I used to own an Xbox One X and some people will say that it was close enough to the Series X that it wasn’t a worthwhile upgrade since these are expensive and hard to get. Well let me put those claims to rest. While, yes, this console feels very similar to the One X when you fire it up, once you get into a game, it’s a whole new experience. One of my favorite games from last gen is Forza Horizon 4 and even though you could do 4K30fps and 1080p60fps on the One X, being able to do 4K60fps on the Series X makes it feel like a completely different game. The speeds that this console operates at are truly next level. One of my all time favorite games is the original Star Wars Battlefront II. I have that game for the original Xbox and it works on the Series X! But it works exceptionally well. It’s scary fast. I swear, I spent a collective 3 months of my life waiting for that game to load when I was young. The loading screen barely appears before the entire match is already on your screen with the Series X. It’s so fast that the loading screen is almost a flash on the screen. Of course, younger me is furious at how fast it is, knowing how many times I would just get up and grab a drink or a snack while it was loading. But older me has to start planning out the drinks and snacks before even turning on the console because the days of long loading times are gone, and that makes me extremely happy. It may feel like an Xbox One at first glance, but let me tell you, it is nothing like an Xbox One when you start really comparing speed and graphical quality. Pair it with an Elite Series 2 Controller and you’re in for a great time. Worthwhile leisure investment, 100%.

The Xbox Series X is a gaming powerhouse! With a generous 1TB storage, I've got plenty of space for my favorite games. The performance is top-notch – seamless gameplay and jaw-dropping graphics. Loading times are a thing of the past, and it's awesome that I can play both new and old titles. The design is sleek, fitting right into my entertainment setup. Whether you're a hardcore gamer or just love a good gaming session, the Xbox Series X is a solid choice for an immersive and enjoyable experience.

Runs very well, has a lot more storage than i was initially expecting, definitely has better graphics on games i normally play. The only down sides is i wish it came with a USB cord, like my brother got when he purchased his xbox x from a different store and the fact that with a Playstation when you get the PSplus subscription you get to keep your downloaded free included games that normally cost money even after you cancel the subscription when you dont have the money it or just dont want it anymore, while with the Xbox game pass you aren't allowed to play the games you download and put money into while playing it after you cancel it, like whats the point of paying monthly to play it for "free" when u could just save up and buy the game to have it without having to worry about keeping up with each month. I get that some people are saying its if you finish the game and want to uninstall it get another one for free but everyone takes a different amount of time to finish a game (especially if you work it will take longer than a few months) so for most non pro gamers it would take you about the same amount of money during each month to buy two to five and up games (normally costs like 60 to 80$ online for one) while you are still trying to finish one game, but sometimes offers fairly good discounts though. Otherwise im obsessed

I finally upgraded from the Xbox One X that is a beast of a console for what it is. I have many disc games so a digital console is out of the question for me. I can now finish Borderlands 3 and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands in an upscaled 4K at a butter smooth 60fps or a somewhat smooth 120fps. Red Dead Redemption 2, although it does not have a 'next gen' update for more than 30fps. I enjoy it only taking a few seconds to load into the game instead of the 5 or so minutes on the One X. Other games like COD, Forza and The Quarry; all look and play amazing on the Series X. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend to others, unless you just wait for the next Xbox to release.

The Xbox has been an amazing upgrade for my gaming setup. The load times are almost instant, and games run smoother than ever with the quick resume feature. The graphics are sharp and realistic, and I love how quiet the system is compared to older models. The controller feels comfortable for long gaming sessions, and having Game Pass gives me access to a huge library of games without spending extra. Whether I’m playing solo or online with friends, this console delivers a top-notch experience. Highly recommend for both casual and serious gamers!

Purchased just recently on sale and I’m not disappointed one bit. Everything is transferable from your last generation Xbox console so setup is super simple. And even if this your first time using an Xbox, I would say it’s still easy and intuitive. Having a 4k display w/ 120Hz refresh rate is optimal and is the only way to achieve 120fps and UHD settings for your games, but even without such a setup, most games still look super crisp and run smoothly 60fps. Ray tracing looks amazingly detailed and along with the UHD capabilities, is one of the console’s most notable features. This alone has been worth the upgrade for me. Now add the fact the series x version comes equipped with a 1 Terabyte hard drive as it’s standard with the ability to increase storage space via compatible external hard drive, and you have a beast of a gaming console. The series x also comes with the benefit of being able to use physical game disks, so if you do happen to have a collection of Xbox games you can use as well with no problems. As an added bonus, Xbox one or Xbox one x games that have a free series x upgrade will prompt you to download the upgrade once downloading starts. All of this should really leave you with just one logical conclusion . . . Go out and pick yourself up a Series X!

Received it from BestBuy in a box that looked like it was used for soccer practice. Opened already for me, because the delivery guy is so thoughtful! Controller is a little finicky when used while plugged in, but I'm not returning the whole shebang for a meager controller malfunction. The Xbox Series X itself is awesome. Nothing to complain about there at all! Worth the dosh!

