    Worth the money

I got my white arcade, plugged it in, started it up, and then *tried* to start the controller, when I relized there were no batteries included. Bummer. But after I got that fixed, I turned it on, the fan was some what loud, but it ran great. It was in mint condition, almost as if it was new! Updated live, and everything looked great. I defiantly think this is worth the money, and I do not regret buying it. Getting a beat up one is a 1/5 chance. I took the chance and got a good one. Defiantly buy it, and if it is beat up, return it.

I bought this one with the hard drive. The console had a few marks on it, but it looks like the controller was brand new. Works great. I saved about $50 bucks from what I can tell.

Refurbished - Luck of the Draw

In my case I happened to get a refubished Arcade from early 2009. This was the other one that they had recently on sale with a supposed 256MB built-in memory. It did not have any built-in memory. It also looks like the xbox was well used (was expecting it, but not so beat up). The covers for the usb ports etc were missing. The xbox does work but you are better off spending a little more and getting something newer OR who knows, you may be luckier than me !!

Worked Good At First, Now Having Problems Already

The first few weeks this was working great, now it can't even read games and freezes a lot. I recently bought a new game and tried out new movies to play on the Xbox, but the system can not read them. Terrible decision to buy a refurbished system and i will more likely than not do it again.

    Be warned....3 RINGS OF DEATH

I was one of those with my xbox 360 on lay away since it first hit the market.I was smarter than those camping in the parking lot lol.But the first unit was taken back and then on the waiting list for a replacement.I remind you the cost was crazy to have one of the first units. But any way got the second one worked for 6 months then 3 rings of death.Sent it in and got another worked for a few months then 3 rings of death. At this point Ive allready got hd player and tons of games.Do the math$$$$.So any way.Xbox and microsoft get sued.So they extend the warranty for 3 years due to three rings of death so I sent it back in and get another one.And well that one did not last long at all.Call them up and they want another 130 dallars or what not because warranty is up.Warranty starts from very first purchase. But they bubble gumbed it untill warranty was up now I have a really expensive paper weight.I dont think any one should buy there product untill they make it right for every one. They were aware of the problem and the admitted they could not figuer out how to fix it.

Be warned, this product may have issues, mine is having non-stop audio problems and now may have to be sent back for repair or a refund. Better off buying a brand new one for $200

I purchased this reburbished 20G Xbox 360 as a gift for my son. I've had it for over six months and it works great! I have never had any problems with it at all and even though it does not have HDMI output, I still was able to get an 1080P signal through the component cables. We now have two XBOX 360's in my home, the ELITE, which I bought brand new four years ago on its release date, the Refurbished Arcade version which I am now reviewing... and I am about to purchase a third unit (REFURB OF COURSE!!!) for my bedroom so than I can enjoy my forecoming HBOGO HIGH DEF programing in my bedroom!!!

I got the black Arcade. It came in decent time, looked fantastic. . . plugged it in, and it had trouble recognizing my internet connection, after I got it to read it, it began the system update download, and took longer than it should. Finally got on, loaded my game, and it froze. . . after 3 more failed attempts, I finally got it to load. It froze on the game load screen. Said to clean the disc. It was already clean, but I cleaned it again, put it in, and it finally began to work (30 minutes after getting it hooked up), I played for 15-20 minutes before it froze. . . again. . . this is the most horrible thing I've ever spent money on. It is TOTALLY not worth a penny. . . I'd have been better off for my money trying to continue repairing the 360 I was trying to replace. I'm heading to the actual store location tomorrow to get it replaced or get my money back. Don't waste your time. . . it's garbage. . . It's supposed to be "quality" tested, and quite frankly, it is the worst "quality" testing I've ever experienced. All it would take is one loading of a game to realize it's NOT in proper working order. Best Buy. . . you need to get a better 3rd party refurbisher. . .
