I bought this set because I recently fell in love with the game series and hoped that the anime would be pretty good as well. I had just finished the first chapter of the game series so I knew the anime series wouldn't spoil anything from chapters 2 and 3. For the money I paid for it (which is more than what is listed above) I was truly expecting better. The whole production looks to have been made on a shoestring budget and there are some odd changes made to the story. Having played through the game this anime was modeled after, I found it difficult to stay interested to the end...and that's not because I already knew what was going to happen. The experience just felt lacking throughout. Once again, I feel like this is something only the most die hard fans of the Xenosaga series should own.