From someone who was originally planning on getting the ps5 I missed out and instead settled on the Xbox series x. I planned on getting this eventually but not until later in the year however this console is a great system for both new and existing Xbox fans. First thing first the setup is quick and easy all of your games you purchased from the Xbox one era are available to download and play on your new console right after the setup. I was surprised to see all my games I bought from the Xbox one show up immediately after I set up my condo. For those uninformed the series x can play a limited amount of games from the original Xbox from 2001 and Xbox 360 it can also play every single Xbox one game as well it also loads every game at a faster rate so you’ll be spending less time in a loading screen and more time gaming. The quick resume feature is amazing and by far my favorite feature of the console. It lets you switch between up to 5 games at a time without going through in game menus. For example you could be playing Halo 5 and decide you want to play GTA 4 (an Xbox 360 game) you’ll switch to gta 4 and if you decide to return to halo 5 you’ll continue right from where you left off. The console is also capable of displaying games (that allow it) at 4K resolution and 120fps if you have a tv that supports it. If not the console still works on a standard 1080p or 720p tv you just won’t get that premium image quality and smooth gameplay. I would recommend buying this over the Xbox series s as the series x is more powerful and will run games way better than the series s but if you are on a budget the series s is ok as well but do know that it does not have a disk drive so you will only be able to play digital copies of games instead of both physical and digital. Gamepass is also a great feature if you are just joining the Xbox brand as it gives you access to over 100+ games that you can download and play all the way through. Games are added and rotated out on a monthly bases some games stay on for years others get removed after a few months. Think of it as a Netflix for video games. I recommend getting gamepass ultimate as it gives you access to gamepass and Xbox live gold which give you access to online multiplayer titles. Gamepass ultimate is 15$ a month but for new members you can get it for 1$ for 3 months and pay the 15$ once the 3 month period is over. If you just joined the Xbox brand and have no games to play gamepass ultimate immediately erases that problem as you can play 100+ games spanding from Xbox 2001 to the Xbox series x/s generation. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on this console get it it’s a great console with a lot of consumer friendly benefits for new and returning players.

If you see a sale pick up a Series X, powerful enough to last well into next gen (project helix), no need to upgrade to project helix immediately, new CEO Asha Sharma making huge changes for the better, they are for the players unlike PlayStation who are super greedy I own both PS5 and Xbox Series X, game pass ultimate is a great value for gamers, worth it

Overall it is a good console, but I find it lacking in many areas. For starters, the price is ridiculous. Sony keeps their consoles at a reasonable price unlike Microsoft. You can buy a ps5 pro for this price. The only reason I decided to go with an Xbox, was because I already had a library of games built up. Another thing that is disappointing is the lack of new games coming out on physical discs. I bought the disc drive version specifically collect discs, and was disappointed to find that the shelves are mostly empty compared to ps5. I also wish that it came in more colors, specifically white. I ended up buying a dbrand skin to make up for that, but I wish I didn't have to. The storage is lacking too. I only got about 800 usable GB I believe. One last thing, with the recent price raise of the game pass subscription, it also does not seem worth it anymore. With how much it is pushed, you don't really seem to get your money's worth if you don't play that many games. You'd be better off taking advantage of the disc drive and buying used games, but even that's difficult since Microsoft is trying to phase out physical media. They just seem to be giving in to corporate greed nowadays. Now that I've gotten most of my gripes out of the way, I do like how quiet it is while gaming, I like the user interface, I like the form factor, I like the controllers (aside from stick drift, come on Microsoft just fix that already), and I really like the performance you get I just wish it was cheaper. All in all while I like it, I wouldn't pay full price for it and I'm glad I waited for a sale. There is just a lot to be desired and it feels like Microsoft started giving up on the Xbox side of things. If I didn't want to collect physical disc games or have a more portable gaming system than my PC that shares the same ecosystem, I ultimately would not buy this.

Powerful system, love that I can switch between a few games without having to boot them back up, doesn’t work with Fortnite so I have to always boot fortnite up if I switch between games. No man’s sky loads quickly, no lag on Lego Fortnite, skull and bones works really well this season, minecraft is smooth, dead island 2 loads quickly, Works with my turtle beach wireless headset and the Xbox headset works very well with this system too. Doesn’t have much memory especially if you have call of duty which takes up like 200 g of space so I do have the expansion card and an external hard drive. I bought a skin for it and it looks lovely.

I’ve always been an Xbox fan since battlefield was only for it. The new Xbox one series x definitely has better graphics than the previous Xbox one. I usually play around 3hrs a day before bed and I haven’t had any glitches with it and you can’t hear the fan to cool the system so that’s always great since I play at night when everyone’s asleep. Knocking it a star for the price point. Other than that I love the system.

Could not wait to pick it up at the store!!! As someone who has owned almost all the Xbox series... I have say the Series X is everything I expected the next gen of Xbox would be. Extensive and thought out backwards compatibility. Awesome job by Microsoft . I can't believe how life like the graphics are. Wish I had 2, cause i think my son is jealous... Comparing it to ps5 they are equally matched but I have to say, Xbox’s quick resume is a game changer. The fact that I could be playing some assassins Halo infinite and jump right into an online match with buddy’s on coldwar in a matter of seconds is amazing! All I can say is.... Get one if you can!!!

