This film sets to rights many of the issues that other films in the series (including the "old" X Men films) had created. This is a great cross-over between the old and the new story-lines and is very satisfying to watch. As a fan of not only the characters, but also the comic books, this lets me breathe a sigh of relief and enjoyment to watch.

As my review summary says, it is another great X-men movie. I purchased this to complete my DVD series of this show and now I find they are coming out with another one .. can't wait until it goes on DVD so I can buy that one as well. Love the X-men ever since they came to comics September 1963 - still have the first edition!

From possibly the best ever X-Men storyline, comes this translation. You can watch this alone, and get it. But, if you've ever read the "Days of Future Past comic, you'll probably be amused by how they translated this to film. I get a kick out of the new to movie characters, and the classic portrayals of X-Men. Still thought the original X-Men movie is still the best, so far. This one had more story, and less action.

X-Men: First Class revitalized this film franchise. Days of Future Past amps up the intensity! Inspired by the classic comics story, X-Men: DoFP has the X-Men of the future in deadly peril. Their only hope: to send one of them to the past to fix history. Many twists and turns make this movie a fun blockbuster popcorn movie!

The only reason I bought this is because the Blu-ray didn't have a DVD combo option, which irks me to no end. Thankfully though I had a gift card that I used to get this and several other items with. As for the movie itself... Finally, a 'GOOD' X-men movie! we haven't had one of those since X2 as far as I'm concerned. Here's hoping they continue the trend with the next film X-men Apocalypse.

If you are into the X-Men series then you will love this sequel. It's kind of ironic that every character is depicted as the younger version of themselves except Wolverine ( Hugh Jackman) since Wolverine doesn't age. It was also great to see some of the characters revisited that have either been dropped or died.

I've loved the superhero movies just as much as the next person. The X-Men series has had ups and downs, but this movie still seemed different. It was like having a chance to meet all your favorite characters all over again. For nostalgia's sake, I liked it. As a stand alone film I'd give it a solid B.

I am a true fan of X-men for many years. Even since the comic books. This sequel was fantastic for any true followers or first time x-men watchers! The characters are cool. Costumes are so original & vibrant. Storm is my favorite. I hope they keep on making more thrilling action-packed stories like X-men!!

I remember reading this story line back when the comic came out. I really liked it. Seeing it on the movie screen I really enjoyed it. I wish they hadn't changed who went back into the past but pretty much every movie now a days changes what is in the books or comics even though I'll never understand why. Still a good movie and being an X-men fan I was not disappointed.

Movie sequels have always been difficult to pull off, but not this movie. My husband and I are both X-Men fans and looked forward to this movie, and we've already watched it twice. These movies are so great that it's impossible to catch all the nuances without watching it a couple of times.

I'm a huge fan of the X Men movies. My favorite is still X2, but this one is probably a close 2nd, along w/ X-Men First Class. I love the concept of having the older & younger mutants and seeing the X Men during different parts of history. Another excellent film in the X-Men series.

Normally this many movies into a franchise, the movies start to feel repetitive. That is not the case here. This is a great addition to the X-men lineup. I love the mix up with all the younger and older versions in the movie. It had a great plot, good acting, and awesome action!

The story, and the direction are excellent... and despite my annoyance with time-travel storylines, the method they opt for is better than usual. This is not only the smartest and most entertaining entry in the X-men franchise, it is also one of the best superhero films to date.

It is an astonishingly excellent piece of superhero movie entertainment. The characters are wonderful, and the action is always exciting and fun. The story is riddeled with themes like destiny, hope, despair, survival, and a multitude of others. This is the best X Men yet.

This review is based on the DVD version of the movie only. The picture quality & sound of the movie is just fine, but the extras section is just lacking in content. If you need to know all the behind the scene secrets, then get the Blu-Ray version of the movie. If you're just interested in having the movie, then this will be just fine for you.

A little predictable, but still a good movie. I think the actors that portrayed their characters did a good job, especially Hugh Jackman, who is always stellar as Wolverine. Action scenes involving the evil machines, sentinels are really good, and there is plenty of humor as Wolverine deals with his exploits in the past.

If you've seen it, you know it's worth buying! If you haven't seen it, buy it anyways--because it's worth buying! Especially when it's practically free because I was able to use my Best Buy birthday rewards towards the purchase price--Happy Birthday to me =0)

If you are a superhero fan, you have to have this one in your collection! It is the best X-men movie to come out so far, and it is essential for any Marvel buff's movie library. The merging of the two worlds is masterfully done, and these characters always surprise.

IF YOU ARE AN XMEN FAN, YOU WILL FIND THIS MOVIE VERY ENTERTAINING. FULL OF ACTION AND GIVES A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE ON, ONE FUTURE POSSIBILITY IN THE WORLD OF THE XMEN. A NICE LOOK INTO WHAT ACTIONS THAT WERE TAKEN IN THE PAST MAY AND WILL EFFECT A FUTURE OUTCOME.

I initially did not want to see this movie when it came out, however I'm glad I gave it a shot and went one night last summer. This movie did not disappoint me at all. It had so many one liners that I kept saying them for days and would laugh. Great movie.
