kind of time spent across several films in the Marvel Universe, or "Lord of the Rings." These cut scenes would have been a great start. Instead, we get an action / visual showcase lacking the soul of either "First Class" or the sequel. Audio quality? Excellent, probably reference. Video quality? For about 70% of the film, this UHD *leads the medium* with spectacular lighting, color depth, detail, and sharpness. The first 70% of this may well define the potential of UHD: truly stunning, ultra-realistic. But then, things get a tad soft. Sharpness and focus drift slighlty. Detail is less. I would rate the video in this portion 83/100. Recommended, with caveats that the studio may have lost this one in the editing room. And that as great as the visual presentation begins, some momentum is lost by the final scenes.

This film looks incredible on 4k. The story is good but it trails just a bit at times. Still recommend it to anyone tho.

This movie was better than expected... Not to mention near reference quality video and sound... Must own if you're a fan

I grew up with the X-men characters from the first time I read them in comic books. It was a stunning sight to see my expectations fulfilled on screen.

This movie is very good in 3D and great sounds if you have a 3D tv or projector good movie to have in your collection.

This is a good movie with many star cast. Jennifer Lawrence in a role she did not repeat. I like her particularly in this role. Great costume.

You'll need a 3D TV to view the 3D disk which is marvelous, but this package also includes Blu Ray and Digital for non-Stereo Vision TV's.

Definitely a watchable movie. I really wished they had kept the apocalypse character more visibly true to the comics

Definitely enjoy the movie. I always am looking for more 3D movies so this was a good addition to my collection.

Great but for the price, seen it on the rack for a good deal. Had to pick it up,definitely would recommend.

While Apocalypse is not my favorite X-men movie, it sure beats out most with its sleek design and storytelling.

I'm a big fan of the marvel comics universe conversion to movies. This is a little darker than the other movies but still a great flick

If you a marvel head and you want the best picture you can get in a marvel movie then this is the way to go.

Bought this for the 3D movie. I have this in regular DVD and when went on sale on Black friday couldn't pass on the price.

I absolutely love the X-Men series. I really like the way they have seamlessly intertwined the past with the future. Highly recommend!

The follow-up to the great "X-Men: Days of Future Past" was a huge disappointment. Bryan Singer hit a home run with his return to the X-Men universe (and the follow-up to the widely acclaimed "X-Men: First Class") but struck out with Apocalypse. The biggest fault this movie had was it did not have a compelling villain (like Magneto and William Stryker in the past). Oscar Isaac, a great actor who hit box office gold with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," is completely wasted here and buried in makeup that makes him look like Ivan Ooze from the first Power Rangers movie. Plus, i had a hard time believing that a young, inexperienced X-Men team - even led by Charles Xavier - could defeat this omnipotent foe. As far as a blu ray package is concerned, I was very pleased with the additional content. The deleted scenes featured what was in my opinion, the best scene of the movie - the "Safety Dance" extended mall scene. If you are a huge X-Men and Marvel fan, I recommend the blu ray purchase, but if you're an average moviegoer looking for something good to watch, save your money and just got the Red Box route on this.