Ive been a playstation fanboy all my life! Ever since my first playstation 1 when i was just 4.5 years old! I was just blind and convinced that i will be sticking to my pc and playstation ecosystem for another generation, and that xbox will still be cool but not for me. After the past year with recent jaw dropping announcments and amazing xbox exclusives i just had to get my hands on the series x and finally get into the xbox ecosystem for once. And i gotta admit i love my series x more than my ps5! The gamepass is just a big freaking WIN for microsoft and xbox! And the power of the series x has is just mind blowing! And out performes the ps5. Not to mention that the series x comes with a native 1tb with seperate storage for system software and updates so you never run out of storage unlike the ps5 that has 1 storage for the entire system, so you only end up with like 600gb at the end if the day, which is about 4-5 games. In conclusion, if you manage to get yourself a series x go for it! Do not hesitate to try and get one. But if you dont mind the performance and storage penalty then the series s will give you the same experience and is much cheaper and easy to get. Seeing the series s in hand i can confirm that the average joe that just want the key to next gen gaming without spending much and not caring about performance will enjoy the series s just as much as the series x. But if youre hardcore like me and will notice the difference, then this is it!

TAbsolutely amazing, got Game Pass as well (highly reccomend if you get an X, S, One, PC, doesn't matter, value is unbelievable). There may not be a bunch of games optimized/released yet, but, Game Pass provides pretty much every title that has been optimized or released. Even if there isn't a next gen version, auto-HDR can improve a lot more games. Jedi Fallen Order, Ori and the Will of the Wisps, and Madden look and play incredibly. If/When you can get ahold of a Series X, you can tell the difference immediately between load times, graphics, and overall game smoothness. Now that I've upgraded, I could never go back to my One X.

We have owned both the X and the S. The X-Box X was worth the upgrade. It is faster and you can have more games on it. You don’t realize how useful that is, but nowadays, the game files are so big that one big game takes up all the memory. So if you have a family, it’s worth it to have the X so everyone can have a game on it. Next part of my review is purchasing it from Best Buy. The purchasing was easy and we were able to buy geek squad protection seems a little expensive but when the game box itself is $600 it’s worth it we received the package very quickly and in good condition. Controller: on a sidenote, the controller we do not use the standard Microsoft Xbox controller. We have the Xbox elite controller, which is hands-down, the best controller that we have ever purchased and we have had scuff and evil controllers which cost easily an extra $100 to $150 more. The elite controller has removable analog sticks and back paddle buttons. And we found with the scuff controllers they did not last long at all. Hope this helps.

For those who are considering between the Xbox Series X or a PS5, I feel that I can write an unbiased review, because I own and enjoy both consoles. While, I enjoy my PS5, the Xbox Series X is one of my top 5 favorite gaming consoles that I’ve ever owned. The user interface is sleek, fast and easy to navigate. Gaming performance is on par with top of the line gaming PC’s. The unit itself is quiet, and can be sat vertically or horizontally. Streaming games, via Microsoft’s GamePass, is usually a great experience, and even when streaming a game that requires peak performance, the console is still relatively quiet and never hot to the touch. At first, I wasn’t sure that I’d like it’s shape, because it is a rectangular tower, but it fits pretty inconspicuously into my entertainment center, positioned behind the left corner of my TV so that its disk slot is still conveniently accessible for when I want to play physical copies of my games. I love the feel and grip of the controller. One of my favorite aspects of the new controller that’s packaged with the console is that it has a textured grip and triggers, which is a feature that is seen on many premium 3rd party controllers. I’m happy that the console has 1TB of space, as a lot of these triple-A titles are massive in size. It’s been a close to two years now, and I’m still very happy this console.

I bought the Xbox Series X from Best Buy and honestly I’m very impressed with it. The console is extremely fast compared to older systems. Games load almost instantly and Quick Resume is one of the best features because I can switch between games without waiting forever for them to start back up. The graphics are amazing, especially on a 4K monitor or TV. Games look very smooth and detailed, and the performance stays consistent even in demanding games. The console itself feels premium and runs surprisingly quiet for how powerful it is. I also like how backwards compatible it is with older Xbox games. Game Pass makes the system even better because there are so many games available without constantly buying new ones. The only downside is the storage space can fill up quickly with modern games, but overall this is easily one of the best gaming consoles I’ve owned. Best Buy shipped it fast and the pickup process was easy. Definitely worth the money if you want powerful performance and smooth gameplay.

I love my Series X. A perfect replacement for my original Xbox One. Plays my old games (Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One) with improved visuals, higher refresh rate, faster loading, and faster download times. Definitely a quiet system! Design is sleek and minimal. The matte black color makes it blend easily with my set up. My old mechanical hard drive works with it so I'm able to transfer games to and from the SSD. Older Xbox One controllers are compatible so I had no need to buy extra controllers. Perfect for if you want a cheap controller for your Series X/S. Setting up was made super simple using the Xbox app.
