Customers praise the AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB graphics card for its high performance, substantial RAM, and competitive price. Many appreciate its effective cooling system and the high frame rates it delivers in games, along with the included warranty. However, some users note that the card is large and can be noisy under heavy load, while others mention power consumption and occasional driver-related issues. A few also reported experiencing coil whine.

This is by far the ultimate value and performance for the hardcore PC enthusiast. With the onboard and incredibly insane 8 GB DDR5 memory, you'll be ready for any title available on the market. Running all games at the maximum Ultra settings, you'll put console graphics to shame. Even titles like GTA V will run smoothly at 1080p @ 60fps. If your wanting the very best in class graphics then the Bestbuy version of the XFX R9 series is the best value I've seen.

Excellent Value - Great GPU for the $

This Graphics Card is an excellent value for the $350 price point. I originally had an EVGA GTX 970 SSC in there and realized that the 3.5GB of GDDR that it came equipped with just would not do. After reading reviews and other benchmarks, I decided to go with the AMD Radeon R9 390 and specifically chose the XFX model for a few reasons: - Company known to stand by their product - Lifetime warranty when purchased from Best Buy - Other reviews showed moderate overclock success - The black color and included back plate are aesthetically compared to some of the other models I have had this card for a week or so now and I have certainly given it a thorough run-through. I played numerous current release games with it including The Witcher 3, Dishonored, BioShock Infinite, DOTA2, Diablo 3, and Tomb Raider all on their highest graphics setting... Which is impressive, considering I am playing on a 27" 1440p 144Hz monitor. If you have a supported monitor like the XG27HU that I am using, you can benefit from AMD FreeSync - which reduces tearing when pushing this card to its limits. I am thoroughly impressed with this card and the capabilities it provides. After being a long-time Nvidia fanboy, I am happy about choosing to switch over. Sure, there are plenty of other cards that will outperform this one, but certainly not at this price point. This card is an easy 5 star product that I would recommend to a friend, and already have.

I've had this for a couple months now, and it has given me hardly any problems. It will run pretty much any game at ultra settings. Others have said that it's fans can get loud, I haven't really had an issue, as long as you have the volume up, you probably won't even notice it. I've had just one issue, for about a week it was making everything extremely vibrant and it would resize the screen, but it fixed itself somehow. If you are thinking about getting it, then get it. It is kind of a pain to get the download code for dirt rally, but just look hard enough and you will figure out where to get it.

I was trying to get a video card that gave me the most bang for my buck and this one does the trick. So far, it has been perfect. I've pushed it a few times and it has surpassed my expectations. It's great to be able to play my games again and push the settings to the max for the ultimate experience. I highly recommend this video card!

I purchased this as a temporary GPU since I was holding out for a more expensive one, and may stick with it for a bit since it is doing so well. For the most part, I can run most games on ultra. I can run on high with everything set to maximum and it holds out strong! The temperature stays well below 80 degrees as well, so thats nice.you cant beat the price for this card. A great card for under a hundred!

I bought 2 of these for xFire mode. My 3D mark score is better than 99% of all scores and even beats out 2 x GTX 980's in SLI. Plus, the lifetime warranty is huuuuge!

This is the "cream of the crop" Best Buy has offered in AMD cards so far & I love this card! To get the full advantage of this card, you must be a serious gamer, with a serious system. Don't even think about using this with a low end power supply. Get or have a quality 850w minimum power supply with a 150w or better total 12v rail. If you don't understand that lingo, ask someone before you buy! In "reviews" benchmarks are not the same as " real world " performance. I've had the best Nvidia cards, tried the 970 & this card still smokes them in quality & FPS. For the price, you get a rock solid card that knocks the socks off cards in the $500 range. No need to run 2 cards, this handles it all just fine, at the highest settings & beyond if you use virtual resolutions. It comes factory overclocked at 1000mhz & 6000mhz effective memory clock. I have pushed this to 1050, stable but the thermals aren't very good & the gain isn't worth it. Fan noise is low, even on 100% & at stock speed it never goes over 60c. The card never crashes, the visuals are beyond excellent. You can have all the "eye candy" jacked up & still max out the frame rates built into the game. Give it power, give it air, & it will give you a whole new gaming experience. Videos are enhanced beyond rendering levels most Blu-ray players offer. As with all my XFX cards, perfect & never had to return one for warranty yet. It's nice to have Best Buy around the corner offering "enthusiast" level components.

The card is easy to install, game graphics are outstanding now. Highly recommend you download drivers from AMD.com to install, not drivers on disc as they are outdated.

I have built many PCs over the years, so have a fairly good yard stick. It runs Battlefield 4 on High with a strong fps. I use 3 screens daily on Windows 10 which runs very smoothly. noiser than i'd have liked. Pros ; Good value, great performance Cons: Not as whisper quiet as I would have hoped. Little bulky

Read reviews for days before I decided on the 390 against a 970. I'm glad I didn't get the 3.5gb card because gta5 maxed out at 1080p takes up 4.5gb. Which this card handles with ease. My biggest gripes is that there are no LEDs on the card at all. And it makes my computer into a space heater

This card is everything you ever hoped for and then some. Playing Counter-strike in 4K it averages more than 200 FPS. The video is so smooth you have to see it to believe it.

Given that this is my first GPU purchase, and that i'm new to gaming on a PC; my opinion is only that, an opinion. I think it runs pretty well, i'm getting ultra settings on Mad Max or Battleborn running at 1440 at around 55 to 70 fps. More than tolerable. It runs DOOM at 1080 on max settings at around 70 fps, again not too shabby. My only caveat is that it can get pretty loud. I have it installed in a well ventilated semi silent case, the Supressor F31 by Tt and it sounds like a desk fan. If quiet is what your after maybe check elsewhere, but it's yet to be problem for me as I keep my tower under my desk.

This is a new card, for a new PC. Solid state OS drive + this card = live stream + game online - lag. Make sure you have room enough to cover up another slot; you'll need it.

I picked this card up right before the RX480 was released. This card has the same, if not a little better performance than the RX400 series but does come at the cost of more electricity. This card was performed exceptionally well with both gaming and Ethereum (27mh/s) mining. Make sure your PSU has both a 8-port and 6-port connector. Yes, this card takes 14 total lines of power.
