Purchased 2 of these, and both work perfectly and I can't see anything cosmetically wrong other than a few scuffs. When you consider that the output of an Xbox 360 is the same whether you buy this discounted one or one of the new $400 ones... why not? Works great. Plays the same games as the units that cost 3x this one. Fan seems a little loud, but it is the same on both and I think that they probably fixed the cooling issues. Came with a warranty - no worries.

This is an excellent 2nd unit, and a great buy for this price. As someone that spends way too much of my disposable income on game equipment, this unit exceeded my expectations. I use it as a DVD player and for gaming on my 2nd TV. I absolutely would recommend this unit. Remember that it doesn't come with a HDD, but you can buy one cheaply online. I had one already from a previous RROD unit and it works perfectly with this unit. Note that you might not want this as your primary system (with no memory) unless you plan on purchasing a HDD. A+

i love my xbox, although its really a game of chance buying a refurb, i have had mine for about 2 months and its running strong. even if it does break down past the best buy 30 day return period neko (the company that does the refurb) will replace your xbox for up t0 i believe 4 or 5 months. but it all comes down to correct care of your xbox, remember to give it and the power brick space to breath off carpet on its side, and never play for over 6 hours at a time. if you acually take care of it your xbox it should last a long time.

I am now sending this thing back UPS for the second time for warranty. Havent been able to play this Xbox two days in a row without it not working, the flashing red lights, means no play time for my boys and I am very very irritated. Customer service has been good, but I really would just like my money back

I bought this console a few months ago seeming it would be fun and it would work for a long time. Instead, it broke a few months in. I had no warranty and I'm not going to fix it because it cost $100 to fix.

Bought this less than a week ago and it already started throwing the red ring of death will never buy anything refurbished from best buy again taking back to store today!!!
