Customers are saying

Customers praise the AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB graphics card for its high performance, substantial RAM, and competitive price. Many appreciate its effective cooling system and the high frame rates it delivers in games, along with the included warranty. However, some users note that the card is large and can be noisy under heavy load, while others mention power consumption and occasional driver-related issues. A few also reported experiencing coil whine.

Probably the only draw back is the size. I fit it on the motherboard but it was a tight fit. Great out put haven't even over clocked it yet.

This card has been great aside for a few issues with the drivers that are running it. The card is super fast and haven't really had any issues with lag in games. There are a few driver issues with Fallout 4. The other small issue was that is required a 750watt power supply which i had to upgrade from my 650watt power supply because my capacitor started squeeling. But other than those small issues its been a pretty good card so far.

Card works flawlessly. I upgraded from a GTX 570 1.2GB and this vastly increased my performance in games like Tom Clancy's the Division. This was my first Radeon card and I have to say that it was worth every penny. Phenomenal card from a great manufacturer.

Plays every game I throw at it on high to ultra settings. Pulling 35-45 fps on 4K mode with Amd freesync enabled. 1080p I get a solid 60fps everything ultra on the division.

The card comes with a lot of extra pieces (AV connectors). The card is a power hog, make sure you have an aftermarket power supply. But, once installed, you can enjoy playing games at Ultra settings.

I purchased this after deciding I needed some more horsepower than my PNY GTX970 2GB was giving me. Particularly for games like GTA V. This card has double the video memory at a similar price point to the GTX I had before, and man does it outperform. I don't overclock or anything crazy, but it's an easy setup and this thing cranks. 60fps on just about anything outside of GTA V or games with big maps/draw distances. Runs rocket league at 60 without a hiccup. Would highly recommend to seriously boost your graphics power without murdering your wallet. Alas, it does have the same old downfall of all AMD cards which is their software and support are iffy at best. To combat this, I simply don't update software until it comes out of Beta as indicated on the software utility. This is one area where NVIDIA based cards really shine as opposed to the AMDs, their software is much more reliable.

This is a very high powered graphics card I run on a system with two 3GB SATA 3 Hard Drives and a 750 watt Corsair power supply. Card runs smoothly but the fans are very loud at higher settings.

The R9 390 is a great card. While it will not do display games in 4K, it is great for gaming in 1080P. As the next generation of cards comes out I would expect the price of this one to drop making it an even bigger bargain.

This card does a great job running games and everything else you could throw at it. However make sure your Desktop has enough room for it. The length of the card is a little long and may not fit into your computer case.

This is my 3rd pair (running in X-fire) which I have purchased and installed in 3 separate scratch built gaming rigs. They went in and performed, as expected, without incident or "tweaking". I like reliable components. The tech services folks at XFX are in the US, they actually answer the phone and they know what they are talking about. Now we'll see if Best Buy stands behind their lifetime warranty on these cards, as they should be in service for a long time.
