Movies accurately follow the original timeline, there are a few oddities but over all enjoyable films

The first two movies was pretty good but then the movies fell off the cliff with Apocalypse.

First 2 movies were really good and then Apocalypse was made. Still recommend the set.

Box set priced right. 4K really helps these old titles out. Played disc with an OPPO, so my opinion may be swayed a bit, but very entertaining movies, can’t remember what audio playback options were supported, but Dolby sounds excellent too on my 7.4.1 in wall/in ceiling arrangement. OPPO 203, Marantz SR 7013, Sonance mid grade 6.5” surround & Polk RC (also in wall) Center Channel w/ vintage Velodyne 10”

Got a great deal on the latest xmen movies and on 4k! It comes in 1 case so it doesn't take up much room! Movies are absolutely excellent and amazing picture quality!! A must have for any xmen fans! Highly recommend grabbing this set while you still can! Thank you Best buy

With Disney's purchase of 20th Century Fox coupled with Disney's own propensity to put films "in the vault" (artificial scarcity) to drive viewers to Disney+ streaming app, I decided now's the time to upgrade the Beginnings Trilogy (as they might not remain in stock in the future). The HDR moderately improves the color grading from the blu-ray releases, but not to such a degree that it's a must buy. If you're looking for a showcase disc for a nice 4K t.v., this isn't it. The quality of the flicks varies. First Class is the best of the three, featuring a fun "getting the gang together" montage and some nice interplay between leads James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender. Kevin Bacon is the primary antagonist and chews the scenery as a mustache twirling type villain. Days of Future Past is a joyless but competent affair with one stellar setpiece (the Quicksilver bullet time sequence). Apocalypse is gratingly bad. I would wait until it's on sale for less than $30 (as it seems to fluctuate around that mark frequently).

Awesome movies (except for The Last Stand) average 4K transfer. Still enjoyable in their 4K format as they are, but I would have definitely liked a better effort in remastering these movies to the ultra high definition quality.
