Torna is a great addition to the XC2 story and while you have to pay a little more for it, it is by far the best value for any DLC.

This game is incredible in every way. Nintendo and Monolith have done a fantastic job on the story and gameplay of this game.

Must buy for anyone who likes RPGS/JRPGS. Has a great story, awesome world, and excellent gameplay. Highly recommend.

XC2 suffered a lot from pacing and more shallow combat, luckily Torna fixes a lot of those issues, especially with the new vanguard system and functions are introduced a lot sooner than in XC2 and the game as a whole benefits from its more focused game design.

Although this game is a prequel and much shorter than Xenoblade 2. It’s a lot of fun and the story is great!

So this is the story expansion for Xenoblade Chronicles 2...long story short its amazing and just as an expansive world as the regular game! You dont need to have beaten XB2 to play this one but you get more out of the story if you have since this expansion is 500yrs before the main story. They slightly changed up the battle system but once you get it the game becomes amazing! i highly recommend this and cant wait for the next Xenoblade game to come out

This DLC takes everything from the base game and expands 10x (story, gameplay, and even graphics).

Torna the Golden country is easily the best expansion to a game I've ever played. It truly stands as a full prequel versus simple DLC. It refines and changes many aspects of the main Xenoblade Chronicles 2 game (which was my favorite switch game so far, and I've played most all games released on the system). It tells a truly riveting story with great, fast paced combat and a deep RPG system. I can't recommend it enough, especially for the price

Great addition to an already great game. The characters, story and music are just as good as XC2.

The game is great, graphics, the story, the only pitfall it’s that the game comes with a free access code but it only works if you have the XBC2 basic game. So to enjoy the “free extra content” you need to have both.

An amazing epic and fun prequel that takes place 500 years prior to the events of Xenoblade 2. Exclusive to this prequel you get to stop at campsites to have conversations with your allies as well make stuff that will further assist your party and now you can swap between having control of your Driver or your Blade both during combat and when roaming the world.

Not only does this game expand upon the backstory of some characters from the main game, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but It also tweaks the battle system nicely and the land of Torna Is quite beautiful too especially during sunsets! Torna The Golden Country even Includes a code for the expansion pass so If you own Xenoblade Chronicles 2 you can get the rest of the content the expansion pass offers.

Good way to get into Xenoblade. Not nearly as long as XC2 but I appreciated that!

I LOVED Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Possibly my favorite game ever. I'm about 10 hours into this expansion and I'm loving it just as much. In fact there are some significant improvements. The graphics are cleaner and the rendering issues seem solved. The tutorial is more straight forward and you can actually go back to the content later. Xenoblade Chronicles 2, or this expansion is not for everyone. You need the following: 1. An appreciation anime style stories (lots of long cut scenes) 2. Willing to play a long game (This expansion is 40+ hours) 3. Open minded about a combat system that is technically real-time but is not action. It is more like a rythm/strategy mini game than action combat. I love it, some will hate it.

Recently purchased Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna Edition for Nintendo Switch. This is an add on story for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Continuing the story of 2 characters from the aforementioned game. This game stands on it own. Allowing the player to continue in the environment of the original game. Highly recommend picking this one up.

This is a great addition to the Xenoblade Chronicle story not just DLC but a prequel to the original with an added 50 hours of stand alone gameplay what more can you ask for. Previous knowledge of a first game is not needed for this you can either play it before or after and still enjoy the story I would recommend this for any new or existing fans at the Xeno series

If you've played the main game this is a great follow up to the main story. Only downside is that that game is rather short. Wish there was alittle more to it.
