If you played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and liked it then this is a must play for you. If you have never played a Xenoblade game then this is a wonderful place to start. Faster combat and less slow traveling makes the game feel more condensed and a much shorter play time needed. A Great RPG follow up the Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Taking place before the events of the main game with the same great gameplay and story of the main game. Great fun and worth playing for any JRPG fan

This is a great addition to the switch library of games. Monolith listened to the gamers and fixed all the things that were wrong with the original game. It is more action oriented and streamlined. A great origin story for Pyra and Malos from Xenoblade 2. If you like RPGs you should consider this one.

If you liked the xenoblade series then you will love this it's a little step up from xenoblade 2 with the mechanics and the world rendering/graphics. Jrpg fans this is definitely for you . This follows the story events which happened before xenoblade 2 . Oh yeah and it's a physical cartridge! Woot , woot .

This is an extensive standalone DLC / expansion for the fantastic Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and it is just as good as it. It’s a whole new story in a whole new region and connects back to the first game. If you like Xenoblade or JRPGs then defiantly pick this up!

I was a really big fan of the original Xenoblade Chronicles 2, so I naturally had to buy this prequel. The gameplay is a little different, but for me, it did not take long to get used to them. I do like the english dub, and the story of this game is great.

If you love Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you will love this prequel story. It is a darker story, has great characters and new battle mechanics. Dont worry if you never played XBC2 before, it is a great game to begin with and immerse yourself into the XBC world of Alrest.

Weirdly i enjoyed this prequel game over the main game. Seemed to flow better with the story and gameplay.

Xeno 2 is a solid game to begin with. This bonus expansion, set before the start of 2's story line was a nice surprise as add-on DLC but to see how well the end result is as a standalone game as well its well worth buying just to play this story arc

While the base game is great, this one improves on it in almost every way. And while you don't need to play the base game first as Torna is a prequel, you run the risk of not enjoying the base game if you play it second because Torna is so much better.

The combat is more streamlined than in the base game and there are a few gameplay changes but nothing too major. The story and gameplay are great. Not much to say other than if you liked XC 2 then you'll definitely enjoy the dlc

Even if you didnt play Xenoblade Chronicles 2, you should be fine playing the expansion as it is the prequel, great rpg series exclusive to the switch and I recommend it to anyone who wants to hear some of the best videogame nusic out there as well.

If you played Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and want more action then this game is definitely for you! This game is a prequel so you don't have to play any of the other games to enjoy it which is awesome. If you like RPGs, then get this game!

I cannot express enough how much I loved Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and the DLC did not dissappoint. The voice acting is top notch, the battle system is very similar with slight differences and you just can't help but love all the characters.

This game is incredible. Xenoblade 2 is one of the best games on switch. But it does have flaws. This game is DLC for the game that includes a stand alone prequel game. The prequel fixes most of the flaws that were in the main game.

If you enjoyed Xenoblade 2 then this is a must have addition. What got me to bite on this game was that it also includes everything that the season pass has besides Torna: The Golden Country through a redeemable voucher for the eshop.

I was looking up videos and reviews for every Xenoblade game and the on I wanted most was X but because it’s only for the Wii U which I don’t have I decided to go for the latest one. I’m glad I went with this one.

My only disclaimer is that you must play Xenoblade Chronicles 2 first to fully enjoy this game. A great game that improves on what made the original XC2 so good this is a worthy next entry in the series.

Torna the Golden Country is a prequel to XC2, which has gameplay and graphics performance. Also, it is standalone, and if you had the the main game, you get all the DLC for it with this standalone package.

To date I was confused if to get this game or not, as it seems it was free to those who owned the original game. But I was never sure how to get it and decided to buy it from Best Buy. It is worth it.
