Idk why people are bashing this movie. It’s not perfect but it’s certainly better than The Last Stand and xmen origins. The story could’ve been fleshed out even more but all in all it’s pretty good. The fight sequences and the special effects are breathtakingly beautiful.

Finally priced right and had points to redeem. Movie had tremendous potential and just didn’t live up to X men standards. Felt like it was just to make a quick buck. If you’re not collecting the BR or HD id just watch it on Netflix or one of the other streamers

We didn't enjoy this X-Men as much as some of the others. It was certainly entertaining, but we found that we didn't really care as much about the fate of Jean Gray as some might. The movie was serviceable, just not in the same league as First Class or DoFP.

I bought mainly because i wanted the steelbook for my collection. The movie itself is what you would have come to expect from Fox, an okay X-Men movie that had great potential but turned out mediocre. I will say it was better than Apocalypse, so there's that...

I really enjoyed this film. Acting was superb, cinematography was amazing and the storyline was most interesting. Great action and interest captivating. I purchased this movie for my collection. I would recommend this film to my friends for their enjoyment.

The film often warrants the negative reviews, but it does not stink, either. The acting is solid throughout. We’ve already seen some of this storyline in the 2006 film “X-Men: The Last Stand.” As one might imagine, a superhero movie should be perfect for a 4K UHD viewing experience, even if the end result was only upscaled from a 2K digital intermediate. In this case, it’s a mixed bag as some of the night scenes especially the New York City, 5th Avenue battle between the mutants are too dark for intense detail to pop, and interior scenes suffer from a slightly too yellow coloring that seems out of place. Despite those disappointments, the movie does visually shine in other places within in the movie.

A good interpretation of a really difficult storyline in Marvel X-Men history. Is it 100% true to the comics? No. Is it completely off base? No. It's just one director's interpretation of it. I enjoyed it, and own all of the X-Men movies & cartoons.

This movie got bad reviews and did terrible at the box office. But it's actually very good. The emotion is there, the pain of losing your mind. And the mistakes everyone makes. Heroes are not perfect and this proves that everyone is human. Even mutants.

I heard a lot of bad reviews for this movie and I'm not sure why. I liked it a lot and while we know who the Phoenix is it was nice to see her back story more. There are a couple of small slip ups in the story line but most people won't even notice.

Overall this was a decent movie. It had some twists in it that caught me off guard, but they made sense. Then ending did not seem to fit and I think it was rushed. I feel they could have done more, but I don’t know the budget.... So yeah. 7 out of 10.

Sometimes the movie companies are going to the well once too often and audiences are presented with so-so experiences. The cast has been able to enjoy success in many other roles over the past several years and viewers come to have a reasonable understanding of abilities (no pun intended towards an X-Men movie) of actors. This picture is proof that either the storylines have just about dried up completely or the actors are just too easily able to out-preform their roles in the movie. Credit to them all for sticking with the franchise, but this just feels a bit too half-hearted and done to fulfill a franchise contract. It's not bad, it's okay, it's fine, but it's just not great.

Jean Grey absorbs some cosmic force that enhances her strength but also makes her somewhat uncontrollable. I sense a Phoenix Force takeover similar to the comic books. The movie is alright.

Steelcase is great. 5 Stars for that but the movie isn't the strongest X-Men flick. It has some great action scenes but the story is nothing new and does it alright. I mean with the title Dark Phoenix, you know what you are getting yourself into.

As for the movie itself, its ho hum and just ok to watch. A little slow at times but it's just ok and not a must see. As for 4K version, it's really stunning but unfortunately, there's not a lot of scenes to capitalize on the crisp quality.

This film is fairly entertaining and fun to watch but really sort of the weak link in the newer xmen films. Hence the minus one star. The phoenix story line could have been handled better but this is still worth picking up when price is low.

The origin was similar to the comics, but not the rest of the story, which could of ranked this up there with Avengers Infinity War and Endgame, if it did. Amazing effects and good premise. The story lacked in substance. It’s still entertaining.

This movie took allot of flack because it wasn't what people expected. However that is unfair. This is a solid movie with great performances from McAvoy and Fassbender. It is also the end of an era with Marvel taking over and rebooting everything. Special effects are good. The main issue is Sophie Turner is miscast as Jean. She tries hard but it's just not in her range yet. The steelbook with the exclusive art is awesome. Pick it up before it sells out.

Its been described as a $200million student film. And it's honestly not even that good. It's objectively worse than Xmen last stand. You really have to see it for yourself to understand just how incredibly awful it is. It makes xmen 3 look like xmen 2. It is breathtakingly, aggressively incompetent. It's almost painful, but somehow in a good way. Highly recommended. It's a root canal on celluloid. Pick it up now! I give it 4 prolapsed rectums. Enjoy

I was hugely disappointed in last stand years ago. I feel this one made up for it a bit. It has really good action sequences and special effects. Thoroughly enjoyed the story line. I think it was a great addition to the X-Men Universe.

I had originally not decided to see this movie in the theatre on the big IMax screen. I did enjoy it however on DVD. I look forward to future X-Men installments with Disney Studios getting involved again under the new production changes.
