    I bought this to avoid monthly rental charges from XFINITY. Works well on the same floor but in upper floor, there is poor reception and no network connectivity.

    Finally able to own the Comcast Xfinity modem/router instead of monthly rental fees. I could have bought this several times over in monthly rental fees paid to Comcast.

    Poor range and very slow. It looks like the rented dpc 3939 but it's not even close in quality.

    This was purchased because it is the only available xfinity triple play capable modem that works with standard vpn. It is basically sad. The Wifi is week at best and connections drop. The phone is questionable and often unusable.

    I am so happy that I bought this modem. I got tired of paying $10.00 a month to Xfinity, It will pay for itself even though it was costly. Wonderful product.

    I'm happy with the wired performance but overall the wireless is terrible. Why even bother, Arris? If you want wifi you'll need to supplement this cable modem with a stand alone wifi router. The VoIP capabilities are OK.
