It seems as though when it comes to Fox and making comic movies it's always a one step forward and two steps back situation. With this movie they were trying to get a new start with some of its best characters, but it's not a solid attempt across the board. I enjoyed most of the new forms of characters introduced. I liked that they didn't make it wolverine heavy like most of the movies. However, apocalypse fell short for me. He didn't really do much other than be there and turn people against the x-men. I didn't like that they may have killed off one of my favorite characters. I was pleased with the ending and the way they made it similar to the 90s comics. Professor X and Magneto still carry this franchise. They are the best fit characters and great actors. Some of the new characters that were introduced were greatly underutilized. So it's a give and take kind of movie with both good and bad with the good possibly out weighing the bad. Still a lackluster outing for the Fox crew. I still bought it and will watch it. It's a pretty good movie but could have been even better.

I'm a big fan of the marvel comics universe conversion to movies. This is a little darker than the other movies but still a great flick

I absolutely love the X-Men series. I really like the way they have seamlessly intertwined the past with the future. Highly recommend!

It definitely was a great film. I definitely enjoyed the action and story from the beginning to the end.

This is a great movie and in my opinion, is best on blu ray or 4k. If you are an Xmen fan, this is a must.

Good movie. The series rarely releases anything that isn’t good.

X-Men: Apocalypse is the sequel to Days of Future Past and takes place about a decade later in the '80s. This movie entertained me from start to finish and I can't say I was ever bored. But there are a lot of things I was not satisfied with while watching. Starting off with the good, Magneto and Professor X continue to be the best parts of these movies. Michael Fassbender as Magneto is amazing and he has a really emotional scene towards the beginning which got me locked into the film. James McAvoy is also great as Xavier. The internal battles inside Xavier's head were riveting. I really liked the new cast of the younger X-Men, like Jean Grey, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Cyclops. Quicksilver has another awesome scene just like the previous movie. The action is handled very well for the most part. The first half of the movie is terrific, but the second half brings it down.

This is a great movie. Very entertaining from beginning to end. Found at Best Buy for great price.

Kool movie, they priced match it for me so that was kool.

If you like X-Men atleast youll have fun with this one

Anytime these movies are on sale you have to pick them up, timeless additions to the XMEN series!

Save your money. This movie is not worth purchasing... the special features are so-so. Fox really dropped the ball with this movie. Such a disappointment from the previous and vastly superior entry, Days of Future Past. Digital copy was a plus.

Have been in to marvel movies lately and best buy had good prices in the X-Men movies

Since Marvel does not have full creative control for the X-Men since selling their movies rights to the franchise, you can expect the movie to be a bit off from what it should be. Fox does a good job overall with trying to tell a story, but lack the planning needed for movies that they want to tie together into the same movie universe. The main reason I got this was because my favorite character, Psylocke, was in it and played by an actress I like. If you're into the X-Men and are okay with inconsistent continuity between the movies, then you'll love it. If on the other hand you expect them to stay faithful to the comics, then you'll be disappointed. Standalone, it does well to tell a story. But combined with the others in this franchise, their timeline is all messed up.
